Just a thread for any ladies ttc after a miscarriage! Nice to get some support from people going through the same thing. So I had a MMC at ten weeks nearly three weeks ago now. I'm still getting faint positive on tests. My ovulation tests are still all over the place possibly due to the HCG still being in my system. So not totally accurate right now. So I'm currently stuck in limbo land either waiting for ovulation or my period 🤔 any ladies want to join the journey?!?!

@calimc83 Thursday! Maybe earlier if I get negative lfts! Ooo children do say some weird things it's like they know maybe it's a good sign 😂🤞🙌 what you at now 2dpo? X

@aesgriff I get lots every month so I just can't be ovulating yet but I am only cd 10 so plenty of time 😂🤦 I'm just impatient x

@calimc83 it does drag doesn't it especially the first week. Second not so much as I just test all the time 🤣🙌 haha I keep saying I need to eat better and I have a huge bag or chocolates in front of me and currently debating a takeaway 🤦🙈 I should just go to bed!! X

Ohh it really does....trying to keep busy but it's the evenings when it really consumes you I find..what u thinking of ordering?! 🤤 x

@calimc83 yes thank you, I will call tomorrow, although I was reading they wait until scan has been done before prescribing progesterone so might have to wait. If I get passed 6 weeks I'm booking a private scan! 🤞🏻xx

@calimc83 well it's up to you! Can you hold off not testing 🤔🤣 it's pointless asking me as I'm a poasaholic 🙌🤦

@Skl2021 ideally yes..we're supposed to be having a night away on the 15th ( think AF is due around then) I'd rather hold off till we get home if possible..unless AF decides to show her ugly face first...x

Morning ladies, wondered if anyone had an thoughts on some odd OPKs I have been getting.
I have the purple and pink clear blue digital tests.
I have had the empty circle for a week on the purple one and then suddenly got a static smiley yesterday - I thought a bit odd as surely you are meant to get a flashing one first? It's my first time using the purple ones.
Anyway, I checked again today with my pink test (love POAS!) and it gave me the empty circle.

Is that to be expected, is the surge literally only 24 hours? Or is one of them wrong? Or I suppose, is my body all over the place?

I haven't really seen any EWCM at all either so I'm a bit dubious as to whether it was actual ovulation at all, but POAS every day is an expensive habit lol

Any thoughts v welcome!

@MO22 I haven't used digital OPKs before so I'm not sure about flashing/static 😞 do you temp? That may help to know when you've ovulated x

Also @MO22 I barely have any CM when ovulating so I can't use that as a sign

11dpo - BFN 😞 still spotting as well although temp still high. Going to write this month off and await AF. No EP symptoms either. Lesson learnt: don't test until 14dpo next month!
Time to go and be nice to partner again 🤣

@aesgriff thanks for your reply! I don't BBT as I'm a bit obsessive and don't want to add another option to freak out about ha. I only used OPKs for one cycle, the one I concieved on that sadly ended recently, so thought I'd try them again.

I know what you mean re CM, I used to be able to recognise it but since the miscarriage I feel like I have no idea what is going on with my body!

Sorry to hear about your BFN, thinking of you - there's still a few more days but look after yourself mentally. I'm also potentially 11 dpo, but I won't test til Wed to see what's going on I think, I can't deal with early testing! I had spotting 10dpo but who knows what it relates to! X

Hi @calimc83 currently day 2 of AF, so far it is very similar to what my normal periods are like, bad headaches though, putting it down to hormones! Had a cry last night re. AF and that weird faint FRER line I had but feeling clearer and more optimistic today.

The 2ww is so frustrating, wish you could see inside like an xray to see if anything is happening 🤣

Aw I'm sorry @aesgriff, its so rubbish😟 I agree with you re. the early testing! Its so hard though when you just want to know!!💕

@Sparklesurprise29 glad you are feeling a bit better today. I think the cry's are to be expected after what we've been through. Hope the rest of AF is ok x

@claremc1983 yes I am I don't post often on here though, I know 😞 the drs is ringing me sometime this morning I still haven't bled but I git a fainter FRER this morning but a darker clearblue which is strange? I'm not feeling optimistic at all though I'm heartbroken already I feel like I just know 😔
