Anyone want to join? I'm 34 and TTC #1. 2DPO and managed to only DTD twice as we were travelling for our honeymoon. Only using OPK's at the moment but may start temping in the next few months if no luck.

How's your week been?

AF has just pissed off so everything's good here, although feeling a bit drained but I had a B12 injection today so hoping that perks me up!

Our house Reno is in full swing now, walls came down and have now started going back up. I wake up in the middle of the night with random ideas and plans so maybe this is why I'm feeling drained!

Where is everyone in their cycles? Xxx

Hope your reno is going well. We did a full house one at the start of this year. It was totally mental but so worth it! Really relate to the middle of the night ideas, feel like I constantly had a tape measure in my hand and would wonder around staring at walls 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣

I'm 7dpo today! Feel a bit different this TWW. I don't have hardly any of my normal pms symptoms. Like sore nipples etc. Not sure if that means anything.. I also feel like my sense of smell might be heightened but it's quite hard to tell 🤔 I'll be able to test in around a week! 🙏🏼

@Leibee87 you never know! You're still in the game unless AF shows! :)

Hey @MrsYan ! That's so exciting! Wish I was at the same stage as you - renovating our house! We were hoping to buy next year but with prices skyrocketing we decided not to rush and just save as much as possible and hopefully there will be a dip in the market when we're ready! Initially we were not going to try for a baby before we get a house but in the circumstances, it's just not worth putting away as obviously, we really want a baby :)

But I loveee anything interior design so I'm jealous you get to do that! 🤩

It's CD12 for me so I should be ovulating in about 5 days if my cycle remains unchanged 😄 but we are already getting down to business lol no time wasted this cycle!

It came back up again this morning back to what it was at peak so maybe just maybe. I don't know if that's normal or not as it is the first month doing btt. Currently 5/6dpo. Boobs have stopped hurting. Idk had some pulling pains but they seemed to have passed and feel like I had that last cycle too. We shall see.

@BeatAroundTheBush hope your appointment with the doctor helps you get to the bottom of what's going on with your AF. Don't let them get away with not looking into it properly. They should at least do a blood test to see what your hormones are doing. Good luck!

Hey everyone, sorry for the late reply. I did not have a good week at work... it went Pete tong and long story short I think I have had everyone head of area upwards to CEO call me to check I'm ok etc 😩🙄 never understand why some people can be so horrible.

@CatLady93 omg tell me ever everything about your Reno?! How long did it take? Where's your kitchen from? 😂😂 I'm so nosy! How are your symptoms now? Have you tested yet?

@Peauela waiting sounds like a good idea, house prices are mental atm. Luckily our offer was accepted just before prices shot up. The sellers did try and pull out the week before completion as they knew they could get more money 💰 🙄

Hey @MrsYan! So sorry to hear about your week at work, it sounds horrendous!! Hope you're ok??

Reno: It took about 14-15 weeks. We didn't do an extension but we re-wired, re-plumbed, re-decorated, knocked some walls down, replaced some ceilings, new windows/doors, new kitchen/bathrooms etc. It was rather horrendous I have to admit BUT so worth it. Kitchen is from Wren, do not recommend at all!! Quality is pretty bad and customer service after you've paid is shocking. I hear amazing things about Howdens though. If you want a posh kitchen I've heard great things about Devol and Neptune 😀

I'm 11dpo today, haven't tested yet! Going to see if AF comes 😬

They do say apparently that nothing makes you more fertile than renovating a house 🤣🤣 So go for it I say!! 👶🏼

@CatLady93 I'm ok now thank you. A section of the company I work for are going through Tupe atm. They transfer out soon. I am the easiest person to lash out at so I have had it from all angles this week, while being super busy anyway!

Yours sounds just like what we are doing! No external building work but everything already there is being ripped out and redone.

