Hi Ladies

Thought I would create a channel for July / August TTC for those who didn't receive their BFP's this time around

I'm on CD2 now after sadly AF arriving. TTC no1 at 32 and this will be Cycle 4

I'm currently isolating with Covid after having 1 jab (which really messed with cycle 2 and 3) expecting DH to test positive v soon!

So sorry if I miss anyone or if you haven't got your AF yet or had a BFP ! But wanted to capture a few people as I've found these channels super helpful!

Just taken a clear blue digital and it says 'not pregnant' 😔😭

Hi all, first month TTC and could do with some help/advice. I’m on CD 10 today and did an ovulation test this morning and it said I’m not ovulating. My cycles are usually 28/29 days however my last one was only 21 days (I think due to covid vaccine). I’m now panicking that I’ve already ovulated this month and have missed my chance. My period was CD 1-5 and then we DTD on CD 8 and 9 but I’m worried that if my cycle this month is also only 21 days then maybe we should have started earlier around CD 6 I’ve got the CB advanced ovulation tests so will keep doing them for a few days to see if maybe I’m just ovulating a little later than expected but my Flo app is saying I should be ovulating in 2 days so I expected the test this morning to pick something up?

@Twochews78 yeah 2 and one was sort of family too, it just feels like a knock each time!! Yeah so going with the flow in hope that I get lucky as annoyingly the time I did get lucky I did zero tracking, so thinking that’s the way to go this month, I’m finding it ok so far, poas this morning and got a flashing smiley so I’m nearly there, we shall see!!
Cycle day 22 sounds early for your af to show, its do rubbish isn’t it when you feel like it’s not your month, iv definitely known each month it wasn’t meant to be! Maybe I need to hope for more!!
It’s hard when your our age isn’t it, because taking a month out is precious time now!!

I'm wondering if that's an early positive. If I go by EWCM, I ovulated last Wednesday. Who knows 😂

@storkstalk I would keep testing, unfortunately I have missed it before so I now start on cycle day 5.

I didn't ovulate at all after my first vaccine sadly and think some people are the same but it should regulate.

Keep testing though and best of luck !!!

@storkstalk if your normal cycle is 28/29 days then ovulation in days 12-16 would be "normal". The ovulation tests can go from low to high very quickly, so definitely worth continuing to check each day for the next week or so.

Anybody able to see a line? Or just wishful thinking x

I have come down with a massive cold and headache today, did a one ov test and got flashy smiley face I think I should ovulate today/ next 2 days - hoping I am feeling better tomorrow to get down to DTD!

Hopefully you feel better soon! Nothing worse than DTD when you're poorly! 😔😔

@Itsjustme20 clear blue digis are 25miu maybe you just need a frer... fingers crossed for you! I've started spotted think af's on her way x

I think so! It's 2 different brands with 2 separate pees as well 🤷🏽‍♀️

Hello ladies been watching for a couple of months.
I'm 30 and TTC baby#2
I'm currently CD 10 and expect to ovulate around CD 17. I use CBdigital OPK and going to start testing tomorrow but I'm due my 2nd Covid jab so cautious this may affect my cycle.
This is cycle3 of TTC. I have a DD who is 7 months.
I have endometriomas on both ovaries and worried this may affect my egg quality but not sure if they affect the eggs like that.
I have been pregnant again since my DD (first cycle after pregnancy) but sadly that ended in MC.
What would everyone recommend in terms of vitamins and does anyone use extra lubrication I know conceive plus do one?

Hi! Based purely on my own research (google!) I have been taking vitamin d and folic acid for a couple of months. This month is our first month trying. I got them from Holland and Barrett and they weren’t overly pricy.

Also got some pre seed lube which we haven’t used yet but wanted to get some just in case. Apparently it doesn’t impact TTC at all

I have conceive plus and preseed... I bought preseed as everyone was talking about it but I find the applicator weird haha so am using conceive plus now! I think either will work

I will 😬 This is our first month! We were so sure it'd take a while but doesn't look like it 😳

Ladies, this isn't really TTC related though I doubt this month will be a month worth counting..

On Saturday 31st July I felt really rough at a hen do, I had headache, fever, sickness. Then Sunday I felt rough too so my partner and I both tested using lateral flow and it was negative for me and positive for my partner.

We both started isolating from Sunday 1st august and are still doing so.

I then ordered PCR tests which came Tuesday and my partners was positive and mine was negative.

I felt better thorough out the week too.

Then Sunday just gone felt a bit rough with a cough and fever but no loss of smell or taste.. took a lateral flow today and it was positive so ordered a PCR test.

What on Earth do I do if I got symptoms back then?

Could I have been infected then but it wasn't picking up on tests?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm so upset x

Hi @Capricorn8990 so sorry to hear that I caught covid at a hen do a few weeks ago too. I have symptoms the Wednesday after but was testing negative on lateral flows, apparently its really common for it not to show up for a while. I tested positive on a pcr a few days later but only isolated from when I had symptoms as that's the advice on nhs website. I hope you feel better soon its not a nice virus but at least your immune system is getting a workout

@Capricorn8990 sorry that sounds really stressful and I'm sorry you're feeling rough.

I think it's unlikely that you were positive at the end of July when you had a negative pcr test - they really are reliable at detecting covid. My guess would be that you caught it from your DH this week.

Hoping for help from anyone using the CB OPKs, or people with short cycles. Each month the day I get my first flashing smiley gets earlier and earlier. This is my 4th month using, and results have been:

Month 1: high CD12 peak CD13
Month 2: high CD9 peak CD13
Month 3: high CD8 peak CD12
Month 4: high CD7 peak??

I seem to have a reliable 12 day luteal period. But having such early flashing smileys feels weird - today is my first test day, I only stopped spotting yesterday. Last month's 25 day cycle was the shortest I'd had since 2018 (pre-DD) and now this month's might be 24 days. I had really short cycles (23/24 days) pre-DD, but when I took preconception vitamins it made them longer. But I'm taking pregnacare and cycles are getting shorter!
