Anyone else ttc #2?

My dd is 11 months old and we have decided that now is the time for number 2! My daughter took 18 months to conceive with a mmc in between, so I'm expecting a long journey. This is my first month and I'm on cd4.

@caz198917 thank you, I think I’ve messed it up this month though. DTD too early because I thought I was ovulating, but now I think it happened almost a week later.

I think that was my problem with cycle 1 and 2. Temping and opks really helped this month xx

How's everyone doing today? Noticing my OPKs are starting to get gradually lighter since yesterday morning's strongest positive, so feeling hopeful that we covered all bases and now the TWW begins. At least my MIL visit will be a good distraction from wanting to test/symptom spot.

@PartyPotato this is my first month using OPKs and Clear Blue ovulation tests and honestly I am shocked at when these seem to say I've ovulated as I thought it was earlier, or maybe it changes month to month for me. It's still early days and I'm sure those lovely BFP moments are coming for the rest of us too ☺️

Hi @Maddie2802 , ah that's lovely especially with your little one's birthday coming up. Hope you catch some of the luck from this thread! My AF is due 6th Oct so a similar time to you. Do you mind me asking how long it took to fall pregnant with your daughter? For me it was a long slog of "seeing what happens" - booking a holiday seemed to do the trick in the end! Found out the day before we left 🤦‍♀️

Cd11 and another blank circle. This time last month I had fairly dark lines on my opks. 🧐

@Goodgoodthings I tried OPKs when TTC first time and I honestly could never get a positive no matter how much I used them, even though I’ve been pregnant twice so obviously do ovulate! I go by CM and cervical positioning.
The month I conceived my son, we DTD the week I thought I ovulated, then the week after I had more EWCM so we DTD some more. I still don’t know which week I actually ovulated, I’m just glad I covered two weeks to be on the safe side 😂 think I’m gonna have to do the same thing this time round. I might try OPKs again, see what they say. But personally they just caused me stress and annoyance.
So now I could possibly get AF at the end of this week, or could be next week!

Right I’ve just ordered some proper clear blue digital ovulation tests, hope they’re better than the little sticks

@PartyPotato it's so annoying isn't it - we're all so different. My cycles are all over the shop so it's going to be an expensive (and stressful!) thing to keep up. I hope you have some luck with them.

@Chanel05 could you be ovulating a bit later? I didn't get a flashing smiley until CD16, static CD23 and what seemed like peak cheap OPK on CD25am. So frustrating to see the blank circle, and the flashing smileys 😑

@Goodgoodthings same here, mine are normally about 35 days but my last one was 28 days, which is how long they were before I had my son… so now I don’t know whether they’re going back to how they were before? Or was it a one off? So annoying! On CD 27 now so will see how long AF takes this month…

Hi 😊 My daughter was a surprise and we weren't trying for a baby at the time so will be interesting to see how long it takes this time round. My period is due 3rd October which was my LGs due date! So hopefully we get lucky 🤞🏻

Grabbed a couple of tests, ready to test on the 25th (which happens to be my boyfriends birthday too, so hopefully it'll be a great present for him! He's been broody for much longer than me.)

How are you all doing today?
We are TTC #2, DD is almost 14 months. I have PCOS so took us a while first time round but this time I’m feeling far more chilled about it so hopefully that will help a little bit!
I’m tracking BBT and EWCM, according to BBT I may have ovulated on Tuesday, but still got a small amount of EWCM (too much info, sorry!) but hoping that’s just leftover and not actually producing more. Wait and see over the next few days if temp stays up, we DtD Monday and Wednesday so hopefully we have timed it right!

We should all have medical degrees the amount we know about women’s bodies and fertility!

Ttc #2, DD just turned 3 this month.. This is cycle 1, AF due 29th..
We didn't DTD much as it was her birthday and we also had alot of illness..!! Only did it twice but it said they were the "highest days" being a 8 or 9 level on this app..
I thought we got a positive on FRER yesterday, but today's was negative so probably evap although could be too early?
I'll send over my picture of cycle month..
Any Opinions please welcome as to weather it would be too early or if I'm more than likley out? Sending luck to all for this month xxx

Guess it's not my time... Negative.
Now I have to go through a week if my boyfriend complaining next month 🙄😆. Men... complain when they don't get enough, complain when it's too much.

CD30 here, negative PT. My last cycle was 28 days but before that they were 35 so looks like I’m back the old cycle length and it was a one-off. Definitely missed it this month, didn’t DTD at the right time.
