@Annny27 you are right. Someone i know didn't even realise until she was almost 6 months!
@Theawkwardblonde nope. No green here. 🤣

becarefuloutthere · 19/11/2021 17:53

@paintfairy that is crazy late! Surely she was big and could feel them kicking her, madness 🤪 I'm glad your hair hasn't gone green 😝

paintfairy · 19/11/2021 18:28

@becarefuloutthere she wasn't a slim girl, although she wasn't huge. But she'd already got a child so you would think you'd know! She went on hen dos and all sorts. 🤣 They thought she had some kind of stomach issue and she was referred to the hospital for that. 🙄

CycleGirl20 · 19/11/2021 18:33

@paintfairy a couple I knew at university only found out because it turned out her stomach pain was, surprise, a baby! They found out when she went into labor!

becarefuloutthere · 19/11/2021 19:05

@paintfairy oh jeez 🙄 what a shock!
@CycleGirl20 omg no way, you hear about that sort of stuff don't you. I just don't know how you can't know. Your whole body shape changes too, madness. I think a lot must be denial.
@Theawkwardblonde how exciting that you're engaged now, bet you can't bloody wait!! We were 20 months in the the end and ivf. Perseverance and intervention can work! Should be you soon @Annny27🤞🏾

Annny27 · 19/11/2021 20:28

@becarefuloutthere yep we had my friends cousin who didn't know she was pregnant till she gave birth....BUT a few months before she wasn't drinking at Christmas so we think she did know but didn't want to tell anyone as she was only 18. So not sure how much she "didn't know" haha

Sunbird24 · 20/11/2021 13:25

Not knowing til you’re that far along sounds heaven compared to being painfully aware every single day! Not sure I’d like only finding out when I was actually going into labour though, you’d definitely be sending out emergency shopping parties wouldn’t you?!
That said, I’ve hit an LH peak this morning so my next embryo transfer should be happening in about 5 days. Praying that this one will finally be my rainbow… 🤞

paintfairy · 20/11/2021 14:14

@Sunbird24 not to mention that your boss would probably not be delighted. 🤣🤣
🤞🤞🤞 for you.

becarefuloutthere · 20/11/2021 20:54

@Annny27 gosh some ppl 🙈
@Sunbird24 praying with you hun! 🙏🏾

crazycatlady1981 · 22/11/2021 08:26

@Sunbird24 keeping everything crossed for you this week! 🤞🏻x

@CycleGirl20 hope you are doing ok! When is Otd? x

CycleGirl20 · 22/11/2021 09:08

@crazycatlady1981 otd is 13dp5dt, which is Sunday! I think I'll test around Thursday. I think it might not have worked for me this time. I keep thinking I can feel AF coming

polejunkie · 22/11/2021 09:30

Good luck @CycleGirl20 - I felt like my period was coming up until about 10-12 weeks lol, the body definitely plays tricks, I hope this week doesn't drag for you!

Motherofkittens28 · 22/11/2021 10:11

@CycleGirl20 I still get that feeling that AF might be coming now, and I'm 20 weeks! It's amazing how similar pregnancy feels to being premenstrual. Wishing you so much luck!

CycleGirl20 · 22/11/2021 10:22

Thank you both. I'm struggling a bit at the moment. We recently moved to a new area and I'm finding it hard to make new friends with IVF & COVID so I've got that on top of IVF. I can't go out drinking with work people, I can't join a bootcamp/CrossFit class, I'm nervous to go anywhere with crowds, I can't join any of the local pregnancy groups for obvious reasons. I want this point in my life to be behind me, so I can move forward with my partner and our baby and make decisions based on that life and not be in constant limbo. My partner thinks I'm inpatient. I might take his bike off him and hide it and we'll see how impatient he is when he can't have that back for some unknown period (can I add 'i can't do long rides on my bike' to my list).

polejunkie · 22/11/2021 10:30

@CycleGirl20 don't be hard on yourself, limbo land is tough, it's the not knowing when it'll end or which way it will go that is the kicker, get your partner onside, he needs to try and understand how difficult this is for you (hell go ahead and hide the bloody bike!!) hang in there lovely x

Marvellouslymadmum · 22/11/2021 21:00

@paintfairy yay congratulations lovely! So pleased for you 😊
Re: hair dye it's because you don't want any chemicals getting in your blood stream and effecting baby. (That's the official reason)
But everyone has different views on this, as beauticians we are taught no Microblading etc when pregnant but that is because there's also an infection risk with those treatments like tattoos. Nails etc are however fine. It comes down to personal preference.

@Sunbird24 I've had the odd test go like that but not often

I agree with @becarefuloutthere how can you not know you're pregnant that late! I think denial must play a part

@Sunbird24 keeping absolutely everything crossed for you!

@CycleGirl20 it is so hard being in limbo land but hopefully you'll get a good result 🤞🏻🤞🏻

CycleGirl20 · 22/11/2021 21:09

@Marvellouslymadmum thanks!

The couple I knew were also 19 or 20, which probably helps with getting pregnant when you didn't expect to and also not realising you're pregnant. She was quite big

Marvellouslymadmum · 22/11/2021 21:33

@CycleGirl20 I'm sure it can happen just baffles me lol

OP posts:
paintfairy · 22/11/2021 22:29

@Marvellouslymadmum well I had to do it, it was horrendous. 🤣 But it should be ok for a while now. I will be seeing more people with it being Christmas so couldn't leave it like that. After that, no one will notice. 😬

Yeah it happens. God knows how. When you are this end of the spectrum it's just hard to imagine!

Marvellouslymadmum · 22/11/2021 23:08

@paintfairy I'm sure it'll be fine, I'd think at home dye is weaker than hairdressers dye too and hair dressers don't seem to have a problem with it 🤷🏼‍♀️ I've just re dyed mine actually but it's bright pink I missed my pink hair too much

That's it, really hard to understand

Annny27 · 24/11/2021 17:00

Congratulations @cyclegirl20 :D any symptoms?

Amazing news 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳💗💗💗💗💗

CycleGirl20 · 24/11/2021 17:01

Thank you!! So happy. It's a really dark line for 9dp5dt too. I told DH it might be twins 😅. It was a single transfer

CycleGirl20 · 24/11/2021 17:06

I don't really have much symptom wise @Annny27! Only a bit of period like pain
