The July 2021 bus has arrived 1 day and 1 night early but you don't need a FRER to detect it! Just hop on. Grin

Let's hope for lots of positive vibes & lines and if the lines stay away, you'll at least find 24/7 shoulders to cry on! Glitterball Brew

No tickets required, just bring some pee in a cup and you're in! Wink

Hope I've tagged all the passengers but if you're not tagged - hop on anyway!

@Cheekymonkey3112 strangely I'm fine! Just find I'm awake for a couple hours every night from 2/3am

Carolinesturn · 23/07/2021 08:05

@Countingchicks and @Cheekymonkey3112 what does it mean when you are 3+6? Etc thanks x

Countingchicks · 23/07/2021 08:19

@Carolinesturn it means 3 weeks and 6 days

TtcNumb3r · 23/07/2021 08:50

@Nervousdave if your actively trying to lose weight could be rebalancing your hormones?

@jemrose this is first month ttc for us but I've been tracking since cycle returned after bfing DS2. We have got pregnant first time, every time. 2 kids, 1 mc in between. I'm 36 now and longer gap this time so thinking it may take longer - we'll see!

Carolinesturn · 23/07/2021 09:09

Aw I see, thanks for that

So new developments on my side so brown spotting which was always super light, never in knickers just a tinge in cervical mucus started Wednesday afternoon 7dpo and was at its heaviest after dtd last night, well today all but disappeared! Do you think I can be hopeful? I'm still a bit cramps but definitely feel... different if that makes sense. I'm 9dpo today but I've told myself I can't test until 14dpo, also the day I'm due to get second covid vaccine. Anyway do you guys feel it's good to get hopes up and think positive or do you think it's better to manage expectations by expecting the worst... I'm trying not to think I could be pregnant but maybe that's the wrong approach

SkaterChick · 23/07/2021 10:47

About 4/5dpo. Had some horrible cramps on myleft side and my boobs are getting sore... All feels like my usual lead up to AF :( gonna be a LONG 10 days!

mummytoolive · 23/07/2021 10:48

@Capricorn8990 🙈 I know haha

How many DPO will you be when you do your next test? I'm going to a family gathering tomorrow but darent test because I'll only be 9dpo and I didn't get BFP until 14DPO with my first 😬

Also symptom spotting like mad, any little twinge in my uterus or boobs and I've convinced myself it's a BFP 🤣 I had a coffee this morning and felt sick afterwards for around 40 mins so in my mind I must be pregnant haha!

RosettaTheGardenFairy · 23/07/2021 11:46

I'm also 5dpo but with no symptoms whatsoever. That's not stopping me googling ideas for a hallowe'en pregnancy announcement - a sort of non-distraction from POAS time!

SkaterChick · 23/07/2021 12:07

@RosettaTheGardenFairy omg I hadnt even clicked that if I conceived this cycle I could do a Halloween announcement after the 12 weeks ....

RosettaTheGardenFairy · 23/07/2021 12:35

@SkaterChick yeah I'm not in the UK anymore but all my family is, so given the lack of travel at the moment, if I do get a BFP in the next 6 months I`ll need to announce by whatsapp. Definitely calls for a cheesy photo Grin

SkaterChick · 23/07/2021 12:38

@RosettaTheGardenFairyaww I hope you get to see your family again soon! I'd love to see what you come up with for an announcement!
I recently got a onesie of the dudes fave football team to give to him when we hopefully get a bfp. I had asked if he wanted to be there when I took the test and he said nope just tell me.

WantStickyBean · 23/07/2021 14:53

I had another acupuncture appointment today. It's my third one: the first wasn't good, second was with the specialist that was a lot better.

Went today, she asked a couple of questions then stuck the needles in and left the room. I got really upset - it started to feel really ridiculous that I was spending all this money on this (and DH isnt happy about the spend), but I've been hanging my hopes on this helping TTC and suddenly it all seemed really pointless. She came back in to check my pulses, asked if I was ok and if I wanted her to stay. But I was embarrassed and said I was fine. When she came back in again I was clearly not ok, she took the needles out immediately at which point I totally broke down for "failing" acupuncture, she patted my shoulder then as soon as I pulled myself together asked for payment and showed me to the door. Was £60 and I was in there for about half an hour.

So sorry to hear of your experience. It's all so overwhelming and emotional. I guess it becomes routine and everyday for someone when it's their line of work. Still a shame that she couldn't have shown a little more compassion. Hope you're feeling a little better.
Speccybibliophile · 23/07/2021 16:12

Been reading through most of the posts. Completely relate to all the symptom spotting. Had really bad cramps (pretty similar to period cramps) the last two days... Was very intense last night. I'm going to wait until period is a few days late before testing, otherwise I know I will fall down the vortex of non-stop testing and the crying and disappointment that negative tests will inevitably bring

Speccybibliophile · 23/07/2021 16:15

I can remember being so upset and bursting into tears randomly when we were trying for our first. Really don't want to repeat those feelings this time around. Helps that I have a four year little madam to keep me distracted. Really exciting to hear about the BFPs on this thread.

