My dd is 11 months old and we have decided that now is the time for number 2! My daughter took 18 months to conceive with a mmc in between, so I'm expecting a long journey. This is my first month and I'm on cd4.

@Chivari I started on CD9 but all been blank circles so far. Usually I get a flashy by today but not more sticks so back to cheap opks now 😂 didn’t wanna buy a new pack as hoping this month is the month.

I think a 11/12 day luteal phase I fine 👍 but obv remember add on the amount your luteal phase would usually be. So for example if your expecting AF on 26th cos you usually ovulate like day 14. But haven’t until day 17. Then your AF will turn up 3 days later. So don’t expect it until like say 29th. Does that make sense? So it won’t be late as search. It’s always a set determined time after you ovulate.

What day do you usually ovulate your other cycles?

@Hope18 what day is AF due for you? Not until 30th/31st for me so Halloween 🤪

@Indianna2006 23rd is day AF due according to apps but last cycle it came 3 days early so no idea what happened there. Other than me having covid the cycle before could have messed it up..

Morning everyone! So feeling pretty rubbish, going to be totally raw and honest, DH has had stage fright since yesterday 😞 I stupidly told him about the static smiley and tried to be spontaneous but it’s totally killed the vibe.
So, so far I’m at peak fertility but already think I’m out this month unless something miraculous happens in the next few hours….

@Chivari oh no!! How come he got straight fright? Maybe another time don’t mention about the steric smileys etc. These men are funny creatures aren’t they. I do tend to mention to my DH but only causally as otherwise he usually asks anyway like what did it say today have you checked etc.
But we’re much more relaxed this time compared to trying with DD and tend to have mor sex than we used to anyway which always helps!

Could you broach the subject with him? When did you last dtd? You could still be in for a chance hun!

I think I got my surge today! Altho yesterday clearblue opk said blank circle. And yet today on a cheap opk I’ve quite clearly got my surge so bit concerned it wasn’t like flashy smiley for few days like what does that mean?! Duff hormones 🤷🏻‍♀️

@chivari oh no 😕 it's so gutting when that happens isn't it! That happened to us Saturday morning and I think that was official O day. 😭 There's still time as even the day after could be a good one!
And there's still time today!
I'm defo feeling out.. About 6 or 7dpo and feeling nothing..
I know it's still so early but just feel like I'd have the odd sign by now 😭

The pressure for the guys to perform so often and with timing so specific must be quite stressful!

That looks very strong @Indianna2006 I would definitely say it’s a peak day! Where do you get your OPK’s from?

He basically got it yesterday because I told him I had a static smiley and then suggested we make the most of it (trying to be fun) but he then couldn’t. We tried again last night and first thing this morning but he can’t. He said he is really stressed with work too and just feels massively under pressure. So I don’t think anything is going to happen today now. I’m actually devastated and have cried about it because I feel so frustrated. We last dtd on Tuesday and pretty sure I’m ovulating today. It’s a possibility that it could catch but I very much doubt it. So on to month 4 I guess 😢

@Hope18 don’t give up hope, I didn’t have any symptoms when I was pg with DD! The body is strange like that! You’re only out when AF arrives 😘

@chivari aw I'm sorry things arnt going to plan for this cycle 😔 there's so much pressure isn't there.. I think like we've said before even though we try and make it casual and low key.. Deep down it never is.. And i think it's good to remember that it's ok to feel like that as its something we all really want❤️ hopefully we all catch lucky soon..

@chivari yes we do, around 5 hrs. 😭😂 With a just turned 3 year old it's rather painful haha.. But been so worth it. She's loved every minute bless her! Although it's non stop even for our last day-she's just come running out of soft play requesting swimming 😂 weve only just finished lunch!

I get my OPK from savers hun. 5 for £1. I have always found them brill. An then I also use there pregnancy strips 3 for £1 as cheap testing any found them very reliable. Never get evaps!

@Hope18 ahh sounds like you have a nice time away! You never know. Can’t count yourself out yet. I have no symptoms with my DD until 7 weeks. Literally would never of known I was pregnant without a positive test!

Sending hugs. That all sounds so exhausting! We do put so much pressure on ourselves don’t we.

We’re only in cycle one for this tcc and it only took 3 cycles last time so we never got to that point last time…I think DH enjoyed the whole thing and wished it had lasted longer 🤣🤣🤣

However, I can imagine that if it takes longer than we hope this time, we will get to that point…neither of us are getting any younger and I am looking to potentially change career but don’t want to do so In the middle of tcc!

Try to have a nice relaxing evening tonight…perhaps skip it for today and just spend some nice time together, it might help you relax for next time. Sending positive vibes your way x

Just joining this thread as about to start TTC #2 soon (hopefully next cycle). We were ready a few months ago and I came off the pill in preparation, but DH then hit a few work / stress related bumps and it set him back. He didn't want this cycle but I'm seriously hoping next. DD is 16 months old at the mo. 🤞

According to my app I start ovulating tomorrow so it will be all systems go! 😁

So after my super dark opk yesterday morning I got bad one sided ovulation pains about 3pm for the rest of the day.

Me & DH had DTD 3 day before, day before and then we DTD last night. Should we DTD today as well at some point to cover all bases?
Or do we think if I ovulated yesterday afternoon presuming that was the pain. The egg might have already shrivelled up so to speak 😂😂

Guess that means I’m 1DPO today. Gonna do opk this morning just to check it’s gone back fainter.

I would say you’re pretty covered, but there is no harm in doing it again today if you’re up for it. The more the merrier and all that?! If you still have EWCM then I’d definitely go for it.
