My dd is 11 months old and we have decided that now is the time for number 2! My daughter took 18 months to conceive with a mmc in between, so I'm expecting a long journey. This is my first month and I'm on cd4.

Okay so I’ve done some stats below for ppl to try follow if they wish. Some may be a bit wrong as was quite difficult with all the names and dates 😂

@Indianna2006 that should help us keep track of everyone as my memory is awful 😂 I'm on cycle 2, currently having the worst AF in years 😩 not sure why maybe the folic acid tablets I've been taking, that's the only different thing 🤷🏼‍♀️

Flo predicts ovulation will be the 19th but going to start testing with OPKs this month.

Does anyone use Flo? How many days are blue 'chance to get pregnant' during a cycle? Curious as mine is 9 is this the norm? As it's a week before ovulation too, is that as sperm can live up to 7 days?

@Maddie2802 my AF is pretty much on her way out. Feel a bit bleugh about it this cycle.
I’ve done clearblue opk last two months. The one which detects your two diff hormones.
Well they say sperm can live 5 days in ideal environment. But depends on your own hormone levels and CM etc etc I think.

Well I always assumed if I ovulated in CD13 I’d have a chance getting pregnant from Cad 10 right?

But with clearblue it detects that day each month for me a low fertile day. And my two fertile days are CD11 and CD12 and then CD13 is my peak. So really I have a 3/4 day window really. Rather than 5/7.

But each hormone profile is different I guess. But is that helpful? Like I’d always thought I’d get pregnant from doing deed that day but personally for me with my hormones I guess it makes it not likely.

@Maddie2802 I use Flo! Mine usually gives me 10 highly fertile days, 7 before ovulation, predicted ovulation day, and then the following 2 days! I think sperm can live up to 5 days possibly? So any sex you have in the lead up to predicted ovulation day could swing it! I got pregnant with my first DS in 2019 purely using Flo and going by the predicted ovulation days, but decided this month to try cheap OPK's to see if Flo was actually accurate? The results actually coincided exactly with what Flo told me, so it seems pretty bang on!

@wegoagain since I got my BFP my 9month old has been a DEMON 😂😂 it's like he knows, worse nights now than when he was newborn 🙄

My LH peak came later than usual i was being dramatic with it not arriving on time the other day, I've been quite stressed the last week so think that's maybe held it back, we've given it a good go 😂 so feeling as hopeful as I could be (I'd love a cancerian baby, anyone else think like this as the months go by, Hahah)

@whatsthecraic91 omg my DD was exactly the same! Like at the moment of conception she changed! Luckily she’s calmed down now, but it’s like she knew!

AF is FINALLY on her way out! Onto a new cycle and a more upbeat month. I'm determined to not stress or worry about TTC.

@Chivari it's not been easy to get this way! I was symptom spotting all the way through cycles 2 and 3, like I was obsessed. And then I was obsessed with testing early too. Last cycle I chilled out a bit more, but clearly not enough. I got pregnant with DD using OPK's but I was so much more relaxed. So I've decided this month to do no testing of any kind, and just look out for EWCM. Trying to DTD when we feel like it, rather than scheduled in. I think I'm so wound up about it all my body is screaming "CALM DOWN!"

Of course I'm getting ovulation cramps days earlier than my app predictions... Least I'm hoping they're ovulation cramps and not a mystery period a fortnight early like last month...

Typical it's happening now when I'm still waiting for my conceive+ to be delivered. Still got to try I suppose. Hoping all the baby dust going on here may give me some luck. All this malarky and timing DTD (far less enjoyable, just a chore at this point) is making my brain ache 😆

@CShandy01 I definitely feel like I’ve had a few moments where I need to calm down! Trying clear blue this month but if it doesn’t work I don’t think I’ll buy another pack, I’ll just go with the flow… she says 😂

@VixenAndCub oh no! Well as long as your DTD then you should be fine and fingers crossed you catch 🤞🏻 I know what you mean about it becoming a chore sometimes!

Had quite bad cramping this afternoon and some spotting/pink blood. Doesn't seem like a great sign, I think it may have been a chemical pregnancy 😔

Could it be implantation? With my first I had terrible cramps in the first trimester and a bit of blood. Thought I had lost him so took another test. Still positive. My doctor said it was implantation pains. Maybe speak to your doctors? See what they think?

@vixenandcub I'm not too sure..first I thought maybe it was implantation which I didn't have with my first DS, but the cramping started and feels almost identical to my period cramps before AF arrives 😔 I took a cheap test yesterday and the line wasn't very strong but I just thought maybe it was cos it was cheap? I may call the docs on Monday but feeling really gutted cos I just have a terrible feeling of the worst and that this just wasn't meant to be 😔
