Oh Starlight, I'm so sorry. I'm going through just the same thing. Day 37 for me of a usually 28 day cycle. 9 days late and still no signs.

I've bought a test today and told DH I'm going to test on Saturday, but not sure if I want to now. I think I might just wait until CD 50 or something and test if I don't get AF then. I need a final answer and a BFN doesn't give me that.

I'm imagining all kinds of symptoms of pre-AF and pregnancy alternately, but the truth is I just want to know either way, really. The metal taste in my mouth this morning could have been the aftertaste of the earl grey I had just drunk, and the swollen belly could be water retention or it could be the big chippy tea I've just eaten!

Waiting...

Sorry to hear about your mc, Twighlight, but from a purely selfish point of view, I'm glad you're back

sweetkitty · 15/11/2007 21:03

hiya ladies just doing my usual checking up on you all

excitable - that sure is one long cycle

starlight - sorry about the BFN

big hellos to everyone else far too many to mention all of you, loads of baby dust to you all too xxx

TwilightSurfer · 15/11/2007 21:04

Hi Excitable. It's so nice to see familiar screen names (yes, and that purely selfish too).

You know ladies I've been reading (I should probably quit). Here's my latest internet find conception. It's a bit wordy but it very descriptive of the whole process. Maybe it will help those that are waiting and wondering what might be happening.

Me too - been getting really paranoid about checking in every day so that I'm not forgotten. I'd rather be known as having a freakishly long cycle, than be known as being rude and forgetting my new friends!

Shall I offer to test with you on Saturday - that's brought AF for loads of people, that has. And if it doesn't, then we'll both have company - waddya say???

cricri · 15/11/2007 21:40

Evening everybody. I'm another one who needs to keep checking in to make sure she doesn't get thrown off the stats list - CD31, no AF and BFN yesterday
On the November 2007 ttc after mc thread somebody posted links about home pg tests for me and apparently some women don't get a BFP until 7-10 days until after AF is due. Perhaps we're one of those women...
It's really frustrating isn't it - I just want to know what's going on one way or the other!

07mumstheword · 15/11/2007 21:57

Thanks Lockets DG Shazza & GG for your kind messages. GG wish I'd had a cuddle now!

I'm feeling better tonight I've had such a busy day and even managed to fit in a bit of "ME" shopping. Spent £250 (shhh don't tell DH) on clothes, undies and stuff. I'm hoping that sods law will kick in! If not it made me feel better anyway!

Sorry Starlight

Mrsei25 · 15/11/2007 22:29

hi
i was wonderin how do i add myself onto your stats board??
sorry to hear about your disappointment starlight xx i hope it happens for you soon (and everyone else for that matter!!) big {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} to you hun xx
love ei xx

Excitable · 15/11/2007 22:37

Mrsei it's easy - copy and paste the list and just press enter in the right place.

CD1 was the first day of your last period, so what number does that make you? Cycle number is how many cycles you've been trying to conceive for, and also put what number baby your baby will be.

Hope this makes sense.

cricri 7-10 days - REALLY???? OOOOOooooo, that makes me feel a bit hopeful. Somebody slap me, I mustn't think like this.

yay it worked!!

ladylush · 15/11/2007 23:20

Sorry starlight and excitable. Long cycles are so frustrating. Have you tried reflexology or acupuncture? Both are supposed to be good for regulating cycles. I haven't tried acupuncture but I did find reflexology useful post m/c for getting cycle back on track. Of course, it is difficult to say whether it is this that worked but I feel it's worth a try. Very relaxing too

Err whats the cycle is for again? as ive forgotton.

MsSparkler · 16/11/2007 10:44

Hiya, silly question but what does CD mean in your list?

digitalgirl · 16/11/2007 10:45

Cycle day, CD1 is the first day of your period (proper red flow, not spotting).
Cycle number is how many cycles you've been ttc.

Morning all,

starlight and excitable - fingers and toes firmly crossed that those long cycles mean those eggs just got released a bit later. {{{hugs}}}

I am going to try and add myself to the list if that is OK with you ladies? It may all go horribly wrong.....
