I’m going to try again in June, looks like it will be the end of the month based on my predicted cycles. Don’t rule yourself out just yet, when’s OTD?

@Sunbird24 I avoid it most of the time but occasionally let myself wander on there 🙃

OTD is Monday, AF would be coming tomorrow if not for the Cyclogest so it kinda makes sense to me that the migraine is coming 😩. Just not sure how hormonal migraines and progesterone interact really, pretty sure they’re caused by some kind of oestrogen drop off and it’s not the most common of PMS symptoms so I don’t hear many experiences of migraines and ivf :/

My first time on that site and a quick look at the Irish girls' section was upsetting haha. My name isn't there either (other than a shitty Anglicised version) and a lot of the meanings of the names are all wrong.

I have a couple of names in mind for girls and one for a boy that my DH is insisting on. I didn't intend to pick names it just sort of happened!

@Somatronic hopefully the one he's insisting on is decent lol. I have a couple of girls names but I find those easier to change around if we disagree. But he would like Cornish names so I sort of compromised and said I'd consider the boy names! What I haven't considered is if we double barrel surnames (he doesn't like this idea because he thinks his name will get dropped!) then the names might be too long. So there's no decisions here, and no babies either lmao. Nameberry is pretty shite, yes, it was the first result that came up with examples!

So my migraine never developed beyond a headache. There’s still time, of course, but I’m really hoping it’s a good sign. However, as ever, progesterone could be responsible 🤷‍♀️

Great news about the headache - nothing worse than a bad migraine. I feel sick even thinking about them.

Well I decided to test early today. Boob symptoms had gone away and so did most of the twinges in my tummy so I wanted to get the negative today instead of waiting all weekend. I'm going to visit my parents for the long weekend and I just wanted to know.

But I got a BFP! My first ever! I don't quite believe it. My OTD is Monday so I'll test again then to make sure.

@becarefuloutthere Yeah, I'm flip flopping between doom and gloom and optimism. Testing Monday, don't want to believe it could be a good sign in case it's a negative :/

Bringing the thread back down again - my body is still totally broken! I'm now cd63 and no af, had a whacking headache all day, just wish she would hurry up and show her ugly face so I can start the next round of clomid!

@Marvellouslymadmum I’m getting more nervous the nearer I get to monday, what fun this is. Distracting myself with shopping for nice swimming costumes for our impromptu holiday booking in the tww lol

@thislittlebird I can only imagine! I think I would've caved and tested by now 🤦🏼‍♀️ I've no idea, still had a headache today I'm just fed up now

@kerrym87 I had a long cycle on my first clomid 50mg then 2nd and 3rd weren't so bad, this is my first cycle on 100mg but I didn't think it's be too bad as I've gone straight from 50-100! But hey ho hopefully the next two will be better

@Marvellouslymadmum I hate testing, I’d never ever do it again if I could lol. Today is day 4 of headaches and on/off nausea for me, so far this morning I feel a bit worse than the other days, I’m wondering if today’s headache will finally become the migraine to shit on my parade.

I’m out with a friend this morning, which is a better way to spend time than googling all morning.

As I mentioned earlier, the headache did turn into a full on migraine, so I never made it out with my friend. Slept for a bit and then decided to do a cheapie because I know what a migraine means for me. It was very white, but not a shock. I’ll do an official one for confirmation with FMU tomorrow but I don’t expect any change.

Thanks ladies. I was so hopeful when the migraine didn’t come and then it finally did come and I knew it wasn’t to be. I have a follow up with a doctor and then will schedule the next FET, they’ve told me there’s not a long wait at present but still sucks only having unknown points in time to know when we can try again.

I’m going to ask them about what I can try next time, maybe aspirin or something, especially with my migraines to consider too. It’s incredibly upsetting but I have to be realistic that my embryos aren’t all going to be good at my age, kicking myself for not starting this shit journey much sooner.

Having shitty pms which has been worse since hormones and even though we haven't dtd apart from once at beginning of cycle hoping AF won't come! How frickin stupid of my brain....does mean I can ring nurses to work out finer points for July.....
Has anyone tried an ivf journal to help cope with things, I tried starting a notebook when thoughts and feelings were overwhelming but so hard yo just write on a blank sheet. One of recommended ones by Amber izzo no longer selling and not many out there.

@thislittlebird I hate testing too, I've tested just once a week for the last two weeks only because this cycle has been so mega long! I knew they would be stark white before I even did it 🤷🏼‍♀️

I had a chat with oh today as he mentioned that one of his cousins just had a baby and another is pregnant and they're both around my age, it made me insanely jealous and think how come I can't do it but I know he was trying to reassure me that it can happen. I brought up the subject if ivf again and maybe even a doner egg and suggested we give it until my next birthday in March and if we still haven't got anywhere we start the process and he just nodded along! So that's at least more positive than the last ivf chat!!
