digitalgirl · 27/11/2007 12:52

ow missusH sounds a little delicate. hopefully it'll heal quickly

MissusH · 27/11/2007 12:59

I'm such a div at the moment - everything I've attempted to do over the past few days has turned to cack so the sensible part of my head should have said "STOP RIGHT NOW - step away from the razor..." But no, I blundered ahead anyway!!

As the crucial bd'ing time is approaching my plan (if it hasn't healed properly) is to coat the cut with Germolene (local anaesthetic ). I know the smell will be a bit medicinal but dh will just have to keep his head out of the area!!!

Bloody hell, I'm sad.....

glastochick · 27/11/2007 13:37

Hi ladies

Promised to update digitalgirl and 07mumstheword in the 2WW thread.

Am on CD17. AF arrived on CD27 last time. Last week I had what felt like mild AF pains and someone suggested it could be ov pains (think it could have be you dg). Fingers crossed it was. New to this TTC business and learning about the workings of my body (been on the Pill for far too long trying to avoid conception!) and even about cm. I think my cm is what's required .

Unfortunately haven't been BD'ing as much as I'd hoped - Saturday and the Saturday before, plus last Wednesday. Thwarted by social engagements and tiredness by both of us. Just hoping DH's swimmers stayed around long enough for a date with my egg .

TwilightSurfer · 27/11/2007 13:38

MissusH best of luck with MrH. What a fine example of what WE do to get the good stuff.

MissusH Ouch how painful! I'm sorry but I had a huge whilst reading your story! How come we make so much effort? I so hope the pain is worth it and you get a BFP

JollyBear · 27/11/2007 16:53

Oh MissusH - Ouch!!! I don't know how you are going to BD unless you put a plaster on , not a sexy accessory, don't let your DH look!

MissusH - Ouch - Tell DH to be gentle. Very impressed with your effort though- so much for bringing on the romance.

Did make me though -sorry.

grinningbee - AF here yet ? and how is DH ?

TwilightSurfer · 27/11/2007 19:01

Okay ladies, now I'm scared to touch the razor for fear I'll blunder. I REALLY don't want that with having to be up in stirups tomorrow for new "DREAMY" girly-parts doc . Not the best first impression .

for all those who are down today. I almost hate to admit this but today is the first day in two months that I've felt energized. I'm making note just in case that's a sign that somethings cooking in the oven. WAY TOO early to know for sure but my mood is out of the ordinary. I even kept my cool when my DD smacked me up side the head at Target this morning...twice. She wasn't finished checking out the games Santa "might" bring her. The second time my glasses flew off my face . My inner Buddha stepped up and handled the situation with poise. Then I drove over to the YMCA and put her in the nursery so I could let my anger out on the treadmill. Yes, I even exercised today. HOLY GEEZ. Something's definitely wrong with me. I LOVE IT!!

Hellooooooo everyone!

DH update - he is fine thank you. Blood count seems to be good so they gave him a "flush out" treatment to get rid of any leftover nasties (sounds lovely doesn't it!).

We're now down to weekly blood tests for him, so fingers crossed it's second time lucky that it's all gone now.

As for me..... WHERE THE BLEEPITY BLEEP IS AF??????? Sorry for shouting. I think I'm 50 days post mc now but I can't remember. My (.)(.) are killing me and I feel odd, but I can't read anything into that.

Congrats to the new BFP's!!! What lovely news.

DH and I are attending two Victorian Xmas markets later this week. We tried on our costumes today... DH has decided to wear a victorian swimming costume. In November/December If anyone is going to the Warwick or Melton Mowbray one, you won't be able to miss him!!! He's decided to add a maids cap to the ensemble.....

Is anyone elses other half insane??

libralady · 27/11/2007 19:44

Sorry, have I missed something with your DH grinningbee?
Have you been BDing by any chance? There is a possibility you could have caught before the next AF after your MC.

grinningbee · 27/11/2007 19:51

Sorry Libralady, it must read a bit confusing!

DH was diagnosed with stomach cancer in May. We went through one lot of treatment and thought it was ok, only for him to be told it was back the week I ended up mc'ing. Mind you, he didn't tell me until afterwards so it wasn't the bad news iykwim.

Anyway!! Hopefully we're on the up now!

(even if he is insane....)

digitalgirl · 27/11/2007 19:58

omg grinningbee you and you DH have been through A LOT this year. it sounds like he's on the up, I really hope you two get a well deserved BFP soon. and no, don't think my DH would be seen dead in a victorian swimming costume, even in the height of summer! he thinks he's far too blue to expose his flesh upon the public.

Just updating as AF decided to put in an early appearance on monday

Apologies in advance if i haven't copied and pasted correctly

MsSparkler · 28/11/2007 10:55

Morning all, just said on the 2ww thread that AF still isn't here and i'm not sure whether to test or not. Tested Sunday and BFN so it probably wouldn't be BFP 3 days later would it? Maybe i should get a first response one?

What do you think?

grinningbee · 28/11/2007 11:15

Good morning MsSparkler,

Do you know what cd you are on (or how many days post mc)? I noticed you're in the infamous "waiting for AF section".

It's a real nuisance, isn't it!

I know on the boots packets it says to test 3 days after a bfn if still no AF, but maybe that's to sell more tests!!

Do you have any symptoms?

MsSparkler · 28/11/2007 11:20

I am on cd35 now! I had really bad tummy cramps for a whole week (last week.) They have eased off now but i though it was because AF was coming but still no bleeding.

I keep getting a "butterflies in my tummy" moment every now and then too.
