Or youre experiencing implantation cramping @plantbasedlondoner? Xxx

hoola23 · 13/09/2021 11:36

@CShandy01 @newtolineofduty totally with you both! So glad we've got this chat going, I can't tell you how much it's helped having you all to rant to and offload to! It really does keep me going!

This will be a totally relaxed month, I wouldn't even expect anything to happen after a chemical anyway so I'm just gonna go with the flow.

@newtolineofduty I might actually book a few sessions with a counsellor. It really does help to have someone whose not family to process things through. U fortunately, my last one retired recently and some therapists are so useless!

hoola23 · 13/09/2021 11:38

@plantbasedlondoner thank you lovely! That's odd about your cramping. Try not to read too much into it and see how it goes over the next few days. Hopefully it's a good sign for you! We need some bloody luck on this page!!!❤️

newtolineofduty · 13/09/2021 12:19

@hoola23 I just figured that I listen to everyone's else 'stuff' all day every day and decided it'd be a really positive step for me to look after me for once!!!! It's definitely helped me x think I'll just do afew more sessions before I end up feeling that I'm giving it too much headspace! X

hoola23 · 13/09/2021 12:58

@newtolineofduty it's so important to do that. I have ZERO patience in work today so I'm counting down the hours till I can log off! Luckily my deputy is a very close friend who knows so she's looking out for me!

I throw myself into work as a distraction sometimes and I need to be careful to not do that as it doesn't help at all! It's so important in our roles to self care. I've just started reading a new book called helping the helper I think so I hope that will help!

hoola23 · 13/09/2021 14:06

Spoke to the GP, all of 3 min convo🤣 she's arranging for me and my DH to have fertility tests once I get a normal period again after this one so at least that's something I guess!

newtolineofduty · 13/09/2021 14:06

Ooh that sounds interesting @hoola23! Yes I'd throw yourself into fun stuff/self care rather than work as a distraction instead this month! That's what I've done and it's great but it's costing me a fortune! 😂😂😂 xxx

hoola23 · 13/09/2021 14:28

@newtolineofduty I bet!! But I'm sure it's worth the investment! I keep having little crying episodes so I really hope that goes soon, I hate feeling sorry for myself!

MrsRosaline · 13/09/2021 15:23

So I had quite a bit of dark dark brown cervical mucus all day yesterday. I actually broke our pact last night and did a test, just so I could relax. But I got a very very faint line. I felt sure the test was dodgy but figured I'd do a digital with FMU and this appeared. Honestly I'm so shocked I'm sure my period is about to show.

@MrsRosaline we won't tell you off for breaking the pact with that result!!!!!!! YAYY!!!! Finally some good news! That is so amazing!!! I'm so so pleased for you! This has seriously cheered me up!!! ❤️❤️❤️

wannabeamummysobad · 13/09/2021 15:55

@MrsRosaline so, so happy for you!! Congratulations on your BFP 🥳

newtolineofduty · 13/09/2021 15:57

Oh my goodness @MrsRosaline that is FANTASTIC!!! Hcg levels have to be really good for those digitals so I'm sure your period isn't about to show! Congratulations that's made my day! 😂

@hoola23 I understand that but I think it's important to allow yourself to feel too to help you process it all x how's your DH taken it? Xxx

newtolineofduty · 13/09/2021 15:58

@hoola23 have you had any more red blood or was it just that this morning? You might not be out yet! X

hoola23 · 13/09/2021 16:37

@newtolineofduty oh I'm 100% out! Bleeding has been pretty constant all day so there's not even a glimmer oh hope anymore! X

MrsRosaline · 13/09/2021 17:27

Thank you everyone. It feels pretty surreal. Obviously with the brown mucus stuff yesterday I did some reading, and unless it's actually like a real period I wouldn't count yourself out totally @hoola23.

newtolineofduty · 13/09/2021 17:33

So sorry @hoola23 x I hope you can take it easy work wise this week-it's great your colleague us by the know!

@MrsRosaline I hope you can relax and enjoy in spite of the browny stuff x did you do anything differently this month!? Xxx

hoola23 · 13/09/2021 17:34

@MrsRosaline I'm pretty sure it's a real period now. It hasn't stopped all day and I had quite a lot of pain earlier that I had to take paracetamol which I never have to with AF so I'm 99.99999999% sure! It sucks but nothing I can do now apart from start again! Oh joy! Xx

MrsRosaline · 13/09/2021 18:19

Oh no I'm sorry to hear that @hoola23. What were your pregnancy tests like? Did you do digitalis at all? Was there line progression?

OP posts:
MrsRosaline · 13/09/2021 18:30

@newtolineofduty yeh I think that the brown mucus can be normal, although I didn't have anything like that with DD. I did a few different things this month which I'll list below.

  • I took folic acid and 3000IU Vitamin D (better you spray) everyday
  • I put my husband on conception vitamins. He couldn't take well man because the calcium interferes with his blood pressure meds so he's on something I found called "impryl".
  • I tried to take more vitamin C by having oranges when I could 😂

@MrsRosaline I did a digital again I think last time was Friday maybe. I can't remember now and that was positive. Not bothering to do any more now though as there's no point! I'm ok though really, everything happens for a reason and I'd rather have it this way than find out later on that things aren't ok. Just focusing on the fact that I did work even if it was only there for a week or so! ❤️

MrsRosaline · 13/09/2021 18:37

Yes you're so right. Most miscarriages happen because there's something wrong with the baby, so better for it to happen now than later on. I am thinking of you though and am sure you will be successful again if it already happened once! X

plantbasedlondoner · 13/09/2021 18:43

@hoola23 definitely rest up and take it easy and treat yourself to a lovely massage if you can 💛 you deserve it right now x

@MrsRosaline Congratulations!! I'm so happy for you, it sounds like you instinctively knew ✨ How are you feeling? Xx

I'm having some spotting and very dark brown CM, almost like what you get at the very end of your period which is unusual for me but I suspect AF has come four days early as an unpleasant visitor! A little gutted as have had regular cycles despite previous PCOS for the past six months so hope I'm not going backwards 😬

plantbasedlondoner · 13/09/2021 18:44

As in my cycles have been regular for the past six months (always 30/31 days) rather than irregular! Xx

QueenLagertha · 13/09/2021 18:50

Hey all. Just catching up on thread.

She sorry to hear @hoola23 and sorry for you to @newtolineofduty

@MrsRosaline so delighted to see your good news. Praying for a sticky one for you 🙏🏻

MrsRosaline · 13/09/2021 18:53

I saw the brown blood yesterday, and thought it looked odd because it's like what you get at the end rather then the start but I just assumed my period was coming. I went to Boots to buy tampons!! So it could be a good sign for you too 🤞🏻
