Incredible @crazycatlady1981 :D congratulations!!!!
And yes I took another test yesterday and it was slightly darker but only 15 or so hours after my first test. I decided no more tests (might take a digitial) but I am not agonising over lines anymore 🙏🥳

@marvellouslymadmum thank you! I can't believe it :)

P.s ladies the one thing I did differently this month is keep my feet super warm in tww because warm feet equals warm uterus apparently haha (could be a load of crap but worth a try haha)

crazycatlady1981 · 16/02/2022 09:12

@Annny27 yay! Wonderful! 💕
Right I better get all my thick woolly socks ready for after the transfer!! 😂

paintfairy · 16/02/2022 09:24

@crazycatlady1981 🥳 Great news! I never did the feet thing, but I did do McDonald's! 🤣

becarefuloutthere · 16/02/2022 09:27

@Marvellouslymadmum doing well thank you hun, how are you apart from the wind and bloat? I'm glad they've upped it now tho! Hopefully it does the trick 🤞🏾
@crazycatlady1981 wonderful news!! So very pleased for you ☺️ you have the same number that I had! Get those nighttime socks on and munch on McDonald's chips 🍟
@Annny27 defo agree on not comparing lines too much but doing a digital, that kept me at bay until my viability scan.

Marvellouslymadmum · 16/02/2022 09:39

@crazycatlady1981 that's amazing news! Yay 🤞🏻 for you. I'm not hopeful on this cycle, although I actually ovulated only a few days later on this one it wasn't a strong one and we only managed to dtd that day and day after, all I feel is bloated 😂 I have my progesterone test today so will find out in a couple of days what that's like

@Annny27 I've heard that about warm feet! Tried it before but had no results 🤷🏼‍♀️ but then I never get any

@becarefuloutthere im ok just feeling like nothing will work before it's too late tbh, glad you're doing well

Congratulations on all the eggs collected and fertilised recently everyone! @crazycatlady1981, that's wonderful news, so pleased for you.
@Annny27, amazing, congratulations!
@Marvellouslymadmum I really hope the clomid works for you this time around.
I'm doing ok, just trying to get through work until I finish now

thislittlebird · 16/02/2022 11:28

Just back from the clinic, we did a freeze all because of my breathing issues. Going to do the transfer when I’m feeling better, probably April realistically but I’ve waited this long so I can wait another few weeks.

Out of our 9 that fertilised we got 3 good blasts, one of which is top quality, and two more in addition to the good three that are a day behind. They’ll call us about the two that are slow tomorrow. If we get 5 that would be amazing but 3 is great and that’s also the number we have funded for transfer. We went in with no expectations beyond one really so good news.

becarefuloutthere · 16/02/2022 11:44

@thislittlebird that's fab news! Really pleased for you 😊
@Marvellouslymadmum I know that feeling well. Really hoping this could be your month tho! 🤞🏾
@Motherofkittens28 good to hear you're doing well too 😘

thislittlebird · 16/02/2022 12:13

@becarefuloutthere thanks! It’s hard how slow the process is but I think I’ll feel better knowing I’m not at risk and hopefully this breathing issue will go away in a few days and I can get to a point of feeling healthier before transfer. We also have a holiday to Inverness and Edinburgh booked at the end of march and I’m hoping the transfer will be right after that.

paintfairy · 16/02/2022 13:14

@thislittlebird I really struggled to be honest and i only had 12 eggs retrieved. HCG makes OHSS worse. So it seems like a sensible decision, or it wouldn't be pleasant.

thislittlebird · 16/02/2022 13:29

@paintfairy what sort of ohss symptoms did you have and how long for? It really sucks and I was bricking it that this breathlessness thing would exacerbate if it worked. I had 19 follicles growing, even if only 15 had eggs the right size, I didn't fancy taking that risk

paintfairy · 16/02/2022 13:32

@thislittlebird just discomfort really? Bad bloating. Constipation. Uncomfortable. I thought it was normal. But when I went for my 8 week scan only then was it mentioned! 🙄 By 12 weeks my ovaries were looking more in the direction of normal but that's a long time?!

thislittlebird · 16/02/2022 13:34

@paintfairy yeah that's a very long time, exactly why I was quite hesitant to go ahead with the ET whilst having these symptoms. Not nice.

Marvellouslymadmum · 16/02/2022 14:18

@Motherofkittens28 thank you, glad you're doing well, have you got long left at work?

@thislittlebird I did say on the other thread but really happy for you and hopefully one of those will be your little sticky bean!

@becarefuloutthere thank you, off for my day 21 in a mo so 🤞🏻

@thislittlebird brilliant news on the embryos! 3 is amazing plus the possibility of 2 more!! Good idea to wait if you’re not feeling 100% and get your body back to normal before the fet! 😀

becarefuloutthere · 16/02/2022 16:57

@Marvellouslymadmum best of luck! X
@thislittlebird makes sense, hope all works out how you want x

Motherofkittens28 · 16/02/2022 17:40

@Marvellouslymadmum, no long, two and a bit weeks, finish on 4th March when I'll be 35 weeks. Looking forward to a few weeks of naps before our life changes

thislittlebird · 16/02/2022 20:15

@crazycatlady1981 yeah exactly! Three is what we said we’d like, so that’s a great start. I don’t know if it’s common for the lazy ones to catch up though? Sort of expecting them to say those ones didn’t make it tomorrow.

crazycatlady1981 · 16/02/2022 20:23

@thislittlebird on my last round, I had a blast, and 2 morulas on day 5, one morula turned into a blast on day 6 and was frozen so there’s definitely a chance of them catching up! 🤞🏻

thislittlebird · 17/02/2022 10:57

@crazycatlady1981 you are right, one did catch up! It’s now four we have frozen and randomly she announced two more are still hanging in there so they’ll give them another day but they’re unlikely to make it. It’s such a relief.

becarefuloutthere · 17/02/2022 11:12

@thislittlebird amazing news!! 👏🏾 so pleased for you! ♥️

crazycatlady1981 · 17/02/2022 11:38

@thislittlebird yay! That’s brilliant news!! 😀

CycleGirl20 · 17/02/2022 13:24

Just wanted to drop in and see how you're all doing. Congratulations all on your egg collections.

@thislittlebird that's amazing news. Fingers crossed for April!

@Annny27 congratulations on your BFP!!!

@becarefuloutthere & @paintfairy hope you're both doing well.

I'm 17 weeks currently with a tubbo like belly after our IVF in October/November. I still don't believe I'm pregnant. The midwife checked the heartbeat today so there's defo something in there. I've bought absolutely nothing (except a present for my SIL that I might keep the second part of, but pretending it's for her for now).

thislittlebird · 17/02/2022 17:03

@CycleGirl20 it feels a long way away before I can test one but we’ve got a decorator in next week to paint half the house, and we’re in Scotland at the end of March so I’m hoping it’ll fly by. Not sure if that will mess with the FET planning, I’ll find out nearer the time but hopefully not.

Glad you’re doing well and the scan was good news. Can’t even imagine getting that far Confused. I also would be buying nothing at all. I’ve been waiting since 2019 to even think about baby names and I am still shit scared to give it more than a cursory thought.

CycleGirl20 · 17/02/2022 17:25

@thislittlebird it sounds like you've got a couple of nice plans to focus on instead. That's all you can do really. It is certainly a waiting game.
