@crazycatlady1981 thanks, it’s at 10.30, I’m shitting it a bit 😂. Suddenly got quite nervous today. I think I’m more nervous about the eggs they’ll take out of me than the procedure. Oh and DH and this bloody semen sample he doesn’t want to do at home because of freshness issues and the clinic doesn’t want him to do it there 🙃🙃🙃

@crazycatlady1981 it's 18th. Maybe its my brain protecting me but I don't feel positive at all and like it hasn't worked.
@thislittlebird you might have to pick small dishes at wagamama as you'll be so sore and bloated or get a takeaway, I could barely walk to the car and stand up sit down rest of the day! My sister was same but hopefully better for you. I wasn't too nervous at ec but really scared weirdly when went in yesterday to find out fate of embryos. Think its cos I was on my own . Fingers crossed for you tomorrow x

@kerrym87 thanks! Yeah, that’s my concern! I wasn’t sure how unwell I’d be. Worst case I’ll get a takeaway but the selection near home is not as good as near London Bridge, sadly and I really do want some tasty food.

Yeah that is a nightmare about not being able to do sample at the clinic! You want it to stay as safe and fresh as possible! It doesn’t make sense that they won’t let him do it there! 🤷🏻‍♀️

@kerrym87 the tww is so horrible! I think that was the part I dreaded the most! Try and stay busy and keep positive!! 🤞🏻

@crazycatlady1981 let’s hope that sample was fresh enough for the eggs! I replied to you on the other thread but that’s great news on your scan.

We got 15 eggs, then we went for five guys and now we’re in a cab home. DH’s motility was 18% today which is ok, should be 15 swimmers in there!

Scan today went well, I’ve got about 7 follicles ranging from 11-17mm! EC booked for Tuesday as they want to give me an extra day on stims! Gona eat all the protein this weekend and snuggle up with my hot water bottle to get them growing!! Hoping for at least 5 eggs like last time, but a few more would be amazing!! 😬

@crazycatlady1981 I really hope so, I know we have significant motility issues so I’m worried they’ll all fail.

Good numbers, Tuesday will fly round and you’ll have had all the protein!

@thislittlebird that's great! Have they not suggested icsi with poor motility? That gets completely around that issue

@kerrym87 yeah we are doing icsi, our main issue is low motility for dh. Hopefully some fertilise.

Ok so 13 out of 15 were suitable for fertilisation and 9 fertilised. I barely slept worrying. That’s hurdle one done with, won’t hear anything until we (I’m taking dh whether they’ll let him in or not) go back in on Wednesday now.

@thislittlebird that's great. Yeah take him as hearing news on my own about surviving embryos was harder than I thought, equally you can share good news with him x

@kerrym87 they definitely said they’d allow him to come in because I’m anxious and then the embryologist said he couldn’t just now 🥴. Either way, I’d prefer him to be there so I’ll take him with me.

I tested because I have been hot and also I kinda wanted to move on any enjoy valentines day without thinking am I am pregnant so I wanted to know either way. I cant believe it!!

@Annny27 that's great! Quick get onto doctors for some progesterone! I promised myself I wouldn't torture myself with symptom spotting and tbh my body hasn't felt normal or mine since day 4 of stims and boobs beens sore since before egg collection, knackered throughout and meotions likely down down progesterone and oestrogen they've got me on. Finding this part the hardest, head all over the place and ability to concentrate is shit meaning it's hard to distract.
Feeling so scared of outcome thats more likely (bfn) but also have some hope that will bring me crashing down, its hard not to think about it at all, just feel so negative and overwhelmed. Trying to stay calm and relaxed to reduce stress hormones isn't going well, hard as I'm trying.
We're not allowed to do anything until test day Friday for some pleasant distraction, poor hubby it's been about 5 weeks !
