@crazycatlady1981 that seems like ages away still but it’ll come round fast! I’m back in tomorrow to check on progress. I don’t feel bloated at all, I’m not convinced they’re going to get 10 out of me

I feel fine, all I’ve had is slightly sore boobs, persistent thrush because of the hormones and I also had my ovulation migraine today which is a bit of a worry. At least I think it’s that. Hopefully it’s just the symptoms and nothing actually happening.

@crazycatlady1981 we've got 7 survived the icsi (4 didn't) and going for day 5 blastocyst, hopefully have enough continue to develop to freeze. Just got the awful constipation from progesterone but luckily the swelling and pain from ec is subsiding
@thislittlebird I had ovulation type migraine but at day 4 of stims and a headache for the week which went away and I didn't feel bloated until day 11/12ish more twinges and slightly tender. I had more issues with the antibiotic they gave me as it made ibs bad. Once you start on fyremadel you can't ovulate as it blocks the pituitary from causing the lh surge for ovulation which happens once hormones get to a certain level. It'll be the rising level of oestrogen x

I’m waiting for a call to find out what day my EC will be. I had 19 follicles today but only 12 were over 14mm-21mm so they’re going to call me once the doctor has decided what trigger I need, and they gave me a prescription for buserelin so I have that and ovitrelle here now and will wait to hear which one to use and on which day.

I’m pretty sure my migraine was the usual ovulation one I have and yeah, must be the oestrogen because clearly the follicles are all still in there.

My lining was 11.87mm today and I don’t know what happens with that, does it stay the same? Does is reduce post EC?

@thislittlebird my lining was 10.4mm but it continues to get a little thicker, day 5 is Wednesday they're gona ring tomorrow to let me know what time.
My trigger was a hcg one but i forget what name was, I had some follicles lagging behind at 14-15mm but by continuing 2 days and triggering day 13 collected day 15 they had about 15 follicles to try although a few were empty. Its in their interests to get best outcome for the hfea website rating etc so they'll do what's needed.

Sorry to everyone else not on the ivf train yet, I felt it so much when I was I the station and my train wasn't arriving yet!

@Annny27 they gave me clomid to stimulate stronger and more regular ovulation though it's not worked so far, I'm hoping they up the dose!

@kerrym87 so Wednesday is when you next hear? it’s such a tough process. Fingers crossed but you’ve got a good starting point which is great.

They’ve decided on ovitrelle trigger now, Wednesday night and EC Friday. I’m hoping I’ll be pain free post trigger but we shall see, I know that’s the point some people experience some ohss and I’m on alert.

Yeah, the donkey train certainly was slow moving to even get to this stage.

@thislittlebird unfortunately I just got more uncomfortable up until ec, had ec Friday (you're a week after me!) And yesterday was first day I felt vaguely back to anything like myself. You will be sore, you will get temporary relief from bloating and ovarian pain but it does come back, you'll be very tender and will get constipated. Which results in swelling so keep up fluids, fibre and move little and often as you can. As long as you're not gaining weight and blowing up massively, peeing plenty, not vomiting it'll be normal post ec bloat. I was on lookout for same thing x

@kerrym87 it’s useful to know, I’m already planning to take Thursday off, might make it Monday too.

I started getting shooting pains in my lower back today, have you had those? I don’t love them and it’s day 10 today. I know they’re going to get worse from herein.

Thanks everyone! Can't tag you as for some reason it's not working properly....more nervous than for egg collection! Crunch time to see if we have any embryos to freeze and from now on, not a huge amount of action as if it'll make a home there it will if it doesn't want to it won't......hubby not allowed in this time 😔 but equally short procedure and he can't see it in the theatre anyway. @thislittlebird good luck for scan today (let me tag you! 😂). Setting off in half hour x

@kerrym87 fingers crossed for the embryos, that bit is the worst I’m sure. It’s hard to get our heads round but yeah, it won’t always work and all we can do is hope it does x

I’m not going for scan today, they’ve just told me everything ready for Friday. They’ve said my dh can come to the transfer because I’m anxious, which is nice. Will see what happens post EC. Trigger is tonight.

@thislittlebird I know what you mean, I never thought I'd see it tbh!! I think you can allow yourself to dream and think positively but also do what you need to do to protect your head and heart.
You'll be closely monitored won't you so hopefully all will be well.
So it's McDonald's chips after transfer, think something to do with saltiness or one woman one time swearing it helped. Pineapple core is about now as that's more to do with ovulation and I guess EC is basically that. It's got bromelain in it which is supposed to be good for you. It's helps digestion and inflammation so I can't actually remember why they said it's good for eggs now but can't hurt can it! X

@thislittlebird I was worried but I was fine too, although risk higher up to 10 days post ec apparently but its obvious if you have it they told me just ring the clinic or gynae ooh if any issues.

Had my embryo transfer, turns out hubby could have come onto ward and waited in side room like for ec....😒 so I found out on my own none of the other embryos made it to freeze. Kind of overshadowed the fact I still had one put back which is mad but it was realisation this is my only shot this cycle and I've have to go through it all again if it doesn't work, but would have to wait 6 months. Not sure how I feel right now scared to hope!

@kerrym87 congrats on being PUPO and sorry to hear the others didn't make it. As hard is this is gonna be, please don't let future thoughts take away what you have going on right now. Allow yourself some time to consider what might happen, but then try and focus on the positive outcome of your embryo on board. ♥️

@becarefuloutthere I'm not very good at dreaming and thinking positively, I'll be honest. I'm too scared to hope for a good outcome in the end, I guess.

@kerrym87 oh no, I'm sorry he could have come in and you didn't know. And you had to get the news alone, that's so shit. Is there a reason you have to wait six months? My fingers are crossed for this one, it all feels so harsh how they just drop that on you.

These things aren't easy to hear on your own, I was alone when they told me after egg collection that they only got 1 egg so I fully empathise!

Just focus now on thinking positive and taking it easy
