Also if you go to the Examen website they have a list of places who offer the COMET test, that might be useful if you can find one near you.

thislittlebird · 26/02/2022 12:17

The IVF cycle has really ramped up my hormonal migraine this month. Not a shock, there’s a much bigger cliff for the hormones to drop off I suppose but ugh I am very tired of this and tired of throwing up. I’m on day 2 (cd4) and hoping this is the last day.

The sounds stupid but when we first started trying one of the things I was looking forward to was 9 months of no migraines (potentially!). Gets me down that I’ve had a lot of them and never managed a pregnancy.

Marvellouslymadmum · 26/02/2022 20:08

Hope everyone's doing ok? I'm cd1 again here 🙄 finally sorted my prescription out for the 100mg clomid and got the appointment with the facial unit cancelled 😂 I'm seriously considering holding off on the clomid and telling them I've taken it in the hope they'll then do my lap and I can use it after!

thislittlebird · 26/02/2022 21:22

@Marvellouslymadmum will they be monitoring you? And is there any chance of the lap soon?

Marvellouslymadmum · 27/02/2022 01:16

@thislittlebird just blood tests on day21 and I don't think so, I'll have to go on the waiting list however long that is!

thislittlebird · 28/02/2022 10:18

@Marvellouslymadmum annoying how long it all takes!

Somatronic · 28/02/2022 12:47

@thislittlebird I hope you're feeling better. I've struggled with horrendous migraines since I was put on Dianette for PCOS. Zomig tablets have changed my life. I hope you're doing OK.

I've been waiting for a month to get my IVF protocol. I guess it'll be April before I start now.

kerrym87 · 28/02/2022 16:35

@Somatronic keep bugging them I had to to finalise a date x

CycleGirl20 · 02/03/2022 10:19

@becarefuloutthere how are you? How are you getting on?

becarefuloutthere · 02/03/2022 12:59

@CycleGirl20 hello lovely I'm good thanks. You? I had my baby girl on Saturday! 7lbs7oz and doing really well! Natural labour with a few stitches to boot so I'm recovering well.

Good luck with all your ivf treatments, I hope they go well and you get your bundles of joy soon! Xx

CycleGirl20 · 02/03/2022 13:04

@becarefuloutthere congratulations!! That's such good news. I'm doing well. Had a good scan at 18 weeks last week. No penis to be seen so likely a girl. I'll be so surprised when (s)he arrives, even though I'll have been pregnant for the best part of a year. I think infertility does that to you 😅 Congratulations again 🐣

Annny27 · 02/03/2022 13:26

@becarefuloutthere incredible 💗 congratulations lovely- enjoy the newborn bubble xx

@cyclegirl20 are you keeping the gender a surprise untill birth?

crazycatlady1981 · 02/03/2022 13:52

@becarefuloutthere congratulations!! 💕That’s wonderful news! 🎉🎉🎉

I’m at 10dp5dt and started getting a bit of brown spotting today so I thought I’d hold my wee in and test at lunchtime to check as I’m assuming my period is on the way. Got a squinter on a FRER! I think it’s likely to be a chemical as it’s really faint and my period really feels like it’s on the way, but will keep on with progesterone and test again in a few days!

Annny27 · 02/03/2022 13:55

@crazycatlady1981 I see it!!!!! I know usually at 10dp5dt it woul expect to be a bit darker but you could just have a late implanted!

Sending love and hope ❤️ ❤️

crazycatlady1981 · 02/03/2022 14:20

@Annny27 thank you! ☺️ Tbh just seeing a positive for the first time ever has given me hope, even if it doesn’t turn into anything more, it’s further than we’ve ever got in nearly 5 years! x

kerrym87 · 02/03/2022 14:24

@becarefuloutthere that's so great so pleased for you, think when and if I get there ill not fully believe it and be terrified all the way through!
@crazycatlady1981 my clinic said any spotting etc let them know to check hormone levels, etc might reassure you a bit? X

CycleGirl20 · 02/03/2022 14:38

@Annny27 no, we're keen to know. I just mean, inspire of being 18 weeks pregnant, I'll just be surprised when/(if?) there's actually a baby at the end of this!

Somatronic · 02/03/2022 16:17

@becarefuloutthere many congratulations on your beautiful baby. I hope that you're keeping well xx

@crazycatlady1981 sending you hope that it works out. And yes, it's definitely progress to see a positive for the first time! I nearly got excited at Christmas when I got a positive antigen test because it was the closest I'd been to a positive test Wink

Theawkwardblonde · 02/03/2022 18:45

@becarefuloutthere congratulations! Nice to see another member having given birth. Hope you're both doing well! Enjoy these newborn stages..we're 8 weeks in and they grow/change so much!

Sunbird24 · 03/03/2022 10:36

Hello fellow donkeys, sorry I’m not around much, really glad to see good news from @becarefuloutthere, guess you’re a zebra now!

I’ve got retained products following my ERPC back in Jan so need to find a good time to take my misoprostol, and the genetic testing showed baby was a perfect little boy - think everyone on here and the other bus guessed girl! I’m definitely rubbish at the guessing cos I thought that too, and the previous one was actually a girl and I’d thought it was a boy 🤦‍♀️ Anyway, it’s kind of good news as they’ll now look at trying all sorts of other things to make my body behave for the next two embryos.

becarefuloutthere · 03/03/2022 22:09

Thank you so much for the well wishes and congratulations guys, it means the world! I'm still in shock I have a baby even tho she's here and thriving. Infertility really is the thief of joy so do try and enjoy your pregnancies/baby when it happens. I have to keep reminding myself that she's real and here, although she makes herself known with her cries 😅

@Sunbird24 I like the term zebra 🦓 that's the graduate animal of choice for sure!
You're doing so well and have such a good mindset, I wish you every success for these next two embryos 🤞🏾

kerrym87 · 04/03/2022 11:41

@Sunbird24 thinking of you, I've only just had first failed ivf and it's horrible, really hope you get some answers and what you hope for, hope we all do x

Motherofkittens28 · 04/03/2022 17:41

@becarefuloutthere congratulations!!!! Lovely news
@crazycatlady1981 fingers firmly crossed the line progresses

becarefuloutthere · 04/03/2022 22:07

@Motherofkittens28 thank you 😊 hope you're keeping well still x

Motherofkittens28 · 05/03/2022 08:19

@becarefuloutthere I'm doing ok thanks. 35 weeks today and yesterday was my last day at work. Very looking forward to a few weeks of relaxation before my induction.
