Hello hope you can find me I'm off to get the list.

OP posts:
cricri · 12/01/2008 07:31

MrsEi Sorry AF got you - perhaps this cycle was longer because ovulation was delayed over Xmas etc? I've read that stress can cause delay so your lengthier could be down to that. I'd go with your previous cycles and consider this one as an exception unless the trend continues.
Fruitloop Hope you managed to tear your DH away from the screen for some BDing
Hope everybody else is OK - I'm away this weekend so I'm sure I'll have lots to catch up on tomorrow night.
Anybody testing today? Good luck if you are and hope everybody has a good weekend.

cricri · 12/01/2008 07:32

I meant lengthier cycle! In too much of a hurry...

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 08:44

Morning all

Sam I hit 6 weeks and bang! Literally wake up one day with what looks like a 5 month pregnant belly. Last time, with DS2 I was convinced I must have been a lot further on than I thought or it was twins! This time Monday morning (the day I MC'ed!) I woke up with it, went from my much loved size 12's (which I'd been trying to get into since having DS2) straight back up to my size 18's which I had after I had DS2, with the button un-done!!! And the bump is still here getting bigger by the day, am sat in hubbies shorts at the moment because nothing else will go round me. I loved having a big bump with DS2, but this just seems cruel after the MC. I am still even getting the little stretchy feelings and movements that you get in early pregnancy, which is helping to keep it all at the front of my mind.

Anyway MrsEi sorry about AF, she is always such a let down

Hope you all have a good weekend

fruitloop79 · 12/01/2008 08:58

Um, NJ - is that normal? I had a MC at 6 weeks when I was quite young 16 so I can't remember much about it. I'm sure that didn't happen though
Are you sure you haven't still got one in there?

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 09:08

Some people on here who have been through it say the bump will go down when my hormones have gone back to normal.

I have managed to stay away from the docs, didn't want to see a BFP when I knew nothing was there, and everything has come away (could see which bit was what IYKWIM?) Don't really want to have to go to the doc's now.

My family have a history of MC's so I was always kind of expecting to have to go through it as well.

And yes I have thought perhaps there is still one in there, but TBH if I start building my hopes up for that and then it doesn't happen it will be almost as bad as another MC, and I don't feel ready to go through all of that just that. If there is one in there, I am sure it will become fairly obvious soon enough, but since there probably isn't one in there, I just have to carry on.

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 09:10

Just yet, not just that

fruitloop79 · 12/01/2008 09:14

hi ya everyone !!!

natalie jane oh my god your belly must be big if you went from a 12 til a 18 !!!
i think you should get checked out as it does not seem right!!

hi ya fruitloop and cricri any gossip???

feel alot more positive today dont no why but i do !!!!

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 11:12

It is big, has led to lots of comments at school like 'oooo no.3 on the way?' 'Is that wind blowing up your coat' some infront of DS1 which I was very about, so I have had to tell almost strangers that I've MC. Been a very hard week by all acounts.

But, I know the bump doesn't mean anything is wrong now, I was exactly the same with DS2 woke up one morning and there it was, only problem then was that I didn't have any bigger trousers, I had to tie my jeans together with a hair band and rush into town to get something bigger lol, it is funny looking back now but at the time I was so worried I'd be walking round town and the hair band would snap or something lol.

Oh never I am so sorry - she is evil . It is esp hard when you have symptoms and get your hopes up - I will be gutted too this month of BFN as also have tingly nips and huge thirst (although you have just proved these can mean nothing !). Have been getting very mild cramps ocassionally for over a week now but no spotting or proper pre-af cramps as yet... It is so confusing as 2 weeks ago I was convinced was not ovulating but here I am symptom spotting like mad getting my hopes up

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 16:35

Sorry about AF never fingers crossed she hasn't actually arrived and you are crabby due to early pregnancy

I can't believe that in the 2 years I haven't been on a TTC board, it hasn't changed a bit! Everyone of us symptom spotting and calling AF all the names under the sun, brings it all back from last time

I remember last time one of the girls got her AF and was still symptom spotting, TTC can do weird things to your head! Can't wait to get back to it properly LOL

fruitloop79 · 12/01/2008 18:13

Right, Agnus Castus question. Am I right to believe you should only take it up till Ov?

I bought some today. 1000mg. Says on bottle, '2 per day, pref with meal' but nothing else.

I'm on CD20 today so am I best to wait till CD1?

fruitloop79 · 12/01/2008 18:14

Could be a long wait BTW

sambrads · 12/01/2008 18:19

hi ya fruitloop how are you ??

i dont raelly no much about agnus castus but i suppose you could start taking it to get it into your system for your next cycle!!!

so sorry never to hear about af she is a real cow!!!!!

BabyFever · 12/01/2008 18:52

Well I have been very patient and tested on day 31 of a 29/30 day cycle and I have got a bfp. Very excited but also a bit scary (it's my first).

I have always found it really helpful to read the symptoms of those who have got a bfp so here are mine (not many mind!)

Mild cramping for a couple of days about a week after ovualtion. A few kind of sharp pains though my boobs, but they were not tender or sore. And on cd 30 i couldn't stand the taste of tea. oh, and I have felt moody in a pmt way.

no sickness, no excessive weeing or any tiredness.

and I hardly any any ewcm this month.

All the best to everyone else

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 19:10

Congratulations Baby

How exciting, my first BFP since being back on TTC threads

sambrads · 12/01/2008 19:54

congrats baby!!!!!!!!!

so exciting but also scary !!!

thanks for the list of symptoms!!!

LobstersLass · 12/01/2008 19:56

Many congratulations BabyFever, pass some of your luck this way, please!!

fruitloop79 · 12/01/2008 20:42

"Congratulations, and celebrations, la la la la......." sorry I don't know the rest. No really babyfever that's fabtastic news, only on 2nd cycle too! . Give us some of that luck!

fruitloop79 · 12/01/2008 20:43

I did actually mean to type fantastic! I'm not some 80's pop DJ, I promise!

fruitloop79 · 12/01/2008 21:11

Hi sam do you reckon its ok to start the Agnus castus now then?

I still don't know. I might wait till CD1 of next cycle.

Oh yeah, I know what I was gonna ask,

A cervix question: Where should it be at what time of the month? All I know is it should be either high or low. Enlighten me please someone
