Month 1, TTC #1

Anyone want to join? I'm 34 and TTC #1. 2DPO and managed to only DTD twice as we were travelling for our honeymoon. Only using OPK's at the moment but may start temping in the next few months if no luck.

Hey @MrsYan ! I'm sorry to hear that 🥲 I can relate! Not sick but stresses from work, so much to do and I also felt like this month could be THE month but temps have already dropped and I'm cramping like crazy so I'm expecting AF to arrive anytime. I got really upset this time around.

Ahhh it's so crap isn't it 😞😞😞 I wanted to be pregnant at Christmas so I could tell all our family on Xmas day. Sounds silly but I had it all planned out! Hope you are ok xx

@MrsYan not silly! I was hoping for same.. my family is coming over this year (we live abroad) and it would be so nice to tell them in person.. wishful thinking on my part !!!!

Honestly I wasn't expecting it to be so hard! I started this journey thinking "no rush we have time" but really the longer it takes, the more I wonder if there's something wrong with me 😅

@MrsYan @Peauela it’s crazy isn’t it, every month we try I look at when I’d be due, when I could tell people and always think of things like that! It’s so hard isn’t it! I haven’t been trying long but I want it to happen so much, I’m so impatient!

@Peonies94 yes! Which is not what I expected of myself at all. We got married in July and said we'll start trying right after, we actually started trying in July before the wedding without tracking but it quickly turned into a bit of an obsession for me 😂 this was my second cycle tracking so I know it's really just the beginning and there are many things I can improve before I start worrying but I feel like this is just the way female brain works 😂 we can't help it.

I also started Pregnacare last month and it elongated my cycle for some reason, I'll give it another month but if it continues happening I will have to swap to something else next month.

Anyway, to whoever is still due to test - hope you get your positive.

TMI but as I was typing it on the toilet, finished and literally wiped to welcome AF 😂 b*tch is here again 😂

@Peauela @Peonies94 it's honestly not fun getting AF when you have been so hopeful all month.

I'm not feeling very positive this month as think the time I'm not with DP due to the renovation is going to be my FW 🙄🙄 typical!

It's stressful, only month two but feel like taking a step back already! Why when I didn't want to get pregnant did I just have sex once... while on the pill may I add... and bang pregnant straight away and now that I do want to be with pregnant it seems impossible?! My ovaries are pissing me right off.

I hope I feel happier when AF goes away 😂😂 whats everyone got planned this week/weekend? I'm meant to be going to a wedding Friday night... I don't wanna go so will have to drag myself there for DP as it's his friends wedding xx

@Peauela sorry AF turned up... we really are cycle friends 😂 within hours of each other!

@MrsYani guess we really are! 😂 i love it 😂 I would say just enjoy yourself on the weekend and we'll back on it again in a week or two 🤞🏻 I was really upset yesterday but feeling a little better now. I'll be busy at work for the month of November so hopefully that will take my mind off things for a while. I still hold onto hope that I will be pregnant by the end of this year... have one cycle left tho so I better do everything right 😂

I am good thank you, I did not have a very good week last week. I had Vertigo 😵‍💫😵‍💫 and AF making an appearance really upset me. But I am back at work, and feeling much better! Although I have to concentration span of a goldfish which isn't helpful! How are you?

I am CD8 today, I am not temping BBT religiously this month as I cba really. Just gunna be more chilled I think. Are you still the same as me? Xxx

@MrsYan still same! CD 7 here! AF was absolutely brutal, the pain was unreal, like it wasn't enough she appeared she had to make a grand entrance 😂

I'm more chilled this month as well, I'm still going to test and temp but I think I need to learn not to obsess over getting pregnant because then I'm just too disappointed 😅 also definitely not testing until AF due this time around!

Hope we'll get our Christmas gifts 🎁

Oh no! AF is such a witch. I'm quite lucky I don't really get pains or anything with af. It's not heavy or anything either... I just don't want it atm lol it's horrible being disappointed isn't it. I am also not going to test until AF is due.

What day did you ovulate on last cycle? I'm hoping I ovulate on CD14 again.

@MrsYan my ovu was late last cycle, CD21, so I hope this cycle it'll be back to normal which would be around CD17. I will start testing in two days.

I'm so busy at work the only plans I have for my evenings is to go to sleep 😂😂😂

@Peauela ah no, any idea why you ovulated later?

I have just entered my fertile week... on my way to see DP as I was back home for work but I soon changed my plans when I looked a FF 😂😂😂

How was your week? What do you do for work?

My work has been manic the last couple of months but just found out I'm receiving a nice big bonus for all my hard work so I don't even care that I almost killed myself doing it now lol! Xxx

@MrsYan I started taking pregnacare supplement and I've read that for many people it messed up their cycles but I'm willing to give it more than one cycle and not panick 😃

I'm a legal executive in a criminal practice and we have a few big trials coming up so I'm also extra busy 🥲

CD12 today so hopefully won't be long until I reach my peak. I'm not obsessing much this cycle and taking it easy. We'll see what happens ☺️

@Peauela ah yeah I have heard it can lengthen your cycles!

I am CD14 today and just had my peak opk. So almost in the TWW. Exciting! How's your week going?

I ovulated on cd15 again, so currently 8dpo.... af due Sunday! Actually gone quickly tbh, keeping my fingers crossed!

@MrsYan Yes unfortunately another long one 😭 but I stopped taking the supplement and hopefully all will return to normal.

@MrsYan honestly I only noticed my cycle being messed up and neon yellow pee 😂😂

Same with tiredness! I'm going to try to test after AF due date but I'm not holding much hope for this month - we took it easy and we are much more relaxed this time around - but I know disappointment will be the same if it's not our month
