Think we need a new thread as I tried to post on the old thread and it wouldn't let me!! Please tag in anyone else I've missed who may want to join us here!

@hoola23 @newtolineofduty I probably think I missed my peak time because when we did DTD my CM wasn't as much as it has been the previous day (we're DTD sort of every other day, or mostly when we feel like it). With not using any OPK's I'm not exactly sure what the hell is going on 😂 my cervix was super high and soft yesterday, to the point where I genuinely thought I had lost it, so may have ovulated then?!?! Who bloody knows at this point! But had to say the pressure has been off and we've had a lot more fun and it's felt more genuine, which is lovely. Also means I won't have a clue how many DPO I am and when AF is due...this is going to be fun 😂😂

@CShandy01 I think as long as you've got the mucus you're still fertile! I think the amount depends on how much water you've drank etc! Sounds like you've had a good go so far and not doing the OPKs is benefiting you! I read ovulation is the last day of EWCM or the day after so I'd calculate it from that! @hoola23 that's great you've been able to enjoy DTD abit more and it didn't feel as much like baby making! We had a similar experience last night but may feel different on peak day if I get one! 😂 x DP out tonight so we'll have the night off DTD tonight and go again tomo hopefully! X

@newtolineofduty ahhh I see! That makes sense! Me and DH probably should try DTD tonight but I genuinely don't think we've got it in us. Done it Sunday, Monday and yesterday when I noticed the CM from Sunday getting stretchier. I think an extra night will kill us both 😂

@CShandy01 I don't think a night off will do any harm-it'll give DHs sperm chance to build back up! I'm sure there's plenty of lovely sperm up there ready and waiting! What CD are you?

@newtolineofduty I'm bang on 14 days today, so I reckon I probably ovulated yesterday because of the fact that the EWCM has completely gone now. Unless I ovulated today and it's now gone because that's the end of ovulation!!?! I don't know!! 😩😩

@CShandy01 if you ovulated yesterday then that's perfect as you'd have done it the two days leading up and day of! If you've ovulated today then that's also great as all that sperm will still be alive ready and waiting! I read that there's a 30/40% chance of conceiving 2 days and 1 day before ovulation but only an 8% chance on the day of! We should do it tonight most likely but I don't want to feel like we're trying and doing it two nights in a row feels like we're trying so given my reader said not fertile I think I'll wait until tomo! I'm thinking I'm going to get my peak tomo though! X

@newtolineofduty yes it's really interesting how it's very unlikely to conceive on the day of ovulation, but rather it's better to try beforehand. Well I think we covered all boundaries by doing it 3 days in a row 😂😂 got some rather sharp stabbing pains down my left hand side currently, so I'm definitely ovulating on my left hand side (ovulated on right last time as I had exactly the same thing). Can never tell if this is ovulation pain as ovulation is happening; or rather that it's already happened. The body is a crazy thing!!

Do you use clear blue monitors? Are they accurate?

@MrsRosaline I'm so sorry for your loss hun, just echoing what everyone else has said here, take all the time to grieve that you need. The minute you get that positive test you start imagining a whole future. Be kind to yourself and do whatever you can to look after yourself right now.

Yes I use the CB fertility monitor @CShandy01. I find it totally matches up with the EWCM (I get my peak on the day when I get the most mucus). I have the one that costs £30 and comes with 20 sticks but I think there's one that costs about £100! X

@CShandy01yes ovulation pain is different depending on the person and the month- can be before, during or after ovulation! I think mine happens the day before or day of ovulation but sometimes I am not sure if it is tummy trouble or my tight jeans causing the issue 😂

So I've been a little fed up with DH putting lots of social events with friends/ family in the diary to make the most of what's left of summer which means we are really tired and DTD-ing every other night has gone out of the window 😬 I've had negatives on OPKs but today is cycle day 10 so it would have been too early to ovulate, hopefully I'm gearing up to it despite running around a bit too much this month. I find I don't ovulate some months when I'm exhausted/ stressed. Haven't had the EWM yet! The clear blue OPKs are nice and simple but agree with @hoola23 they break the bank...

@CShandy01 I think you've defo covered it this month. What cd are you now? I think it's great you have no idea about ov! Now you'll just test if AF is late!!

@newtolineofduty I thought you had the cbfm machine thing! That's what I have! I bought it off eBay for £30 though! It honestly does nothing more than the other cb testing kit!

@plantbasedlondoner I feel your pain! My DP is out tonight and Saturday and there's a good chance that will be a really key day this month if I ovulate when I usually would!!!! No chance of a quickie in the day time either with three kids in the house! X

@newtolineofduty nothing🤣 I guess because it stores all your data? You can log when you have sex too but that's about it!

@hoola23 agh that's good to know! My £30 monitor has lasted me all five months! X

Is there seriously a monitor for £100?!?!?! That's disgraceful! These companies shouldn't be cashing in on women having trouble conceiving. Bloody awful. I find it hard enough how much the OPK's are and also decent pregnancy tests. Bloody ridiculous!

@hoola23 I'm CD14 today, absolutely no EWCM no, whatever is there is just a tiny bit creamy and wet but that's it (apologies for TMI). I had the most on Monday and Tuesday during school hours, so I'm hoping I caught the right moment! We'll probably DTD tomorrow just to make sure we're covered if we can be arsed, DH asked if we should do it tonight, but I think that'll be us doing it for the sake of it. It's been really nice so far and I don't want to ruin it.

So according to my calendar, AF should be due either 2 weeks today or 2 weeks yesterday...happy TWW 😂😂

@plantbasedlondoner it's just a cycle isn't it? You can't help but get stressed about TTC, but the stress impacts your ovulation timing, which in term is difficult enough to get. Then you get stressed if you've got it right, and then once it's been and gone, there's another level of stress with the TWW scenario! 1 thing after another!

@CShandy01 it's totally ridiculous but I'm a sucker so bought it! Happy TWW. The fun now begins! NO SYMPTOM SPOTTING ALLOWED!!!!!!!!🤣🤣

@hoola23 I genuinely wouldn't know what to look out for anyway 😂 for 2 months when we were TTC No.2 I genuinely thought I was pregnant as I had EVERY SYMPTOM KNOWN TO MAN! Then last month I had no symptoms and AF still showed up! I've given up and just decided to go with the flow...not AF "flow" though!

@newtolineofduty I'm with you on this one chick!! I have 1 FRER somewhere upstairs I think, and I am refusing to use it unless I'm late for AF...which will be interesting because I'll be completely guessing at that. I'll just wait until probably CD 31 to test since the fact that I had EWCM from CD 11 to CD 13, so I'm assuming that means I will probably be due CD 27 or 28 maybe?
