Hiya - do I need to add my name to that llist up there!

I'm on cycle 2 trying for my first ...

sarahnh · 16/11/2007 13:42

anniemac, you feel so bothered because you have done it before with a beautiful DD... I feel like my body has done this once, why won't it do it again??

The most important thing is that you are doing something about... i hope that the blood test show what they need to show.. and please please stay positive big huge hugs xxxx

Excitable · 16/11/2007 13:57

Anniemac I know what you mean - no one ever talks about how stressful it is trying to conceive. It's under this big shroud of secrecy that we should never talk about because God forbid that anyone should know if we miscarry.

Vent as much as you like here, my love. We get angry and upset too and it's all okay.

Day 38 and still no AF. "Something" is telling me it's not due for a while yet. "Something" has been prooved wrong in the past though...

Starlight and me testing tomorrow morning...

Anniemac big hugs and remember you always have us to talk to on here.
Excitable and starlight good luck for tomorrow.
Lots of EWCM here today so planning lots of BDing over weekend, regardless of DHs man flu!! I really not looking forward to doing it with a sick person but really want to conceive this month so need must [blush}.
My SIL had DC2 this morning and I really truly happy for her but little part of me did think I wish could be me.

MissusH · 16/11/2007 14:31

ok, AF has arrived in style so I'm back up where the air is thin on cd1....

drinks for me tonight (purely as a painkiller, you understand )

MissusH - I believe wine is compulsory on CD1 isn't it

Good luck for excitable and twilight for tomorrow too xxx

grinningbee · 16/11/2007 16:08

I am getting grumpy now!

Today is day 38 post mc. A couple of nights ago I had some strong sharp pains down below and thought AF was about to start.

Nothing.

TMI alert! I have had loads of ewcm, and this morning I had a go at cervical persuit (hahahahahaha!). Either mine is missing, or too high up for me to reach . Therefore, I would assume from what I've read, AF is not about to start.

What the flippertygibbet is going on???

I don't know how much longer I should wait for AF before going to the doctors.

I did a digital pg test last Saturday and it was negative...

I am very confused with what's going on.

Anyway. Rant over! Hope everyone else is ok on this wintery Friday

digitalgirl · 16/11/2007 17:37

grinningbee sounds like you're ovulating. get shagging!

sweetkitty · 16/11/2007 17:40

Grinningbee - I agree with DG, the EWCM sounds promising, I always got mine about 2-3 days before ovulation, would it be worth peeing on some opks tomorrow and the next few days, looks like your body is gearing up and getting back in business now.

DG - how are you doing lovey, I haven't forgotten you and your mega long cycles x

Thanks DG and SK!

we bd'd last night. Maybe I should suggest tonight too then.

Seeing as we're talking about anything ttc related - when bd'ing, has anyone felt pain/discomfort in their cervix? I wondered if it was because I was about to get AF.

Maybe DH was being too enthusiastic!

(Bee runs off all embarrassed)

digitalgirl · 16/11/2007 18:41

oops must have missed lily - if you're out there, please come back we are a very friendly bunch!

gb some positions are more comfortable than others when AF is due. i think it's due to the cervix being lower. perhaps you're not ov'ing, perhaps the EWCM and stabbing pains were implant related?? i say bd anyway, can't hurt!

Good luck starlight et al testing tomorrow.

sweetkitty hiya! am doing ok, have started acupuncture to try and shorten my mega-long cycles. got another treatment on monday. am charting temps to see when i ov, so no more end of cycle confusion. how's it over there on the ante-natal threads?

grinningbee · 16/11/2007 19:15

Hi Starlight!

I shall be waiting to see what your results and Excitables are.

I do have wee sticks (am secretly going to nip out while on the market stall tomorrow to get some boots ones again - ebay cheapies = rubbish imo!!). I'm trying to hold off because I got soooooo disappointed the other week when there was a faint positive on a boots ordinary test, followed by a negative on a digital.

TMI alert - following my last post about seducing DH tonight... I started typing this at 6pm... only finishing it now because DH got there first!

Lol.

Mrsei25 · 16/11/2007 19:33

lol GB!!
i was wondering if it makes much of a difference if you BD almost every night?? i mean in the way that the sperm count is altered or somethin along those lines?? thats our plan of attack this month bein month one and all!!
anywho good luck for those who are testing tomorrow!!
and {{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}} for those who have the dreaded AF xx
lots of luv ei xx

sweetkitty · 16/11/2007 19:56

grinningbee - get some ov tests as well I reckon you are oving, pmsl at all this BDing going on, you know every time I have got pregnant it's been quality over quantity although the first two were once that month (long story) so you never know. It's just as well you are ttc#1 you would never get away with dinnertime BDing with LOs about.

SK waves back at DG, I feel like I am in no mans land, don't feel like I should be on here as up the duff but don't feel like I should be on the antenatal thread yet, best of luck with the acupuncture

07mumstheword · 16/11/2007 20:21

GG I was at another friends today and her 3 month old was crying whilst she was sorting her DD out so I picked him up and gave him a big cuddle! (He may be a little old in African tribe circles not sure how newborn the baby has to be ) I would have anyway but in the back of my mind was a selfish reason! If it's good enough for Iman it's good enough for me!

I'm much brigher today, the reason: my boobs have grown. That all but I'm willing to hold onto any grain of hope for a BFP next week!

GB I get sharp pains sometimes during BD'ing I think its positioning. I always worry that if I'm in my 2 ww and I was to be PG would it hurt my chances of it sticking? But it's not supposed to affect it at all I believe?

Hello to everyone else. I've been really anti-social this week so I do apologise. Hi to all the newbies. And good luck to anyone testing this weekend.

Talking of testing can anyone help? I had a on my OV test a week last tuesday so I am 10 DPO today. How soon can I test? I'm due on next Fri. If I use a First Response (that you can do 4 days early) should I wait until Tuesday (4 days early) or was it Shazza that said you can sometimes test 10 DPO? So I could do tomorrow with FMU 11 DPO? I'm so bloody impatient!
