My dd is 11 months old and we have decided that now is the time for number 2! My daughter took 18 months to conceive with a mmc in between, so I'm expecting a long journey. This is my first month and I'm on cd4.

@PartyPotato my first one messed me up and the second didn't. Hopefully the same for you 🤞🏼 they were both around the same time in my cycle as well

@whatsthecraic91 I’m still not sure when I’m going to ovulate as my last cycle was different to previous so will have to keep an eye on myself for the next couple of weeks. That’s good to know though!

I am a POAS addict so did a cheap OPK last night which was really dark, did one again this morning and also clear blue and finally have my static! Let's hope I can catch it this cycle 🤞🏼

@wegoagain oh yay I am so happy to hear you got your static!! that's a relief especially when you felt this it wasn't going to happen this month!

I got my static on Thursday. So I think I ovulated Friday..
I really hope this is a lucky month for us 🤞🏼🤞🏼

We were supposed to DTD last night but I couldn't be arsed. My CM is all gone this morning so I do think I ovulated Thursday/Friday. I think I'm 3DPO but unsure 🤷‍♀️

Hello, new joiner to the thread

Just been having a read through your posts, We're ttc our 2nd, our 1st DS is 16 months now, hoping for not too big of an age gap so they can play together, and hopefully be interested/entertained by similar things!

We were very lucky and conceived first time last time, this time around we're on month 2 ttc i'm in my fertile window, didn't really give last month much of a go so hoping to be more on it this time so to speak haha. I'm using the cheap opk's from amazon and logging them (have done for a few months now just because i knew we were wanting to try soon and my cycles were very different at first, they're starting to settle a bit now), I'm 34.

3dpo and symptom spotting already… whhhy am I like this?!

I promised myself I was going to take the more relaxed approach this time. Anyone else feel worried if it doesn’t happen in the same time as your first? I know that’s completely illogical but I can’t help it 😩

@CBB2021 no I think it’s a natural response. But how the first happened has no correlation to the second or third often. It’s infuriating.

I fell straight away, mc at 13 weeks which was devastating and it took me 7 VERY long cycle to fall again. I was furious why it wasn’t working right away. But we just got lucky first time that’s all 🤷🏻‍♀️ Lots of it is probability and luck.

7 months isn’t even THAT long either. A year is considered still normal and fertile. But it was all heightened cos of the mc.

Caved an did a cheap IC test this morning and BFN 😕
I thought I was 11dpo but I ovulated really late at night so more like 10.5dpo this morning when test was taken.

@Indianna2006 sorry about BFN, I don't test early as I had waaaayyy to maybe of them when TTC #1. DS1 took 17/18 cycles!

@Indianna2006 just catching up - thanks for sharing those stats I'm 30 so it's useful to see a realistic picture of what my chances are before I become crazed 🙃

Lots of you past ovulation now, keeping my fingers crossed for everyone! I'm on CD10 now and pretty sure i will ovulate around CD20 if my symptom spotting has been reliable. Just wondering as I'm new to using OPKs, if you've had success with them what time do you tend to test? There's so much info out there suggesting different times it's hard to know what to do. I've got CB digi ones and cheapo one step ones so was thinking of backing up cheapos with the digi ones when they look positive.

Has anyone else done SMEP? It says once positive OPK try for 3 days, skip a day and then try again. If I got my positive on Sunday is today my skip a day?

When is everyone trying to hold out until before testing? I want to get to next Saturday but don't think I will last!!

I technically did smep this month without effort just how it worked out.

AF showed up today again though! Eugh sake!

If this cycle is going to be 28 days again then I should be ovulating soon! So DTD last night and will continue to do so this week. Hope I see some EWCM. If I don’t then I guess I’m going back to 30 odd day cycles and will have to DTD all next week as well, I’m too tired for this 😂

@wegoagain I am probably going to last until about 10/11 dpo if I’m honest 🤣🤣

Need to wait until AF due! But that’s not going to happen!

@wegoagain with my dd we did SMEP, along with pre-seed and OPKs. Although with a toddler and working full time I just about managed the pre seed this month 🤣🤣🤣

I think I'm about 6DPO. If my AF hasn't arrive by 16th I'll order a test to do next weekend. I don't keep tests in the house anymore after TTC#1, it was like pissing on 5ers 😂😅

@wegoagain I did smep a number of times when ttc my daughter but it was never successful for me.

I'm now on cd22, still no signs of ovulation and this is the third day in a row I've had a little blob of brown spotting. Fed up!!

Morning ladies.

I didn't OPK this month but glow app suggests I am cd26 and 11dpo with AF due on Sunday.

I swore I wouldn't symptom spot but have been ravenously hungry for the past few days and looking to blame my excessive biscuit consumption on something 😳

Anyway I caved and did the cheapest test I could find in Tesco (2 for £1) this morning. I daren't hope too much so am going to wait and do a clearblue on Sunday if no AF.

@Hullabaloowho were they the freedom test strips?

I only ask because I used one of them few months ago and got a dodgy evap.

I used one again this cycle at 12dpo and again I got a line. More obvious than before. Quite obvious line in a pic don’t even need to really squint. But it was an evap. My period came yesterday.
I had another brand IC which I trust and frer and tested them with the same wee after this test. And they were stark negative.

These freedom strips are AWFUL and I will not be buying them again!

Hopefully yours is a true positive. But I’d be wary and not buy them tbh. 😔😔
