Anyone else ttc #2?

My dd is 11 months old and we have decided that now is the time for number 2! My daughter took 18 months to conceive with a mmc in between, so I'm expecting a long journey. This is my first month and I'm on cd4.

I'm in need of some experienced ttcers advice! I posted this on a new thread so forgive me if you see that one too.

Yesterday I had my 6th blank circle.
/low fertility symbol and that was cd14. I have 26-29 day cycles usually but my longest has been 30. I took the test at about 5am yesterday, brought it back to my bedroom and it was still deciding which symbol so I went to sleep to look later. At half 6, I ejected it as there was no symbol displayed and the screen was blank. I inserted the test stick I'd used back in and it came up with the book symbol and the test stick symbol also which seemed very odd but it processed the stick as low fertility.

This morning, I got the flashing smiley face but I'm not sure if it is genuine! As far as my cycles go, it is a day where I could have it but how would I know if it should be the flashing or a blank? I have had no ewcm this cycle.

@Chanel05 I would see what tomorrow's says. If it's flashing then I would say you're on your way to ovulating. Don't worry about EWCM yet. I only got it a couple of days really and you might not be there yet. Have you any cheapy OPKs you could do along side? I always found CB digital extremely accurate I used them a lot when TTC my first x

I’m on cd31 and had some brown spotting this morning, very unlike me. When AF comes she just comes, no messing around. Not due for another 3 or 4 days. Hmmm this has been a very unusual cycle!

What apps do you guys use for trying to track ovulation? I've been using GetBaby but when I try to track a period and want to add in the first day of bleeding, it always shows my period a week later. So makes me doubt it's got the right ovulation day

I use flow, you can add your symptoms daily, notes and so on 😊

@VixenAndCub I use Flo too! Helped me concieve my first! Annoyingly they're really trying to push premium membership now, whereas it was free before, but there's still a lot you can track/note on the free version!
@PartyPotato Ooo sounds promising!! I'm currently 6DPO, 8 days till AF and desperate for when I can test!

Hi! I'm feeling very tired, a bit crampy and bloated. How are you? My period is due Sunday but I may test Friday 🙈 unless I can be patient!

@Maddie2802 same really! Also have been feeling really stuffy and hot but that's probably more to do with running around after a toddler almost of the time.

No huge glaring symptoms but can't help thinking to myself how i'd really love to see those 2 lines. Even though this is our first cycle 🤦‍♀️ madness. I know testing at 12 DPO is a bit early but that's when I had my BFP first time around so I've got it in my head that I'll test then. So impatient!

I feel like I've had some twinging/cramps on my right hand side all day, but I think I'm just reading too much into everything!

Just got my peak after flashing this morning. Dh said we should dtd this morning but I said no as we were tired. Typical! Haven't dtd since cd12 🤦‍♀️. Was going to last night but dd is poorly and she was in our bed from 8pm! He's on the way home so we're going to dtd this evening, morning (though he doesn't know this yet 😂) and tomorrow night, hoping we catch it.

I always overthink with symptoms! I took a test this morning even though I've got 6 days till AF 🙈 negative but with my DD took a while to get a positive.

How old is your toddler? My daughter turned 3 yesterday and there are lots of colds at nursery we are trying to avoid!

@Maddie2802 it's so hard isn't it! Especially working from home because I'm noticing every little thing.

She is 14 months and suddenly in that busy busy phase! I would love to have another close in age but I think everything works out for the best in the end so trying to just wait and see 😬 she's been sent home so much recently from nursery, there is all sorts going round! Hope you had a lovely time for your little one's birthday 🎉

Posted on here a while ago, but have only just made it back on!

AF is due on Wednesday/Thursday but I’ve had weird cramps and back ache for the last 2/3 days. My nipples are also really sensitive and tingly (sorry TMI) and I’ve been very irritable. It could easily be AF, but could also be pregnancy. I took a cheap test today which was a BFN - told myself I am not testing again until day after AF is due if it’s late.

Second month TTC so not long, but caught first time with our dd so this is all a bit new to me…. Can’t help but feel a bit disappointed in anticipation of AF arriving ☹️

@Maddie2802 yep, negative PT today! Saw a tiny bit more brown today but nothing more. I mean, I don’t think I am pregnant to be honest, the spotting just threw me a bit because it’s so unusual.
AF due Thursday so surely even a little cheap test would pick up pregnancy by now?

@Maddie2802 yes she will be one of the oldest! Which is also why I think we have decided it would be nice to have another baby by the time she is 4..mind you- wed be happy falling whenever aslong as we are lucky enough to have another baby! Age gaps don't bother me. :-)

@chivari hello! The waiting game Is awful isn't it. Keep us updated with tests but yeah if it was me I'd wait now for AF!

Thanks @Hope18 - it’s so hard to wait! Still have back ache today and cramping, but no other signs of AF. What cycle are you on?
