The July 2021 bus has arrived 1 day and 1 night early but you don't need a FRER to detect it! Just hop on. Grin

Let's hope for lots of positive vibes & lines and if the lines stay away, you'll at least find 24/7 shoulders to cry on! Glitterball Brew

No tickets required, just bring some pee in a cup and you're in! Wink

Hope I've tagged all the passengers but if you're not tagged - hop on anyway!

@Dollface20 it's so hard isn't it. Im due AF Friday too but I've got a cervical screen on Tuesday so will have to do a test before my appointment. Im terrified.
It may be too early for symptoms and could well be your month still.
🤞🏽 for us xxx

Carolinesturn · 25/07/2021 10:40

Hello everyone so 11dpo here and still experiencing cramping (started 7dpo ) and very slight discharge, only now a lot of the pain seems to be in my pelvis.
Does anyone else get spotting for so long before their period with cramps? Could it be a sign of pcos or low progesterone? This should be my second proper period off the pill so I don't feel I can waste the doctors time yet as the pain is very mild, could this be something that just sorts itself out?

Capricorn8990 · 25/07/2021 11:05

@mummytoolive @Dollface20 I have taken tests since 8DPO and I'm now 10DPO and all still negative 😞 fingers crossed for us xx

mummytoolive · 25/07/2021 11:16

@Capricorn8990 🤞🏽🤞🏽
It's so hard but try give yourself a day off testing the stress can't be doing you any good. With my first pregnancy I didn't test until 14DPO and symptoms didn't start until 11dpo so I think I implanted around 10/11 and if I had of tested earlier it would have been negative.

mummytoolive · 25/07/2021 11:22

@Carolinesturn I don't have any experience of this, it may be your hormones levelling off from coming off the pill maybe. Did you have any problems with your periods before you went on the pill?
I have endometriosis but never knew until I came off the pill and my symptoms were no longer being masked. I have severe ovulation pains and AF cramps very heavy bleeding for prolonged periods but there would be no spotting in between AF.
Not sure that helps xx

Capricorn8990 · 25/07/2021 11:29

@mummytoolive thanks hun. You've been such a support for me on here. I'll step away from the tests for now! Xx

Carolinesturn · 25/07/2021 11:47

Thanks @mummytoolive for your reply! How do you control your endometriosis? I've been on the pill for so long I've forgotten what they used to be like, I did come off briefly in 2019/2020 for about 4 months when I was single and not ttc and I remember thinking oh my periods are normal so nothing to worry about there but then went back on because of acne. But really do we ever pay proper attention to our periods when we arnt ttc? Maybe I was missing things that weren't important then.

WantStickyBean · 25/07/2021 12:01

Ok, weird question alert.

I'm 3DPO and this morning woke up with massive hives all over my lower legs, forearms and bum. Random as hell. I've literally done nothing unusual and am not normally an "allergic" type person.

Only time I've had hives before was in the first trimester with DD. Started as a few when I was about 7 weeks, progressed until by 12 weeks it was all of my body then resolved completely in second trimester.

This is way, WAY too early to be the same thing, right?

mummytoolive · 25/07/2021 12:05

@Carolinesturn since my diagnosis I had surgery privately and practically reconstruction of my ovaries but I fell pregnant cycle 2 after my operation and so symptoms improved with pregnancy then breast feeding. I'm in cycle 3 since my periods returned after stopping BF and I take Naproxen for pain but otherwise cope with the other symptoms as again TTC. Once we're done having babies I will look at more permanent surgery options.
You're right we don't really take notice of our periods but if your symptoms are mild I'd put it down to your hormones for now. I knew something was wrong straight away after coming off the pill because I was admitted to hospital with pain numerous times and had MC after MMC for 2 years before my surgery.
Easier said than done but try not to overly stress and distract yourself from it as much as you can 😘

mummytoolive · 25/07/2021 12:10

@WantStickyBean are you 100% sure if ovulation date?
How was your last AF etc?
I read on a forum somewhere that although true symptoms don't start until implantation our bodies are constantly trying to reproduce and this could cause them symptoms we dismiss as being too early or signs of AF when there's a little egg and swimmer on its journey to implant (I'm not sure how true that is) but it gave me comfort that my body is on my side and every BFN I've had was just as disappointing for my body as it was my mind.
Does that sound crazy 🙈😅

WantStickyBean · 25/07/2021 12:34

@mummytoolive I'm only on CD16 so there's no way I could have ovulated much earlier!

