@thislittlebird I’m going to be on ovaleap for 5 days and then switch to menopur for 6 days. I think it’s normal to have those feelings, I remember last time I started to feel very aware of my ovaries and I only had about 6 follicles in total!

@Marvellouslymadmum good luck with your clomid round 3! 🤞🏻Hope your appointment on 14th goes well!

@crazycatlady1981 thank you! I don't hold out much hope as I'm still on the 50mg but hopefully they'll put it up in 14th for the next round! Good luck with your ivf 🤞🏻

@Marvellouslymadmum I have my next appointment with the fertility consultant on the 15th. Good luck with yours! I'm hoping to discuss 'next steps' as I will have just started my 6th and final round of IVF.

@Sunbird24 how flipping ridiculous! I'd be putting a complaint in as that's just not on!
@thislittlebird I could feel my ovaries from about 5 days stims, now on day 12 and I've got 8 at size (as of yesterday) but they've pushed collection back 2 days to friday! Ots like sitting on a rubber ring, cactus and having a beach ball in there!

@crazycatlady1981 @kerrym87 it’s weird, I don’t necessarily feel the ovaries all the time but since day 1 I’ve felt them for short periods of time throughout the day. Felt them on the left when I had a walk earlier today. Got a blood test tomorrow to see if my meds need to be increased.

@kerrym87 how’s it going?

My bloods came back ok, clinic told me to stay on the 150 gonal f and start fyremadel in the morning. Got to go for my scan on Friday at 9.

@Sunbird24 I did a double trip to the clinic today and thought of you. Went in and they took my bloods, then got home and emailed about when my scan is and they said they took the wrong ones so back I went to London Bridge 🙃🙃🙃. I left home at 7.30 and got back for the second time at 1pm.

@kerrym87 Friday will be here soon enough and you’ll be having the EC! Exciting!

@thislittlebird definitely egg collection tomorrow on my birthday! 😂 midazolam and fantasy party in the morning with a cocodamol chaser!
Tip for fyremadel (i remembered id seen it on here when I'd done 2 thirds if mine) put ice cube in skin a few minutes before as its harder to push needle through (it's bigger than the ones that aren't separate needle i think) and stings/prickles after but ice stops it. X

Sorry it wasn't fantasy party it was meant to be fentanyl, but with sedation it might well be 😂

We did actually use an ice pack on the fyremadel but it was still a bitch. Apparently the stinging is normal for it though so I think I’ll stick to doing it in the thigh. I’m going to ice it afterwards for longer than I did today. Not loving that one 🤨

@sunbird24 how frustrating!! If it was 5 mins away it would be be a problem but it's a long journey! And wasted time. Me and my husband had to go into the hospital (an hour) to sign one form once 🤣

@Annny27 my EC is pencilled in for 14th but last time I needed an extra day of stims so it could easily be 15th or even 16th! That is assuming I get that far! Only on day 2 of stims at the mo! Still a way to go! 😬 How’s your month going? Are you in the tww now?

Ok fyremadel day 2 was better. It bled yesterday so I think we just picked a poor injection site. Found a fleshier bit of the leg today and it was much better, even though it still stings a bit after. Hopefully the drugs got in me either way!

Got my first scan today, ngl I’m a bit nervous in case they’ve not grown or stopped growing. Will find out soon.

Period just arrived here. Oh well.

@thislittlebird I used my belly for injections as I've got loose skin and flabbiness there so worked quite well! I put ice cube on for at least 10 minutes beforehand.
Got 12 eggs although they think only 8-9 are mature. Going to ring this afternoon with how many usable for icsi. OH sperm quality is better, motility is now normal, morphology normal but count still low so impryl and cutting down on booze helped.

@kerrym87 glad it’s done and you got 12! Keep us posted. How are you feeling?

My dh is on impryl too, it definitely does seem to do something but we haven’t done a sample since July so it will be a bit of a test next week!

I went for day 7 scan and had 10/11 growing. Not very high for someone with high AMH/AFC but I’m not on high doses of the meds so maybe that’s normal. Either way, I guess I’d rather 10 decent ones than 20 not so good eggs.

@kerrym87 fingers crossed for good fertilisation rates! I had 8 mature from 12. Enjoy your birthday!

@thislittlebird it's still quite painful, peeing is sore and had an interesting moment when the rectal cyclogest dissolved after about an hour and a half! 😂

@kerrym87 😳 I’ve never had a rectal cyclogest issue to date, there’s still time!

Hopefully a bit less sore today.
