@hoola23 I can definitely see the line in the picture. What day are you testing. I'm really hoping it's early for you and will get a BFP

@FirsttimeEm how many dpo are you currently then chick? I'm only 6 and I swear this is the longest TWW ever! Did you have any symptoms? I'm trying not to symptom spot but it's so hard 😔😔

I got a faint positive last cycle which turned out to be a real positive but then a chemical. Think that's what you mean!!

Have you told your other half yet!!

@CShandy01 I'm 13DPO had a very very faint positive on 11DPO. I have had cramps which I thought was my period and have started to notice nausea after eating

@hoola23 I feel like the kids at school when they do something wrong 😂😂 "sorry Miss I didn't mean to symptom spot!" 🤣 so bloody hard though. Deffo not googling as much as I was the times though so that's positive!

@CShandy01 🤣🤣🤣 I'm only saying this as I'm 1dpo tomo. You can get me back next week when I start asking questions🤣
My only "sign" last month was a sore throat at 6/7dpo but not everyone gets that so it's prob really unhelpful🤣🤣🤣

@hoola23 see don't get my hopes up as I was saying to DH that my throat was hurting yesterday and today at 5-6dpo, but then equally that's a sign of COVID and I have been in touch with a lot of kids at school. Although I have done a lateral flow test and it's negative 😂

@CShandy01 this is how it begins with the symptom spotting 🤣🤣 mine started off as a really sore dry throat that then went to very mild cold symptoms. Just throat and stuffy nose and that was what convinced me. ESP as no one else caught it. Your immune system lowers for implantation so that's always a good sign BUT equally with every symptom it also doesn't necessarily mean you're pregnant 🤣🤣 so who knows! But I really hope this is your month!!!!!

@hoola23 ugh gooddddd I haaaaate this TWW! Right ok I'm going to not ask about anyone else's symptoms or even talk about my own. That's it until AF shows in a week's time! 🤣 types "what do people experience at 6dpo before BFP" into google 😂😂

@CShandy01 hahahhahaha you crack me up! We never learn do we. It really is so addictive! We just become these crazed women at around 6dpo even though we do the same thing Every month!! I blame the hormones and I also think it's because the weeks before we're obsessing over opk. And you didn't do that this month so I"lol let you off with mild google searches 🤣

Talking of google searches. Super awkward last night as DSD came upstairs to ask me if I was pregnant! Told her no, and I'd tell her if I was etc etc but she said her laptop had "4 weeks pregnant" google searches so I must have been signed into her google account on my iPhone so it displays on her laptop. Didn't even realise that was a thing! Managed to swerve it and reassure her that even if I was it wouldn't change anything etc etc but it totally caught me off guard! @newtolineofduty how did you tell your step kids about new babies coming along? It actually terrifies me as I know the elder daughter is going to be fuming but very indirectly as she's slightly introverted. Literally dreading that convo when it has to happen

Oh wow @hoola23 sounds like you handled it really well!!!!! So DSC we're only 4 and 6 and we'd already told DPs ex so she had the heads up! We showed them a scan picture and asked them to guess what it was etc. They were mega excited though and we knew they would be so it all felt fine. Much easier with little ones I think hun x you sound like a lovely person though hun I'm sure you'll do a great job of telling them! Xxx

@newtolineofduty yeah so much easier when there little I think! 14& 12 both girls so I know it's going to be really tricky. The younger one is ok about it. DH has been prepping them and giving that reassurance. When she came up last night she spoke about feeling excited if I was. She said even though she might feel a bit jealous, she sees me with my nieces and how much I love them and that she wants me to be happy and knows that I want one of my own one day. She has such a good heart, it's very cute! She also loves looking after all the babies in the family. She just said that she would feel a bit jealous when she has to go home to her mums if we had a baby but I think that's partly due to her mums not always being a happy place. I just said we don't like it when you have to go back to mums and even though I'm not your mum, I think of you as my own and we just become a family of 5 if I do have a baby which she was ok with

The elder one is already going through those teenage sullen moods over everything and she is just a lot more difficult to relate to. She's at that age where everything is a problem/issue and I envisage her just storming off when the convo happens! I know she will feel jealous but she would never admit to that. I think after time, she would be ok. It's the fear of the unknown for her

@hoola23 sounds like you had a lovely chat with the youngest hun! I think teenage girls are always abit scary lol! If she wasn't upset about that it'd be something else! All you can do is your best hun but I can imagine all would be good when the baby arrived! No-one can resist baby cuddles-even grumpy teens! X

@newtolineofduty @hoola23 sounds like you both have such wonderful relationships with your families 🙂❤️ I always love to hear when people can have conversations about important things like having babies etc with older siblings. Too often I hear kids spoken to in a patronising way and it's quite sad.

It would kill me if I indirectly imposed some emotional trauma on them! I'm always super conscious of how our decisions impact them whilst also trying to maintain that they are children and sometimes you have those uncomfortable feelings and it's part of development working through them I think.

You can't go wrong with little people if there's love, respect and good communication! ❤️ xxx DSS said he thought the scan picture was a 'poo' and DSD thought it looked like a 'love heart'-the difference between boys and girls hey! 😂 x

@newtolineofduty 🤣🤣🤣ahh I love that! To be fair unless the pregnancy is over 15/16 weeks I struggle to make anything out of those scan pics🤣

Hi everyone, I have loved reading through the thread and catching up on what I missed as was offline on a little weekend away with family.

@FirsttimeEm Congratulations! Hope you had a lovely evening telling DH - so pleased for you and hopefully bringing some BFP luck to all of the rest of us!

@hoola23 @CShandy01 @newtolineofduty you all have had such a good month with the ovulation symptoms like lots of EWCM! Fingers and toes crossed for you. I was getting a bit down as have had zilch until this evening (CD 15 today) but DH is working on a big project so haven't DTD since night before yesterday :( All negatives on the CB Pink ovulation kits though and I started testing twice a day a few days ago... that has stressed me out a bit tbh. I might skip them next month and just go with EWCM. I do get longer cycles of around 31 days so must ovulate around CD 16-17... hoping we have a window of opportunity once he hands in his project tomorrow afternoon as EWCM has only just made an appearance 😂

DH turned to me on Friday and said "I can't wait to have a baby with you" which made me cry as I felt a bit like it was my idea in the first place and he would have liked to wait a bit longer before TTC ... I feel better now knowing he wants it as much as I do!

@plantbasedlondoner that's so sweet! It's SO frustrating when life gets in the way of TTC!
