@hoola23 I'd just follow your instincts and do whatever feels right for you both-it's such a tough call to make though!

I'm so anxious about my fertility monitor results tomo!!! If it's not fertile I'll be relieved I've not peaked yet but I'll also worry what if I've missed my peak! So then I'll be anxiously testing every morning argh! X

Welcome @FirsttimeEm! Echo what the others said! I use the digital clear blue fertility monitor and really like that!

@CShandy01 and @hoola23 do you track your BBT? I was thinking of starting and wondered if you could recommend a good thermometer and app I might use? Xx

@newtolineofduty what cycle day are you? I'm going to guess it will say high tomo and prob will for a good few days! Are you not about CD 8?

@newtolineofduty I've always meant to track my BBT, but because DD often is awake in the night and I have to go and see her, then I need a wee, by the time I'm up in the morning I've either forgotten to take my BBT, or need to shove DD on the toilet before an accident happens in our toilet training journey 😂

@newtolineofduty forgot to say, I never remember to do my BBT I did it for a month or so and my temps were all over the place so it felt a bit pointless. I bought the femometer bbt off Amazon. Was about a tenner and got the femometer app which is quite good, I still use that one. If you can remember to take it at the same time every morning they give it a go. I just worry that it will be another thing for me to obsess over🤣

@hoola23 I'm CD8 tomorrow but I never get many high/flashing smiley days-usually just one or two then peak! Last month I went straight to peak! The earliest I've got a flashing smiley so far is day 11 and then I got my peak on day 13 that month. It feels like my entire cycle has shifted forwards by three days! Crossing my fingers I don't see a peak until Thursday earliest!!! If I do Im going to stop the ubiquinol!

Thanks for that both about the temping. I was hoping to do it to reassure myself I have actually ovulated! But I think it would be risky in terms of potentially something else to worry about! X

Thank you all for your advice so quickly! Yep sorry by testing I meant checking my ovulation. I've been using my Fitbit app and that's averaged out around 30days and predicted ovulation on day 18! Which is now got me wondering if this is a bit late! Think I might take my next cycle as a chance to start testing earlier. I've been using just basic tests as well so might splash out on some clear blue ovulation test and look into cm. Thank you again 😊

Hi folks, I'm in the 2ww 💃🙃 I'm 2 weeks from 14dpo. All bfn so far. But my breasts feel so weird, and tmi but my cm is heavier than usual. I was doing LH testing for ovulation, so I think it was accurate but who knows. I feel like I'm going insane. I'm starting to feel a bit nauseous but maybe it's just the stress ? I'm exhausted too , but I just started on a new med so maybe it's that? I'm so sick of this, and I know I'm going to have to meet new babies over Christmas 😔 TTC for about a year now

So I did my monitor this morning and it came up as low fertility which I'm relieved about as I was worried it'd say peak!!! But now I'm just not hoping I've missed it otherwise this months egg would be no where near mature enough! I'll be anxious every morning now! Hoping for my peak Thursday/Friday and usually get high fertility just a couple of days before so I'll be most anxious weds! Xx

@FirsttimeEm I used both my Fitbit and my OPK to track ovulation in the cycle I conceived. From what I can gather Fitbit assumes a textbook ovulation date (I have a 25day cycle so it assumed ovulation on day 10) but my OPK didn't show a peak until 4 days later.

You can use a Fitbit directionally but it wasn't set up to support fertility tracking etc. You are better of using the kits and if you understand it/have the inclination (I don't and didn't) use physiological signs (CM, bbt etc) as better predictors of your cycle.

