PS: it was quite nice going back over the thread to copy the usernames and see how many people were on the bus!

Had a really weird cycle this month (first one ttc DC2).

Normally I'm 31 days, with 5 days of med-heavy AF. This month, AF came 2 days early with spotting, then med flow for 2 days, then nothing, except a tiny bit in the evening when I wiped.

Its completely thrown me, my apps say I'm due to ovulate this weekend based on my usual cycle, but wtf was my most recent period?! I did a FRER just in case it was weird implantation or ectopic, but it was very negative.

Has anyone else had anything like this?

@Carolinesturn it could be implantation bleeding at 7dpo but if it isn't it could just symbolise that your progesterone drops quite quickly as far as I've read or it could be nothing. I've read that vitamin C helps progesterone and a high basal body temp is what encourages progesterone to be made. I was googling things to increase my bbt. I thought that your temp was high as a result of the progesterone but as far as I read your progesterone is high as a result of the bbt being high (I might be wrong).

Do you take any vitamins just now?
I'm no expert (obviously lol!) But I take a pregnacare max vitamin (because it has methylfolate in it), vit D, vitC, COQ10, and an extra folic acid. Again, I'm no expert but tried to do a lot of reading about it all. Some people will recommend some books that suggest what vitamins to take. I'm not sure though.

@nervousdave sorry, I haven't had anything like that but it could just be your body getting back into a routine after being on contraception- presuming you were. After a few cycles you will begin to see patterns and what is normal for you. Xxx

@Cheekymonkey3112 thanks so much for your reply, I've been so down about it, last month I convinced myself it was implantation bleeding but I'm trying not to get hopeful so I'm assuming it's not just now. It's so light though just two tiny dots on my knickers and slight brown tinge when I wipe, sorry tmi. I'm still getting my cramps too. I didn't want to start any vitamins until I'd done a couple full cycles off the pill as if it ain't broke.... however I think now is the time to start. I want to take vitamin B but do you know when to take it? Just after ovulation I think, or the whole way through?

@Cherryblossom21 thanks and I hope you are feeling better too it’s not a nice thing to go through at all. How did you get on? I was CD 13 yesterday and had 4 blank circles in a row last one was 8pm last night so I assumed ovulation would be late then out of nowhere this morning I got a solid smilie no flashing at all... we dtd this am and I will again tomorrow and sat but hoping it’s enough ! Did you get your solid smilie ? I usually get 3 to 4 days of flashing before the solid so it was so unexpected! Hope I didn’t miss my window as we didn’t do the deed at all since last sat ! 🙈 hope this is our month ! Xx

@Dollface20 8DPO is super early the majority of ppl don’t implant until 9DPO. Earliest I ever got one was 10 DPO. That said I would still do a cheap test at 8DPO if I had one lol no harm in testing this early but I’d defo test again in a few days if it was negative ! Best of luck xx

@FinnsMammy thank you 💗 I’m definitely feeling better and more positive about everything now. Oooh that’s annoying, no warning at all then 🙈 No don’t worry you won’t have missed it, if you just got it this morning then you still have a couple of days (as you will ovulate 24-36 hours after the static then I’m sure the egg hangs around for a bit lol). Like you say just do it again tomorrow and next day too and cover all bases lol. I got 2 days of flashing then yesterday morning I got a static on CD11. We had only done it once before the static as my period dragged on until Sunday, so we done it Monday then twice yesterday and this morning 😂 same as you will do it tomorrow and Saturday too. I really hope this is our month!! Will you test early? Xx

@Nervousdave have you changed diet or added vitamins? Both have affected my m-flow.

Self referred to the maternity hospital so hoping they call to offer me an early scan since we had a mc in Jan..if not I may just book a private scan as I definitely can't wait 12 weeks 🙈 hope you're looking after yourself too xx

Ovulation day for me over here 🙌 we've DTD EVERYDAY this week so feeling hopeful 🤞🤞🤞 anyone else about to embark on the dreaded 2WW?! I hate it. Everytime.

Yeh I'm ok, just can't stop eating 🤷‍♀️ had a clear blue test this morning and ordered more frers and 2 cb digital week indicator ones so going to wait a few days and take that in the hope I get a 2-3 and then a 3+ a week later x

Yeah I’ve been reading up today that the day before abd day of ovulation are the best 2 days for ttc 🤞🏻I’m not sure if I’ll test early this time I’ll see how I feel usually I start testing around 9 dpo lol but after a chemical pregnancy abd then MC at 11 weeks back to back I’m just not that excited to test early anymore 🙈what about you ?

Yeh I'm ok, every day is dragging in now until I get to 6 weeks where I can book a scan 🤞 I've bought the clear blue weeks indicator tests so hoping to do them a week apart and get a 2-3 and a 3+ 🤞🤞 how are you? Xxx
