MissusH · 02/12/2007 18:10

Hellloooooo! Hellllooooo? Anybody there?
[tumbleweeds rolls gently through the waiting room...]

Well, I'll update the news from the Missus household anyway

Have had a fab weekend - dd stayed at grandmas so lots of sauciness yesterday am (didn't manage it Friday after we went out cos dh was "tired & emotional"). but then I forgot to pee on the opk yesterday (doh) and now I have ewcm and ov pains and dh has gone to work - grrr. He will be in at 12.30pm so I've given him prior warning

And I've got a new laptop!! (with Vista on it which is confusing me mightily...)

Other than that it's all good - how's everyone else?

cricri · 02/12/2007 18:37

I'm here *missusH! It's very quiet today isn't it?
I've been working all day (I work from home so it's not too bad) but did manage some bd'ing this morning. CD16 but still no on my CBD OPK. Not really noticed any EWCM either. Last cycle was 32 days so I probably haven't ov'd yet. This is the first cycle I'm really keeping track so I'm no expert!
Vista also confused me when I first used it but you soon get the hang of it. Lots of great features too.
Hope everybody else is OK?

Hi all,

Not been on mnet since Wednesday so sorry if I have missed anything. I'll do a big catch up tomorrow.

Just time to say now before logging off again...

that after 53 days of wondering where AF had gone that she is in the Bee household in full force!! I had spotting on Friday and it started properly yesterday, which makes me CD2.

Let the games begin!! It hurts like hell but I don't care. I'm back in the running.

I have a CBFM ready and waiting from ebay

Big hugs to everyone, and a big glass of wine for me!

well TEW has arrived in full force here today. Suppose I know she would show her ugly face as DH was too tired on the days when I am certain that i ovulated . Still feel really down in the dumps about it today. Will probably drink rather a lot over festive period now!!

glad your back in the game grinningbee

kirstygem AF's a b*tch sometimes. Hope you've got an extra large glass to soothe the pain tonight.

Happy bd-ing to all those expecting an egg soon

Am still awaiting AF, but she might not turn up till Wed/Thursday. Although I really feel like she's on her way and have started calculating fertile days over the Christmas holidays, I'll still be disappointed because we did loads of bd'ing over the right time.

Bucky2007 · 02/12/2007 20:46

Fingers crossed for you dg

I hopefully am in the process of hatching an egg . So let's hope Bucky gets lucky....

Bucky2007 · 02/12/2007 20:48

grinningbee glad you can start proper now. Some say you are super fertile after MC so hopefully you won't have to wait for long ...ooh am watching Top Gear and that sounded like the Stig intro...Some say that...etc.

MsSparklingXmasTree · 02/12/2007 21:06

Hiya, well i don't think i am pregnant this time. It was a long shot being the first month off the pill.

I am gonna test on Wednsday if AF doesn't turn up. I think it will be BFN again so i have decided to stop trying until about May next year and aim for a Spring 09 baby. This will give my body a chance to get back to normal after being on the pill and get my cycles into a regular pattern so i will know roughly when i am ov. At least if my cycles are regular i will know when AF is due and so i can test knowing she is definatly late.

This will also give me a better chance of knowing a due date if i get pregnant as i will know when my last proper AF was.

I have my dd to keep me busy in the mean time...

MissusH · 02/12/2007 21:43

Hi again, bit busier in here now - hurrah just been watching top gear too!

glad af has finally turned up grinningbee -did you use a private detective in the end ?

sorry that you are taking a break mssparkling - sods law will probably apply and you will get a bfp when you least expect it!!

I have a dilemma... I have a works xmas party on Saturday. Swanky hotel, overnight stay, all expenses paid, spa etc etc. but I'll be well into the 2ww. Do I have a drink or not?? Before I got my bfp with dd I had a few weekends where copious amounts of alcohol was consumed, but we were not really ttc.... This time around is different. Sensible missus says no, but...?

Mrsei25 · 03/12/2007 01:19

hi everyone!!
sorry to see so many of you were caught by the dreaded AF!!
sfxmum sorry to hear your news but its nice to see how positive you are about the situation. after my MC (it was about 5 years ago now) i couldnt see any positive or rational side to the situation and it really bothered me for a long time (it still does now sometimes.) you sound really strong and rational about it but if you need us all you know where we are ears poised ready to listen hun xx big hugs for you {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}
i (stupidly) decided to do a pg test today even though im not due a visit til next week (im usually about 31-33 days in my cycle) and...yes...you've guessed it...it was bfn[ggrrr] but i expected it to be so i wasnt too disappointed even though my poor DH was gutted- it was all over his face!! i think he has built himself up to expect a bfp straight away even though it took us 9 months to get pregnant with DD.
but who knows it might still be our month iv just gotta be more patient and wait til next week...

TwilightSurfer · 03/12/2007 01:28

I've been trying to catch up. Miss a day around here and you're completely out of the loop.

DG the fertility friends site confuses the H3$$ out of me so I'm going to try and track temps in a plain old-fashioned spreadsheet. Temping at this stage in my non-cycle cycle (post-MC) is dumb BUT the past three days I've had high temps consistantly . {{Twilight laughs at herself for thinking a pregnancy could be possible at the present moment}}

Wishing everyone a positive week .

Spink · 03/12/2007 07:52

urgh. feeling horribly periody. still no knicker signs but she's imminent..
today is cd29 for me - if af arrives properly today, does that mean I have a 28 or 29 day cycle? I am more confused the more I think about it

Can I come and play? Been loitering here for a day or two, but the time has come to dip a toe in the water. Just starting ttc, and am on CD1 of my cycle (very useful timing on dp's part, agreeing to start ttc just before the beginning of a new cycle so I can plan appropriately!). I'm far too scared to copy the ttc list (my computer skills don't even stretch to copy and paste...), but if someone can add me I'll be eternally grateful.

Am feeling v overwhelmed with information, thought I'd done a lot of research before, but now we're officially trying I feel like I know nothing about ttc! There's so much info and support on here though that I'm hoping even my most random questions will be answered.

theowlwhowasafraidofthedark · 03/12/2007 10:09

Morning all,
I'm feeling newly positive this morning. Dp is going back to the clinic for a further test, something to do with antibodies.
Good luck dg & spink - I hope this is your month

digitalgirl · 03/12/2007 10:10

Hi Hopefully have added you and updated today's list. Did I get your details right? Welcome to the emotional rollercoaster that is TTC!

BFN for me today...got acupuncture later, will ask him why the hell I'm not pregnant and why, yet again, I've made it to CD37 without AF. Still, if it turns up before CD42 then it's an improvement on the last two cycles.
