AF is due on Friday but it isn't looking good as more cramps and I feel very moody and tired! A bit gutted tbh as it means I haven't been DTD at the right time - I think apps can be misleading in terms of fertile window etc so need another strategy as I don't think we can DTD every other day of the month!

@plantbasedlondoner oh no! Have you used ovulation tests before, that prob your best bet or tracking your bbt to give you the most accurate way to know when you ovulated x

@newtolineofduty the bleeding seems to be settling now, was hardly anything on the tampax after 3 hours or so. I really thought it would be heavier by now but maybe it will get like that tomorrow as my second AF day is usually my heaviest

@plantbasedlondoner I ovulated three days earlier than usual this month so my cycle was shorter and I'm usually like clock work. I've been reading up and think it's quite normal to ovulate earlier occasionally-stress can be a cause! OPKs are good for not missing those months where you may ovulate slightly earlier or later xxx

I'd be inclined to do a frer @hoola23 and see how dark the line is!!!! Do you have any!? Could you get hold of one!? X

If there's no bleeding tomo then I'll go grab one. I only have a digital early response one. I really have zero hope though what with the pain and bleeding which has been all day pretty much. There's no way it would still be there after all that! X

Usually I'd agree with you @hoola23 but my friend is currently pregnant and she's been bleeding from the start and passed a BLOOD CLOT (Large) and was sure that was the baby but baby was fine! So I honestly don't think you can rule it out until you've seen your proper flow! X

Yes definitely seen crimson so AF is here early! 😣

@hoola23 I have read about them and how to use them but haven't ordered any yet, I'll give them a go this cycle! Thanks for the tip :) unfortunately I don't wake up at the same time every day so I think BBT tracking won't work so well for me.

@newtolineofduty so true re stress and ovulation! DH and I are the eldest and there are no grandkids on either side yet so I feel the pressure a bit - 3rd wedding anniversary coming up next month too!

@newtolineofduty gosh really?! I don't understand how that can actually happen biologically! Showing my poor physiology skills here🤣 if I had zero pain I would be inclined to hold on to a glimmer of hope but the pain was bad earlier so that's why I'm like nah, move on. Will see how tomo goes with bleeding etc and will then think about testing. As stupid as it is, I just don't want to see another bloody bfn even though I know it will be. I'm DONE with testing!!!! Can't believe I'm saying that 🤣

@plantbasedlondoner oh no!! Well we all seem to be roughly the same dates now for next month so we can go through it all together! Yeah I can't deal with the bbt thing, my morning brain is never up to remembering it!🤣 is defo get some opk though as that's the best alongside tracking your CM x

@hoola23 yes totally!!!! I didn't even properly inspect my test this morning as I usually would! Just lobbed it straight in the bin! Deffo waiting for AF next time!!!!! Until I'm at least afew days late!!!!

@newtolineofduty bloody crap isn't it! I'm with you on that. I honestly won't test next time until a whole week after AF as getting an early BFP will mean zero to me now! I'm saying this as I'm now at the angry stage of grief clearly! But I really hope I stick to it!🤣
New day tomo, new mindset has to start too! X

@hoola23 so helpful thanks - definitely going to start with the OPKs from CD 5! Thanks for saying we are all going to go through it at roughly the same time this cycle. It has made me feel better - it's amazing how long a month can feel when you're TTC!

@newtolineofduty ah luckily nothing too direct but lots of hints and wistful looks when other people's grandkids come up in conversation...not to mention the number of my friends who had lockdown babies and are asking what our plans are - many of them seem to have got pregnant on the very first try!

Guys I'm only just catching up on all of this. I sort of had like a light bulb moment yesterday. Came home, played with DD for ages, DH made tea, then had a meeting, and I decided to go to bed early to have a bit of time taking my make up off, using all my face cleansers and just reading in bed. Woke up feeling super refreshed and decided that this month is all about positivity no matter what happens 🙂🙂 I am refusing to buy any pregnancy tests until AF is at least 3 days late.

Actually am genuinely excited to be more chilled this month, just hope we're not SO chilled that we forget to DTD 😂😂

@newtolineofduty exactly chick! Honestly it's just the whole TWW which is a killer, and I will NOT crumble this time and buy tests. I'm on CD6 and said the last goodbyes to AF yesterday. Starting afresh now 🙂🙂 so glad my friends wedding is literally like the perfect cycle time for me as we will be on our own in a hotel for the first time since I was 4 weeks pregnant. Can't wait to actually enjoy this month rather than see it as a "OPK SMILEY FACE IS HERE GO GO GO" type of military operation.

@CShandy01 @newtolineofduty still feel pretty urgh this morning which is annoying me. I'm normally up at 6.30-7 but slept all the way until 8am which is not like me and I still feel tired.
No blood on the pad but there when I wiped and no more period pain so I'm hoping the bleeding stops soon

@hoola23 I've no experience of a chemical hun but I would have thought there would have been blood overnight as I think the bleeding tends to be heavier than a normal period? Xxx

@newtolineofduty yeah me too but I wonder if it's just going to be one of those long but light bleeds. My period are never really heavy normally and the bleeding I had yesterday was similar to my normal day 1 bleeds. I've had no clots (sorry) it's more mucus mixed with bright red blood (sorry again🤣!) but given that whatever was there was the size of a poppy seed, I don't think clots are normal especially if I lost it becuase of low progesterone as the that's what thickens everything up I think. The bleeding has been consistent for 24 hours really even though it's not a proper period yet. The doctor didn't even ask about my bleeding, I just said I had some bleeding and pain and she straight away said it's a chemical so that's what I'm going with. I'll see how today pans out I guess. I feel a bit sicky today but I think I'm just tired
