Hello hope you can find me I'm off to get the list.

OP posts:
mibbes · 08/01/2008 18:24

becaroo I think 10 days in usually the earliest and first wee of the day is best so maybe tomorrow morning would be a good plan ?...

becaroo · 08/01/2008 18:28

Not exactly sure when I ovulated...Crikey, this is complicated!!

I tested with a CDB this afternoon and it was a BFN....Just wondered if it was too early.

Should I test again if Af hasnt arrived by friday?????

mibbes · 08/01/2008 18:41

becaroo if you will be late by then I guess that would be a good idea. It is safest to wait until you are due/late if you can hold out that long - reduces the chance of further BFNs which are rubbish.

mibbes · 08/01/2008 18:49

Oops forgot to reply to my cycle buddy - too busy yapping to becaroo !
Kate if no af by this weekend 12/13 will test then as that would make me late - although amy af can be a bit of a lottery so who knows.. anyway still no spotting or af, very slight cramps but that is all.. am rubbish at waiting, am soo impatient . Good to hear you are taking Zita's advice - I have her book too but not finished it yet, or haven't read that bit - tend to skip to the good bits !

becaroo · 08/01/2008 19:10

Thanks mibbes x

digitalgirl · 08/01/2008 19:47

shreksmissus hee hee, nope it wasn't my ewcm...this cycle's batch stretched much longer than that or is that tmi?

anyway, have been noticing some 'symptoms' today, followed by furious googling to find out the earliest dpo for implantation. apparently it's 6 days but that's very rare - only in about 5% of women. the normal range is 8-12 days.

here's an interesting site about hCG (which is what causes PG symptoms)

according to FF I'm still 3 days away from experiencing genuine symptoms. so just got cramps for no reason then .

Biglips · 08/01/2008 19:51

OMG!!

Digitalgirl - that piccy of the EWCM!!!! ....i never had the EWCM that thick!! mine was just a very thin bit of it and was never 100% clear, also had a tiny teeny weeny stretch in it!!

(sorry for TMI!!)

fruitloop79 · 08/01/2008 20:23

check out THIS website! everything you need to know!

fruitloop79 · 08/01/2008 20:26

Guaranteed to bring excitement to BD-ing

sambrads · 08/01/2008 20:45

what is a conception cap fruit loop????

did you see what she wassaying that she was annoyed that she was preggars wit a boy oh how disappointing !!!!! not!!!!!!!!

i was so mad i cant believe someone would say that!!!!!

well i think my cm is like that at the moment oh fruitloop 8 cycle lucky i hope i just cant cope any more its terrible fell like giving up so i dont have to see that NOT PREGNANT again !!!!

how did you get on last night ???
lot of bedding i hope haha

fruitloop79 · 08/01/2008 21:14

check out that link and all will be revealed! ha ha.

Yeah a bit annoying but hey ho we're all allowed to be a little selfish now and again. Maybe a little insensitive of her though. I just try and stay clear of those threads. Much as I'd love a little girl next, beggars cant be choosers and just to be pregnant for most of us would be a miracle! I've decided if the next one's a boy, I'm gonna dress him up in pink monsoon dresses - he'll never know! .

Re last night - very nice thank you. How long do you reckon you need to stay legs up for?

fruitloop79 · 08/01/2008 21:18

oh and DONT give up. You've only just started on Clomid. Give it time now you're on it It WILL happen, probably sooner than you think x

Emmsy1 · 08/01/2008 21:25

Hi girls, hope everyone has a happy ++++ new year! {{{{waves at mibbes as still cycle buddies!}}}}
My AF still hasn't arrived and I'm certain I haven't 'O' yet as temps have mostly been low! and 4xPreg tests all negative!
I think too much drinking before/during/after christmas has delayed my 'O' I only had my EWCM on 7th Jan?? and it was twice the size of Digi's pics?? sorry if tmi
welcome to all the newcomers, hope 2008 brings you good news!

LuckyBucky · 08/01/2008 21:45

MissusH · 09/01/2008 10:23

Hi all, been lurking more than posting recently (post christmas catching up at work - my company so make me earn my hols ) so hope all of you are well

Nothing much to report here - had loads of ewcm on Fri/Sat/Sun so had loads of bd'ing to go with it so think I am now on the 2ww... I have been managing not to obsess so far (tbh am so busy I haven't really had a chance which is a good thing)

Fruitloop lol at the conception cap. What a cack lovely job emptying the collection sheath into the cap. Would you need to ask dh to put it in for you??? Have visions of a "hostile vaginal environment" - is it armed and dangerous, do sperm have to crawl in a commando stylee to get past the guards?

twinklingfairy · 09/01/2008 10:29

HI all,, thought I would share the bad news that my granddad passed away last night
He had a minor heart attack on the 2nd and a few more turns since. He was on quite strong drugs to help with the pain and the anxiety when he became breathless.
He was ready to go and was making quips about that being the case why coudl he not get stronger drugs and that morphin was not all he had heard it to be
But he was the last of true gentlemen and he will be mised sorely by us all.
I believe he went peacefully and accepting the decision of God.
His family were around him and he had said his goodbyes, though not literaly, he wouldn't want to frighten.
I am feeling a bit numb about it all. My mum phoned me this morning, waking me at 9am ( I know, shame on me, I really should have been up) and I took the news calmly. She told me that both my brothers and sister had cried immediately. Am I heartless??
I think I was expecting it every day since he went into hospital and part of me was hoping for it, as I didn't want him to have to continue his life stripped if his dignity and independance which he was rapidly losing. And he made us all aware, for a few years now, that he was ready o go and was tiring of this life, so keen to see his wife again.

I have had a little cry, my sister will be in pieces and I am surprised by both my brothers reactions.

Have posted this on the symptom spotters too.

I just felt that I share so much with you all that I needed to share this too.
Thanks guys, for your eyes

MissusH · 09/01/2008 10:41

twinklingfairy sorry sorry to read this.

You are not heartless - people accept bad news in different ways the same as people grieve in different ways. Feeling numb is your way of coping with the shock. And although it may start to feel a lot more raw it will get better - just don't worry about grieving in the "right" way (iyswim?) Do what you feel is right and you will come through it.

I had a very simliar experience when my grandad died just over a year ago. He had had an op and was in ICU. We had the call to say he was very poorly and we should come in. I felt the same as you in that I wanted him to go sooner rather than later - I hated seeing him wired up and being helped to live etc.

It sounds as if your grandad was a calm and lovely man who knew he was poorly and had made his peace. Take comfort that he was looking forward to seeing your grandma again and that he is no longer in any pain. Remember him as the true gent he was and think about the happy times you shared.

take care {{hug}}