@newtolineofduty hey hun! I'm 99.9% sure you haven't missed your peak given that your only CD8/9 pretty sure the stuff you've taken has just increased your fertile CM. Keep testing every day though! X

Thanks @hoola23! For some reason I'm feeling really health anxious this month. I've been googling stuff around hormones and I have lots of symptoms of my estrogen levels being too high! But if that was the case the CB monitor would give me lots of high fertility days wouldn't it!? X

@newtolineofduty I diagnosed myself with that too a while ago🤣 coincidentally, I also started having loads of ewcm today way more than normal! I rushed home from work to do a cheapie as my cbfm time range was finished and I didn't both this AM as it was low yesterday but still completely negative on opk. I defo think my cycle this month is going to be all over the place!
Yeah cbfm would pick up any oestrogen surge with a high day so I think you're fine, just gotta wait it out to get that peak! Honestly, the more we look and the more we google the more we convince ourselves that we have issues. To think 50 years ago people just had sex 2 weeks after there period started and got pregnant! No wonder our generations are becoming more and more depressed! I was speaking to my mum about pregnancy tests and stuff and she was fascinated. I said how do you not know this, you have two children! She said they didn't have pregnancy tests when she was pregnant with me and my sister! I was so shocked🤣 apparently you just waited for two weeks after your period was due and then told a doctor you think you might be pregnant! How crazy is that! To think of all the chemicals that were missed that way! I defo would have missed mine

@hoola23 you're so right!! I mean google hasn't always existed and we've managed to reproduce as a species for thousands of years 😂 still...bloody frustrating when it doesn't happen to you!

So today, and I'm so so sorry for the graphic content here, but I genuinely thought I had started my period at school. I was like...either this is AF on CD12 or I've pissed myself.

Turns out neither and I was just on overdrive with CM. And it isn't even creamy in colour, it's literally completely clear and I couldn't literally stretch it like a Stretch Armstrong from the 90's (if you're too young to know, google it 😂) I sent a message to DH saying "as soon as DD is in bed we are ON THIS!" So romantic I know.

So with that I'm assuming ovulation is either today or tomorrow. Also checked my cervix and it's completely open. Again TMI. I've actually really enjoyed not testing at all and just getting in touch with the signals my body is telling me. That and not worrying about DTD every other day. Made the stress decrease.

On a random note though ladies, have any of you found that you've developed acne in your 30's? My face is awful at the moment, I didn't even have acne this bad when I was 18 😩 one thing after another!!!

@hoola23 thank you that's reassuring and how strange that you have early EWCM too-maybe part of the chemical? It's deffo CM day with you having it too @CShandy01! Hope you manage to DTD successfully this eve! My brother had a stretch Armstrong toy I remember it well hun! I had jawline acne a couple of years back which was really stubborn! Stress related supppsedly! Xxx

@CShandy01 I cracked up reading your message🤣🤣🤣 I hope you jump on DH ASAP! I'd try and do it for the next 2-3 days too depending on how the CM is over the next few days. It's defo not romantic, but I'm sure he liked the message! 🤣 do guys ever think romance and sex together? 🤣🤣🤣

Can't help with the acne thing hun, I never really got spots at all even as a teenager thank god. I randomly get the odd one here and there from time to time. Surprisingly really as my skin tends to be oily most of the time! I do however, get random thick black chin hairs (I'm blonde!) This developed around when I was 32 and it actually repulses me! I get so much satisfaction plucking them out though. You can feel this spikey thing and they're so short it takes ages to get them with the tweezers!!! I hope I'm not alone in this🤣🤣

@newtolineofduty we all seem to be having EWCM issues the last couple days! I'm sure it's just because are cycles are so similar!
I'm going to test tomorrow morning with the monitor. Pretty sure it will say high!

@newtolineofduty if I go from when the proper bleeding started in CD8 but the bleeding technically started 3am on the Monday so it could be cd7. I also had the spotting started the day before so it's hard to really know!! My apps say cd8 so sticking with that! But my CM always starts around day 7-9 and then ovulation is usually 12-14. Gonna DTD every other day from Tomo. I've done something awful to my back though- no idea what! Think it's from sitting on fantastic fat arse all day WFH 🤣 taken some codine which always makes me feel floaty but thankfully the pain has eased!