Lol... we placed our deposit on our Wren kitchen today 😂😩😳 we went for Infinity plus Milano in Satin Pencil, Quartz marble worktops etc. Oh god I hope it doesn't turn to shit now... DP will not cope lol.

@MrsYan It's a bit of a run down two bed. It will need work.. Definitely a new bathroom (we will need a wet room) but it's habitable just applied for our mortgage yesterday hopefully it will all go through to move in January (can't be dealing with moving before Christmas). I'll follow your insta.

Sorry work has been stressful. Never good. Lots of self care for those stressful days.

9dpo today AF due Friday. I may waste a test tomorrow. DH wants me to test but I did tell him it would be early. Bbt has been all over the place. Definitely November's plan is to test same time each day. I'm only an hr out either side but i think it makes a difference. November as well we gotta try and make sure we dtd every other day rather than just weekends/fertile days) and maybe do it after ov too just incase.

@MrsYan Gosh that sounds really stressful! Oh god so sorry for being so neggy about Wren!! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Honestly our main problem was paint finish on our shaker kitchen, if you're getting a Milano I actually think you'll be ok. We also had a custom colour which I think confused things. One bit of advice would just be to check everything's there when it comes/tick it off as it comes it sorta thing. There'll likely be a few bits missing but they do send them fairly quickly after. We've got Quartz marble style worktops - they're fab and the guys that fabricate for Wren are great so you're in luck there!

Anyway - back to babies! 12dpo today. Luteal phase usually 12 days so would be expecting AF tomorrow. Usually have lots of spotting before AF but not had any. But a BFN on a FRER this lunch time. Not sure what to think at the mo but I feel ok if it doesn't happen this time. I'll allow myself a little blub and then crack on haha 🤣

When do you usually ovulate? Not too long to go hopefully? 😀

@Leibee87 Thank you 😊 AF due tomorrow, usually spot but nothing just yet. BFN on a FRER this lunch time. We only dtd once during my fertile window as I got 2 peaks this month, all a bit confusing! I was really stressed one week so I think it pushed my ovulation back.

I think this cycle (presuming I'm not pregnant), I'm going to focus on just eating well, getting some regular exercise and keeping myself in good check mentally too! I'm quite overweight and I get LOADS of EWCM so I feel like I may have high estrogen, so I've ordered a test on Let's Get Checked to see.. if I do I'll have to shift some lbs I think. Such fun 🤣

How are you feeling symptom wise?

@CatLady93 I got a couple of negatives later on in the day before I got a positive first thing in the morning! And then even after my first positive my next test was negative. Wishing you all lots of luck!!

My boobs are sore and I'm tired but not too much nausea yet. I'm betting in kicks in next Saturday during wedding party! Or maybe I've just been lucky and skipped it? But apparently it's a sign things are going well so I almost wish I was a bit nauseous. I'm 6 weeks now and it absolutely doesn't feel real and I think I'll be terrified at the first scan.

@AlbatrossSociety Bless you!! I think everyone varies so differently. My mum didn't find out until she was 16 weeks that she was pregnant with me. No symptoms whatsoever! Have you thought about doing an early scan for reassurance? I know they can be pricey though x

I ovulate on CD 18/19 so 7/8 more days 🙌🏼 not long at all!

@MrsYan, yeah I tested BFN and then I realised I had bled. Super light though so don't know if this is CD1 or what. Af is due Fri. See what unfolds this week. Cried so much. Feels so silly but yeah. DH is just like chilled. Which is probably good when I'm a bit of an emotional wreck 😂

In all honesty I don't know know. I have never got spotting. I don't have period pain really just a bit of an ache. Nothing is on the pad it's just when I wipe but then Af is usually light at first so we shall see.

@MrsYan Had the tiniest bit of spotting now but like you'd need a microscope hahaha. I could've ovulated a day later so maybe AF due Tuesday instead? Mmmm! Going to see what the situation is tomorrow, if there's no heavier spotting or AF, then I'll test with FMU on Tuesday I think 🤔
