Am on CD9 so getting ready for an intensive week of BDing except damn DH is moping around with a very mild case of man flu. He rejected my advances next week but has been told he has to be ready for action towards end of week. Feel bit mean doing this as I would go mental if he suggested that I had to BD when not in the mood.

Shazza can I be nosey and ask how much your CBmoniter cost? as no ov showing up on any sticks for last 3 months no matter what day I pee on them.

sarahnh · 14/11/2007 11:44

i understand, my dh had a "secret dd" that only reappeared the begining of the year.. she is 20 and really wants to get involved in family which is great, although i think that my dh thinks now he has 2dc ( well kind of) that he wants to just concentrate on our dd... i feel entirely different, i want another dc for me, for him and for our lovely dd...

dg Fairymuff. Everybody is different and what works for one doesn't work for others. I have read that recording temps is one of the most reliable ways to confirm OV. My problem is with a DD of 4 who doesn't sleep through I never get a full 'restful' nights sleep so don't think I could do it accurately .

foghorn Sorry about your DD, it's horrible when they're ill and you just wish you could be rather than them.

kirsty I have been lucky that my friend has leant it to me and she even supplied 20 sticks with it, very nice friend she is too. But I know they are £99 + £20 for 20 sticks. In the beginning you may use most of the sticks but going forward should only need 10 per cycle.

Shazza2002 · 14/11/2007 11:51

to sarah and annie who don't seem to be having a very good time of it.

I already have DD and am very grateful, but don't feel bad, when is a woman ever satisfied with what she has

BTW, spelling on last post terrible

Shazza2002 · 14/11/2007 13:25

biglips It seems your cycles can be all over the place after having/taking any form of contraception. As short cycle would be good as long as the lutael phase was long enough

Shazza2002 · 14/11/2007 13:26

ggg I am a believer in sods law, especially when it comes to wasting money. Else why would there be so many pairs of shoes out there but it's always sods law you waste your money on the uncomfortable ones

Shazza2002 · 14/11/2007 14:18

Just when things were looking great with my peak and all, BF just called to tell she she's 7 weeks PG. Whilst I ham very happy for her, I am also very . In fact I am so so happy for it and know she'll make a great mum.

Hate myself for it, this will be her first baby so she is so excited.

But now just want to sit in the corner and cry.

Sorry ladies, just needed to tell somebody.

sarahnh · 14/11/2007 14:27

well ladies just back from my first reflexology visit. Think it went quite well.. my fallopian tubes are all crunched up and stuff that i didn't really understand... when she pressed the area on my feet i nearly lifted off the bed... she reckons a couple of sessions will ease out the crystals ?! not really sure if i understand all this mumbo jumbo but hey if it helps me to get a BFP bring it on!!!!!!

you are being very brave shazza, have some chocolate on me and don't forget tonight could be the night!!!

glastochick · 14/11/2007 14:34

Hi Biglips. AF arrived on CD27. Is CD1 the first day of AF? If so, then I'm on CD6 of cycle 2, TTC#1.

Don't know why, but I really hoped we'd be successful straight away. Oh well, here's to plenty of BD'ing!

GreenGlassGoblin · 14/11/2007 14:42

shazza, I understand that feeling. One day this will all be in the past, and you'll be comparing toddlers (who will, of course, be almost identical in age). sarahnh I hope the reflexology works. Crystals though? [Hmm], but who cares if it gets the job done!

Shazza2002 · 14/11/2007 14:53

Thanks ladies for all your support.

I know I am being a complete evil witch but when TTC being reasonable goes out the window.

Just trying to untie the know that I currently have in my stomach

sarahn good news about reflexology, well not good there's a problem of course, but at least she's identified it and can hopefully sort it out. At least you sort of have a reason for not falling pg and she's gonna help you. Please hope that hasn't come across in the worng way atall

Shazza2002 · 14/11/2007 14:53

should be knot in stomach
