@Henslovetoscratch

Hello folks! Thanks for the add. Been a bit quiet just plugging along with life and trying not to Google! Congrats to all the amazing BFPS!! Great news and so exciting! Going into cycle six and not doing opks or anything this month, was making me really stressed. Hope everyone is keeping well and enjoying some sunshine 🌞
Your own well being is so so important! So I am glad you're eliminating some of the stressors on the ttc road. Wishing you good luck and hope it's your time. 🙏💕 Keep us posted!!

@got2be I do believe progesterone helped me.
I don't think I do anything extra that you ladies don't do but here it is:
-prenatals
-progesterone
-bromocriptine (may only apply to me, because my prolactin showed higher and it's been linked to multiple miscarriages.)
-tracking ovulation with easy@home and last cycle I also tracked bbt
-dtd when I see LH line is darker than test line, and then again the following day
-lay down for 30 mins after DTD with pillow under my bum

That's it that's all...

@KatRee aw thank you 😊 great you've got all the appointments lined up! Certainly helps with the struggles of ttc!

@Henslovetoscratch good plan! Do you think you'll seek intervention should cycle 6 not be the one?

Henslovetoscratch · 29/05/2021 20:09

@notyetamumbuttrying hello! Yeah we will probably chat to the gp about it though not holding out hope given many of the experiences chatted about on here!

@VixFromThe6ix thank you! And so true. Got to keep living (and enjoying it) whilst trying!!

notyetamumbuttrying · 29/05/2021 20:13

@Henslovetoscratch everyone's different tho. We're doing ivf through nhs so they can pull through sometimes. Hopefully this is it for you two anyway 🤞🏾

KatRee · 29/05/2021 20:20

@Henslovetoscratch I have to say my GP was great- ordered blood tests and referred us to fertility clinic straight away. Problem was getting through to the clinic to arrange the tests they told us we should have- but we would have been able to do it with a bit more persistence- it just seemed like it would be less stressful getting them done privately, so that's what we're doing

KatRee · 29/05/2021 20:21

@Henslovetoscratch Hopefully you'll get you're BFP next time around anyway 🤞

ElsieG3m · 29/05/2021 21:45

@Misty84 & @thislittlebird thanks for the hycosy and vaccine tips! Had my second jab today so dosed up!

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 huge congratulations! That is an amazing line for 9dpo! Wishing you a very happy and healthy pregnancy xx

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 29/05/2021 21:55

@notyetamumbuttrying that sounds like an awesome day! Good luck preparing for tomorrow.

@ElsieG3m thank you

@KatRee and @got2be yeah I've been really trying last couple of months 🙈. I think acupuncture has really helped me, I've had a weekly session since mid April. I've also been on ubiquinol for two months, and this month the It Starts with the Egg supplements intermediate plan. I did two months of soy isoflavones because my cycles didn't really come back after my miscarriage, and I feel it kind of reset me a bit. I tried so much though I can't say what might have helped x

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 29/05/2021 21:56

@ElsieG3m congrats on the second jab! Hope you don't feel any ill effects from it

ImpatientTTCer · 30/05/2021 06:26

@got2be I think everyone on this thread is doing everything already! And more than I did...

I was very lucky because when I told a friend we were planning on TTC soon, she recommended ISWTE and it was the first thing I read! Overnight I spent a fortune because I decided I needed stainless steel and glass everything in the kitchen, chemical free nail varnish, retinol-free anti ageing cream (that’s what really made me poor!) and the entire contents of Holland and Barrett for both of us (coq10 but just the “cheap” own brand stuff, pregnacare normal because the book scared me into not buying the conception one as it had inositol in it 🙄, E, C, D, omega 369, extra folic acid, “ultra man” vitamins for him, extra zinc for him, etc....)

BBT every morning, obsessively OPK 3-4 times a day which I’ve now swapped for pregnancy tests twice a day to make sure the line is getting darker 🙄

Finding this thread really helped me mentally, as I could talk to other people who were going through the TTC rollercoaster! You are all so lovely and supportive, and I feel completely invested in your stories and what happens next for you - so I hope you don’t mind if I lurk and keep up to date! I hope there are lots of BFPs soon, and for those of you who are starting further investigations and IVF, I have my fingers crossed for you xxxxx

ElsieG3m · 30/05/2021 06:37

@got2be thanks for the tip! Sorry I missed your post somehow - this thread mixes so quickly. How are you doing? Is your appt coming up v soon? Xx

ElsieG3m · 30/05/2021 06:38

Thanks to those newly pregnant ladies who have shared tips! Xx

ElsieG3m · 30/05/2021 06:39

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 thanks - bad pain behind my eyes so far is the only thing. Hopefully will calm down and nothing sinister xx

Bundaberg84 · 30/05/2021 07:41

Okay so after my BFN at 13dpo (in the evening) I was still late a day. I started spotting a bit. So I knew AF arrived. My DH said I should test before I have drinks. I met a friend for an afternoon so I bought an early test in the shops and did a test there and then. BFN again. Alright I said, at least I can have drinks tonight. Before we had BBQ i did another test. Saw an indent. Did the last I had. Very faint line. So confused! Ended up drinking non alcoholic drinks just to be on the safe side. Tested with my digital monitor - pregnant! I'm so surprised and can't believe it yet!

Noodella18 · 30/05/2021 08:12

Had another squinter yesterday and then this lovely pink line today ❤ Period is due on Wednesday so fingers crossed it sticks. It's funny, I was so relaxed about ttc this month, i drank a lot of wine, only took folic acid and vit d and we only had sex three times. We're camping this week, hence the weird background to the pic!

@ElsieG3m @A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 thank you so much ❤️

KatRee · 30/05/2021 09:00

Congratulations @Bundaberg84 and @Noodella18 ! Wonderful news! So nice to see so many successes on here recently

Thanks for sharing your tips @A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 and @ImpatientTTCer
Since I started new cycle 3 days ago, I've also moved to the 'intermediate' plan from ISWTE - spent about £100 on supplements yesterday 😩Hoping this lipoid acid thing and the extra ubiquinol does its thing! I'm also seriously considering acupuncture, but will probably wait a couple of months just because I'm already spending so much on Ttc!

Fingers crossed for the rest of us - hoping we all get there soon xx

Noodella18 · 30/05/2021 09:01

@Bundaberg84 congratulations 👏 💖

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 30/05/2021 09:22

@KatRee oh yeah it's painfully expensive right, I was flinching at the cost!

Marvellouslymadmum · 30/05/2021 09:23

@thislittlebird ooh I wish I'd known about that! Was fine after my second jab but not after the first.

@Bundaberg84 congratulations! This
Is such a lucky month for everyone, amazing!!

Here's hoping for lots of sticky beans for you all!!!
