Ttc after miscarriage 🤞🌈✨

Just a thread for any ladies ttc after a miscarriage! Nice to get some support from people going through the same thing. So I had a MMC at ten weeks nearly three weeks ago now. I'm still getting faint positive on tests. My ovulation tests are still all over the place possibly due to the HCG still being in my system. So not totally accurate right now. So I'm currently stuck in limbo land either waiting for ovulation or my period 🤔 any ladies want to join the journey?!?!

Sorry to ask but if this has happened to anyone here how long did it take after your negative tests to bleed? Thank you 💕

@arianasky I'm so sorry. I had positive tests for a few weeks after I even stopped bleeding so I'm not sure! Took a while for my hormones to go back to normal!

@arianasky that sounds like a plan! I've just had my formal return to work meeting and cried...yet again! It's never ending sometimes 😩 xx

Second period since my miscarriage started today. Trying not to symptom spot this time, although the lack of physical symptoms this month did get me thinking hopefully! Looking back over the last week, I had total PMS that I was ignoring (irritable, anxious, tired)...

It's okay though, good to know my cycles are back to normal. Although ask me in an hour and I'll be a sad mess about not being pregnant this month.

@arianasky I'm ok...had the cry and feeling better now. I told myself I'm not going to take my problems to work this year 😐..failed at that! Hope the bleeding isn't too bad for you, can you speak to the GP about what's happened? I've been told progesterone is really good for those who have had a previous MC xx

@arianasky Yes! If it can be brought privately go for it. One of my close friends is a lead fertility consultant and it was her that recommended it ( poor girl - I e bombarded her with questions!) Said they recommend it to all their fertility patients. Start taking it from BFP xx

@calimc83 that sounds a good idea think I might do that next time I'll buy some in a few days for when I do get a BFP, thank you for the advice ❤️

Hi, haven’t posted in a while. We MC Oct and had an MVA on Nov, first period came in Dec , I don’t track ovulation with the sticks but I know In my body when I ovulate so we tried again for the first time in Dec, I’m about 6 DPO but I’m getting cramps, mood swings etc, can’t tell if it’s early signs of pregnancy or if it’s just my cycle settling back in and being a bit strange or I also had my booster so it could be that? I duno. Forgot how painstaking the time between ovulation and period is! Urgh! trying not to test until 3 days after period is late though. I read somewhere recently where you question what’s more painful, period arriving or a neg preg test? For me it’s the latter so I’m trying to hold out!

Sorry to hear of everyone’s loss.

I had a missed miscarriage a few weeks ago and MVA on 18 Dec. Used OPK and got LH surge on 28/29 Dec using clear blue monitor.

Had sex during my fertile window but still been testing positive in pregnancy tests. If I’m still positive this Friday, 3 weeks after surgery, I’ve go contact the early pregnancy unit, but how will I know if I’m pregnant with a new pregnancy? Will they do blood tests?

@Singingloudforalltohear sorry to hear about your loss💕 I had a static smiley about 3 weeks after my D and C in October but I was still testing positive aswell, I wasn't ovulating I think the clearblue test picked up the HCG, I imagine they'll do your bloods first to see if they're going down or increasing 💕

Thanks @arianasky that’s what I wondered, if it was picking up the residual hormones. I had a few low days then it seemed to detect the estrogen increase so showed high for 2 days before detecting the LH surge and going to peak.

I thought I had ovulation pain but actually my cervical mucus didn’t seem right when the LH surge was detected.

It’s all just so confusing. I think I’ll just forget about it until after my first period!

@Singingloudforalltohear sorry you’re going through this! I had an MVA , I still tested positive after 3 weeks but I gave it another week ( was sick of the sight of hosp by this point) and on week 4 it was negative. If you can wait it out it might give you a better idea but failing that yeah I imagine it would be bloods to see if the HCG is going up or down xx

Hi everyone I’ve Mia ascended you in hospital with brain inflammation got out Saturday had fertile cm on Sunday baby danced a lot since I got out my test were negative until yesterday there really faint. I’ve had light pink spotting for two days. I’m waiting on a frer and clear blue for tomorrow I’ve hadv4 faint positive pregnancy tests the past two days

Morning all, I haven't been on here in a while and I've missed so much!! My first period after the mmc started on the 30th December after 4 days of spotting and it has been heavy!! It's now changed to spotting and has been since Tuesday, but it doesn't seem to want to stop yet 😩 It feels like the longest period ever and I just want to get started with TTC again. Does anyone here temp? I started this cycle and I'm hoping it'll help!

Hey @cruz86, this is my second period after miscarriage and it's heavier than last month. Think I still had a small clot or two to pass, but having to change pads quicker than usual.

I had temped before I fell pregnant, and was good to look at the graphs to see what was happening. It's amazing how much our body changes during the month! Since the miscarriage I haven't started again, my sleep patterns are a bit all over the place so don't think I'd get a clear reading just now 😅
