I started my ttc journey in May & although wanting to join the July ttc bus may make it seem im going into 3rd month trying I am STILL on cycle 1!! Cd70 today. I finally had a peak opk last thursday and i am now 4dpo so i guess July is going to be my first month - either finally getting af or get a bfp! 🤞🏼

Please can I join?

@CTMcG wow that's a long cycle but we can be cycle buddies for July: I am 5 dpo so just one day ahead of you! When are you planning to test? I have all the good intentions but know full well that I will be crying into a cup of urine and a spoilt FRER on 9DPO...

Hello! Thank you for starting a new thread I was starting to feel a bit panicky without it .

I had my first acupuncture appointment today. Wasn't quite what I expected - she put a few needles in then just sort of left me to it just periodically checked my pulse.

Took a long history but seemed more interested in my (admittedly quite unusual) MH issues than the TTC point. Told me to book a session before and after ovulation next cycle, but said it didn't much matter when.

My follow up will be with another lady, I think she's more fertility focused so hopefully will be good because today didn't give me that much confidence it's going to make a difference.

@Fiep haha that made me chuckle!! Ive only been off the pill 6 months and the 3 cycles prior to this one have been 45, 43 and 34 days so when i decided to start trying on the 4th cycle i thought, 'great, 34 days isnt bad for someone who is irregular'🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

I am going to try my damn hardest to wait to this time next week at least! The amount of tests i have wasted between cd35-65 has been disgusting! I wasnt tracking ovulation then so had no idea when i had ovulated and now i know i hadnt until last week im going to try so hard not to test early! Im still doing opks twice a day as i am so afraid my body didnt actually ovulate last week but opks have stayed low since so fingers crossed! Just because it took so long i am doubtfull it even really happened! This ttc business is fun! Lol x

That sounds a bit odd - did the clinic have good reviews? I'm considering booking some acupuncture once I get my hycosy out the way in July but unsure. Interesting to hear your experience, sticking needles, walking away and wondering whats going on is my worry as its not cheap..

@JemRose aww I bet hun, you're so right, it is cruel :/ cd1 is always a kicker isn't it. But, fingers crossed that you will have your bfp soon!! How old are you if you don't mind me asking? I'm 38 so I'm nearing the 6months of trying and then being allowed investigations. I don't feel like I need to go down that route yet but, it's an option I guess! X

Will be testing with a FRER a week today (but will start testing with Easy@Home strips from Sunday - way to early but I have no willpower)!

@CTMcG omg I can only imagine, my AF was a week late on my first cycle and I POAS every day despite myself. For it to go on 70 days sounds horrendous!!!!

Can I join? First month TTC#2. On CD9 just now. Had severe Hyperemesis with DS - he's almost 5 and it's taken me this long to be brave enough to try again.

@Sam8582 I'm 28, so I don't think I can get any fertility testing until we've been trying for a year, so if we don't get pregnant this month at least that option might open up to us! Although my doctor keeps saying that as I've had 2 pregnancies in the last year (both lost) that there doesn't seem to be a problem with fertility. Really hoping this is our month and all the heartbreak can finally feel worth it!

Hoping it's ok to jump on here. I'm pretty new to all this and currently about 7DPO. I track with clue but don't use OPK's. Mad symptom spotting but still about a week to go til AF is due 😬

Had 8 days of high fertility on CB digital OPK and finally got PEAK today on CD23!!! Can’t believe I’m ‘ovulating’ so late in my cycle as last ovulation took place on CD11.. but dtd the last 3 days and today, trying to be hopeful and not stress!! Going to attempt to dtd again sometime tomorrow as well 🤞🏼 Wishing everyone baby dust ❤️