That is interesting though. I've had more of a google and apparently it's likely to be a viral response to the cold I've had. But still v weird!

Carolinesturn · 25/07/2021 12:37

I'm so pleased you got your baby @mummytoolive! And I hope you have equal success now, isn't modern medicine amazing!
Maybe I'm just being impatient, these cramps can in no way be described as severe but certainly changing my usual daily activities, I feel more sluggish and under the weather, I've ordered vitamins as follows b6, magnesium, and zinc also conceive plus also trying preseed this time as I really don't seem to get much if any ewcm.
Do you want a second child as much as you yearned for your first, I feel like if I had one I'd be so happy and wouldn't yearn for a second so much, but maybe it makes you yearn even more!

Flossy1982 · 25/07/2021 13:12

I always take tests early. I find it easier to cope with the 2ww even when I know there is no way it’ll probably show yet - I’m 7dpo and tested this morning 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I know I’m a moron!
I always symptom spot even when I try not to as well 🤦🏻‍♀️
I’m feeling positive this month, I have no idea why but I just feel different but it could be the seven seas ttc… heavy boobs not painful just aware of them. I’m aware of my lower back & tummy also today - nothing like AF pain but slightly niggling, 7 days of testing for me & symptom spotting 🤣

wellitywell · 25/07/2021 14:35

Been lurking for a couple of months and this is a lovely supportive group! Yay.
11 DPO and did an early test this morning but it was a no. (Didn’t think we dtd enough and I’m still learning about my ovulation date) plus I’ve had some beers this month!
Anyway, can I be on the August bus? Smile
Sending all the good vibes to you all x

Flossy1982 · 25/07/2021 15:38

@wellitywell I’ve been lurking on the boards for a super long time & I commonly see BFP’s from one time dtd so you not out until the fat aunt shows! My first pregnancy (sadly ended in miscarriage) we only dtd once - a quickie on day 13 🤣 Sending baby dust your way 💫

Flossy1982 · 25/07/2021 15:40

Stocked up 🤣🤣🤣

Toot toot, it's the July 2021 TTC Bus arriving early
wellitywell · 25/07/2021 15:44

@Flossy1982 thanks! This is month three TTC, I am in no way worried about things, but I think like many, I was under the misconception that "you have unprotected sex once and you're INSTANTLY PREGNANT"... i feel like sex Ed and teenage magazines have a lot to answer for!!
I think my mum's "oh I got pregnant within two weeks of coming off the pill" wasn't helpful either, and I just assumed I was ripe and fertile. (Even at 35)
So sorry about your MC Sadsending all sorts of good vibes your way too. Xxx

wellitywell · 25/07/2021 15:46

@Flossy1982 haha! Full cupboards!! I bought some OPK today with my food shop- certainly stopped me getting ID'd for buying beers (I don't look that young, the checkout girl was new I think!)

Hi everyone,

I was just looking to start thread for August TTC club... will maybe wait.\AF has arrived for e sadly again this month so keen for a support group for August! I also contracted covid so am recovering from that and hoping August will be a re-set for me. I think I missed my ovulation or I didn't ovulate at all this month but feeling calm and prepared to manage August. Congrats to all the BFP and please lets continue the support group for the August TTC group @Fiep
xx

Flossy1982 · 25/07/2021 16:38

@Dollface20 bless you, it’s awful to feel that way. My Mum said to me about that last night when I said it was the 2ww again, she said you had to request a pot in the chemist only if you were late and wait for the call so no obsessive testing or symptom spotting. It’s a coping strategy for me to get me through if I test as I handle the negatives ok strangely but maybe that’s because I’ve seen so many! It’s really helping me this month reading everyone’s journeys & being involved 💫
Sorry to hear that @ViL89 :( roll on August for you. I’m still praying on July ➕➕➕➕

ViL89 · 25/07/2021 16:46

Thanks @Dollface20

Ladies I created an August TTC group for anyone who would like to join it 🤗🤗

mummytoolive · 25/07/2021 17:25

@Carolinesturn the yearn is just the same but the fear of my infertility isn't as bad this time. I was told to have as many kids as I want as close together as I could get them, hence TTC as soon as finished BF but there's always a pressure on you of some sort in the TTC journey. Is women don't have it easy.

I don't know what spurred me on but did a FRER when I got home from town and there's a faint pink line, I had a chemical last month so darent feel too happy just yet but it's a good start 😅
