Hi!

I have been TTC this month. I got a flashing smiley face on the clearblue OPKS this morning so all is looking good! I would love to talk to anyone else who is also TTC this month... I am currently driving my husband mad as it's all I can talk about. 😊

CD13 for me and no sign of the peak OPK yet. I think it'll come tomorrow or Monday. Although I'm not quite sure how it works because I read that you are fertile up to ovulation, and then the day after. So if you see peak presumably you have missed some fertile days already!? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Who knew getting pregnant would be so hard..

Hey @MrsRosaline! CD 11 here! I said I wouldn't test this month but I've given in for the purposes of properly tracking my cycles! First flashing smiley today so I'm expecting peak tomo as I've only ever got one flashing smiley before peak before! Last cycle it went straight to peak! I think you're right it's best to have sex in the lead up so I'd be just trying to DTD every day or every other on flashing days then both peak days and maybe the day after!!! X

Sounds like a good plan! I've had flashings for six days now!

I was feeling really positive this cycle but I currently feel a bit sicky and I've also had some light spotting which is weird. I've never seen any blood mid cycle before 🤷🏻‍♀️

It makes me anxious that I don't get many flashing smileys-I worry that my estrogen levels are too low or something! Have you been DTD lots on your flashing days!? Z

Your partner is a machine @MrsRosaline! Do you pretend that you want it every night too or do you tell him about the flashing!? 😂 x sounds like you're totally covered! Although after last month when the I ovusense told you you'd ovulated afew days afterwards that would make me want to keep going at least another week! I think I'm going to keep going after peak day this time if at all possible! X

I think this month I'll keep going until OvuSense has confirmed ovulation! Hopefully it's not too much longer... I just tell him that it's time 😂

Hi gals! I've just joined here, I hope you don't mind me tagging on to your thread!
Just finished my first cycle TTC, I got really excited yesterday thinking that I had started spotting (as it was 6 days before my AF was due) but unfortunately it's turned into full blown AF 😞
I'm pretty disappointed, but I'm trying to get on with it! It would be lovely have some ladies to talk to about all this as I think my partner is sick of all the TTC talk 😂

Haven't tried Ovusense, is that the one where you have an internal monitor? I had my first jab yesterday so hoping that doesn't knock anything off. So far I have resisted buying the sticks, on CD10 not for a good feeling about this month though 😕 think my start DTD soon as usual ovulate one CD17 x

Welcome @Nicoleamdavies! Agh sorry to hear your period arrived so early! That must have been so disheartening! I think the first cycle is the best! Full of hope etc, so it's disappointing when it doesn't happen! I'm on my third month and already had enough! Conceived my daughter second month of trying so I'm already worrying somethings wrong/that it's not going to happen! I always tend to think the worst though! X

I've just noticed some brown/pink discharge, only the tiniest bit and literally only just happened so not sure how long it will go on for. Deffo not implantation related as i think i'm only 4 dpo, can i take it as a sign i definately ovulated? Just to recap i had 5 days in a row of solid smilies on my opk so think my body had 3 attempts.

Hi @Nicoleamdavies - my husband also rolls his eyes with it all and says "let's just have sex". It's frustrating isn't it and I also convinced myself 100% I was pregnant first cycle. The first time I used OPKS I conceived my daughter so like @newtolineofduty I'm thinking 'What's wrong with me!'

5 days in a row of solids @Beleeve? Were you using a different monitor each time?

I'm on day 7 of flashing smileys, which is the most I've had ever. Something is definitely weird this cycle. I usually get my peak on CD14/CD15 so hopefully I see it tomorrow. And just a heads up @newtolineofduty OvuSense is predicting ovulation for Thursday 🤣 and yes @LittleDoveLove it's internal you wear it overnight.

Hi @MrsRosaline by monitor do you mean the actual bit you put the test strips into? Now you mention it i did but i know at one point (can't remember which day it was) i put the strip in and instantly the error symbol came up so i had to switch to a different one. I wonder if one of them was dodgy and giving false readings, i've only ever had 2 days of solid smilies before!

@Beleeve usually you test until you see the solid, and then the solid is displayed for 48 means meaning you can't use the test holder again. Although I think there are two different types, I use the ones that also show flashing smileys, perhaps you are using ones that either show low or peak? Not sure

Well I haven't actually received my solid smiley yet so I think that I must have a slow build up to LH surge, and then again I must ovulate a few days after the surge! It's all so slooooow

Ah yeah @newtolineofduty it is super disheartening coming on so early, I was so excited yesterday morning 😅! My friend just came round to visit with her 1 year old, and as much as I love him, it proper hurts! I'm sure I'll get there eventually, but I'm just worried that my body won't do what it's supposed to! I'm also always thinking of the worst on a situation, whereas my partner is SO positive about everything, it's great, but sometimes you just want someone to be sad with!

I get you @Nicoleamdavies. In the first cycle we had sex EVERY DAY over the fertile period, including ovulation and the day after. I still can't quite understand how that didn't work, so like you I jump to the conclusion that there must be something wrong! Oh well, we shall see this month...

Hey everyone. And welcome to the newcomers 👋🏽 CD 9 for me today. Feeling a lot more relaxed this month. DH and I haven't even DTD since CD 5. Not doing SMEP this month.

@newtolineofduty any success with cervical mucus? TMI alert but I am practically swimming in the stuff 😂 all the grapefruit juice and evening primrose oil must be doing something anyway!