FinnsMammy · 23/07/2021 16:37

@Cherryblossom21 I have a 22 month old who I didn’t even try for I just came off the pill and got pregnant. With my chemical it was our first month of trying and my MC or second month this is my first cycle post mc so I’m feeling hopeful! I’m sad I had a mc but so many women try for months on end to get pregnant and then to have that baby taken from him is so much worse in my opinion so I feel fortunate in so many ways! DPO 1 for me tomorrow let’s hope we get our sticky beans 🤞🏻🤞🏻

mummytoolive · 23/07/2021 16:42

@Speccybibliophile how many DPO are you currently?
And do you have any other distraction tips?

I know it's a waste to POAS if it's not FMO so I always run to the toilet and wee as soon as I wake up before I can think about testing 🙈🤣xx

Nai86 · 23/07/2021 17:27

Hi everyone, just caught up on posts congratulations to those on the BFPs! And lots of hugs and love to those who have lost. I've been absent from everyone for the TWW as I just feel so anxious about testing, just want it so badly now. I've currently DPO 12 not done a test my pre mom app says AF is due on the 25th and the flo app says the 28th. I'm just too scared to test for fear of disappointment. DH has expressed his desperation for a baby too ... which has naturally created a bit of pressure on me. Just need to write down my thoughts. Spreading baby dust to everyone ❤💫

Flossy1982 · 23/07/2021 18:01

@Nai86 fingers crossed this is your month xx it’s awful waiting. I’m only 6dpo so still a way to go before I know if it’s my month.
Im quite resilient when AF has come and I look forward but the waiting & not knowing is hideous for me. I enjoy seeing the positive tests of others it really gives me hope that mine might do that this time 💓 let the last ride on the July bus be full of them ➕➕➕➕

Nai86 · 23/07/2021 18:49

@Flossy1982 I love this online community it can be so comforting. Definitely love seeing the positives, makes me feel that my goal isn't out of reach. Just can't wait for the day I get a BFP. Agreed 😊 let's have lots of BFPs ladies! ❤

Speccybibliophile · 23/07/2021 19:56

I'm on CD21 but don't track ovulation. My cycles have settled down to between 29-30 days (usually 29) and have been pretty regular for about a year or so. They were really irregular before that. I'm 6 DPO according to the flo app. Impatiently waiting for the beginning of August so I can test. Period is due to start on the 1st. I hate seeing a negative test, I think I'll cope much better if my period arrives rather seeing a negative test in black and white, if that makes sense. Of course I'm actually desperate for a BFP rather than AF.

Don't have any distraction tips as such but I just try to keep busy with family and activities. Much easier to do now that Covid restrictions have lifted... Swimming has been lovely but my fitness is not what it was considering I used to swim regularly pre-Covid. I must have looked hilarious stopping after every length to stretch my weary muscles and catch my breath Grin I'm only (!) 34 years old.

Your post made me laugh. My mornings normally involve running into my daughter's bedroom because she's woken up searching for me staying "mummy you forgot me" and demanding breakfast. Another blessing in disguise because I don't wake up thinking let's POAS! Wink

Speccybibliophile · 23/07/2021 19:57

*saying

purpleskyssssss · 23/07/2021 20:16

@Speccybibliophile I am the same as you hate seeing a negative test!

This month I tried to take the relax approach and it worked due to being busy until I checked my app (couldn't resist) 😒 and I was CD 25! I have tested every day since and I am now CD 33 and I have just started spotting so AF will arrive tomorrow so I know I will have a crap day and then onto the next cycle!

I have been ttc for 9 months now and I have noticed every other month is very irregular and the next month I am always 28 days - does anyone know if we alternate in the ovary that we ovulate??? Worried I might have one not working 100%

Also just to rub salt in the wound on AF arrival day the last 4 months EVERY month I have found out someone is pregnant within our friendship group, and tomorrow I have my best friends baby shower which I am excited for, but with AF in her first day of full swing I know i will go home feeling very emotional, we both came of contraception at the same time and started trying 😫

TtcNumb3r · 23/07/2021 21:12

@purpleskyssssss I know how you feel, our friends called us to tell us they were pregnant as I was miscarrying a couple of years ago. It was just voice call so we styled it out but I cried so much when we hung up. It's completely natural to feel the way you do. But keep going!! My little rainbow is 2 tomorrow and he is everything I wanted! ❤ I wouldn't have got him if I hadn't miscarried!
You will get your baby, keep believing!!

Speccybibliophile · 23/07/2021 21:20

@purpleskyssssss it's so difficult when loved ones get the good news that we're craving. I know others have mentioned the same in this thread. I've been there myself so I totally get the mixed emotions.

I'm not an expert but I'm sure we do alternate ovaries when we ovulate. I think 33 days doesn't count as irregular though so not sure it's anything to be concerned about. If you're concerned, speak to your GP, if nothing else it will clear things up.
