becaroo - increased discharge (leukorrhoea) is a definite pregnancy symptom - see here

MsSparkle well, it's been at least two weeks since you did the deed so a PG test should be accurate as of today (it's rare but possible that some women don't show up till they're a week late). You could try doing another test today, or you could wait a couple more days to see if AF comes. Sounds like you're having another long cycle...if you're getting cramps then it's likely that you're in the second half of your cycle. What about your CM?

I've had AF cramps for about 5 days now, getting worse, and it resulted in a really early BFP so I must have had an early implantation (I think it was all the coughing I was doing after ov...I reckon I coughed it out of my fallopian tube!).

When i tested with my first pregnancy i did so when i was 2 weeks late and i had a strong metalic taste in mouth. I used a first responce test last Thursday. What does CM mean?

If i do get AF this time, i just hope my cycles settle down before we start trying again in May! I have only had 1 AF since coming off the pill last October and it will be a nightmare ttc if i don't know when i am ov.

Cervical Mucus . During my long cycles I often confused AF cramps/PG symptoms with Ovulation cramps. I'd get lots of EWCM (egg white cervical mucus, signifies you're fertile) and think it was a PG symptom...not realising I was supposed to be BD'ing. Just wanted to rule it out.

So your options are:

  1. Late ovulation, BD resulted in pregnancy...but not implanted yet.
  2. Late ovulation, BD didn't result in pregnancy so AF will come today/tomorrow.
  3. No ovulation yet, so could still be waiting to ovulate or you may just go straight to AF and have an anovulatory cycle (as I did last cycle).

If no AF this week, could be worth going to see your Dr.

Good luck MsSparkle. I hope you get an answer soon.

If you're not going back to TTC till May, then it's a really good idea to chart your temperatures during your non-ttc months, and get to know when you ovulate. I recommend reading 'Taking Charge of Your Fertility' by Toni Weschler. It's really informative and takes a lot of the uncertainty out of TTC.

I just did one of those online ovulation tests to see when i would have ovulated based on a 39 day cycle.

It said if the first day of my last AF was the 6th Dec then i would have ovulated between the 27th and the 31st of Dec (that was the week dp and i had unpretected sex) meaning i should expect my Af or a BFP on the 14th Jan (tomorrow!.)

So if AF doesn't come tomorrow i will test Tuesday morning!

Ok so i am gonna gross you out now but i have been having a bit more CM the last couple of days. I noticed it yesterday but didn't think anything of it until i was just reading about CM.

I have discovered that when your ov the CM is like uncooked egg white (yuck!) so i know my CM isn't because i am ov. My CM is only a little bit but quite creamy and white (i actually touched it.)

So what does this mean then or am i just being silly?

Becaroo I am so thrilled for you (and everyone else of course). Becaroo in particular as we were both on the due Aug thread and sadly had to leave.

But onwards and upwards to happier days.....hopefully one day in the not too distant future I'll be getting that BFP too! xxx

thanks for all the congrats - and lovely to hear from twilight and libralady who were with me during those confused, emotional and desperate early days of ttc.

JB we're still officially cycle buddies (should've put CD33 on the list), so will be keeping an eye out for you

Cycle buddies Kate and Emmsy any news ? I have also had the whole dehydrated thing going on so hopefully that is a good sign for us both Kate
Well am starting to feel quite hopeful this cycle as CD35 and no sign of af atall (usually have several days of spotting and my longest cycle has been 35 days...) not sure when will test - probably soon. DP said we should wait a few days but am going to give blood on Tue so need to know one way or the other by then... am very apprehensive about testing..

Could just be me being paroniod but i feel different today. I have abdominal pains but they feel different to how they normally feel too. Could just be me though. The CM is really playing on my mind as it's thick and really white but there isn't much of it?
