Hi ladies

I'm 23 and my partner (27) and I are TTC baby #1!

It was our first month trying this month and AF is due 2nd/3rd of March, so far just BFN! My cycle is roughly 26/27 days! But didn't expect to get pregnant first cycle so I'm feeling ok 👌🏼

Anyone else TTC baby no 1 with a similar cycle? 🥰 xx

I am 35 and ttc for the past 3 months
I have severe periods and for the last month I use ovulation testing kit to see when I ovulate. I didn’t get pregnant this month and got period really bad and now I am worried And scared...

Might sound crazy but I always thought getting pregnant was easy until I start reading up about it....and I am scared I am ‘old’ and I might not get pregnant

Hi @Sher86, welcome! I know exactly how you feel. We are similar in age and I worry I’m too old as well but it’s not the case. It can just take awhile for people to get pregnant but it’s nothing to worry about

@tulipwood how long have you been trying? I have a friend same agar as me and she conceived on the first try. I heard lubes weren’t good to use when trying?

I’m all good enjoyed seeing family this weekend, this time last month I had my peak on CD9 but not today, it’s at around 20%. Hoping it is before Tuesday before DP goes back away so we are in with a chance this month.
I do feel relaxed this month though xx

@Sher86 it’s only my first month of trying and I’ve realised it’s not as easy as just having sex like my catholic upbringing made me think! At school they acted like if a man came near you you’d end up pregnant! I’m not sure about lubes to be honest, I’ve also realised I know so little about TTC but I’m slowly learning.

@Genevive123 glad to hear you are feeling better. Sometimes a break away is much needed x

I’m still symptom spotting 7DPO. Still feeling nauseous but have for a week now. I also keep feeling a lot of twinges in my ovaries and around there but I think I’m just more in tune than before. I’ve never really paid attention to AF symptoms until now.

I'm now 12dpo and even though I'd already ruled myself out for this month I'm still probably going to test on Tuesday. Cos you never know! 😀 AF due either on Wednesday or whenever she feels like bothering (last month she took her sweet time, grrrr).

@Tulipwood I've also got twinges in my ovaries, I'm 10 dpo.
Not sure if it's af sign. I used to get these twinges around ovulation ... 🤷‍♀️ and I'm obvs not ovulating now

Hi, just checking in to see how you're all doing and to wish everyone the best. I've only had a a liitle bit of nausea when waking up and a bloated feeling in my tummy, otherwise doing fine, and we've managed somehow to keep the news to ourselves so far.
@Sher86 Luckily I didn't need lube when we were trying but I have heard that it's best to use the special ones for TTC like Pre-seed. Have a look in Boots. And wishing you the very best for a BFP soon xxx

This is me today! starting to think this might be the first month of normality after birth control as it seems I had the LH surge quite early for the last 2 months! But now seems more like an ‘average’ OD!

@Sher86 I’m using pre seed this month, I think they say normal lube isn’t a good environment for sperm to survive.

@Annwen how far along now? :) well done on keeping it to yourself lovely! I know I won't be able to lol, if we manage to conceive this cycle we want to tell MIL on her birthday which would be only a few days after finding out!

I think I may ovulate early this month getting 17% today! Let's see what tomorrow brings !!

@Genevive123 oooh what CD are you now? And when is your usual again?
Mine have been around 30% all day, got some BDing in today as OH goes away again tomorrow, hoping that’s enough 🤞🏼 I’m CD11. I think I’m gonna stop using the OPKs and just hope for the best because there’s not much we can do now 🙈 x

@Kty09 I'm CD 8, usually ovulate CD 13 but just checked last month and I got a 17% on CD 8 last cycle too! So might be on the same track :)

Oooh I'm so hoping it's our cycle this month lovely!! Remember sperm can last 5 days so hoping it's gonna work out for you lovely! I'm so nervous this time xx

That’s what I’m thinking, I keep seeing things that say it’s good 1 to 2 days before so it’s ready and waiting for the egg lol so I’m hoping! My OH has my next FW week off of work so if this cycle isn’t the one there may be more hope for that one xx

@Kty09 I'm dreading the TWW this cycle 😅😅 me too! Everyone is getting pregnant at the moment or giving birthday, definitely a lockdown baby boom!

You want the sperm waiting for the egg ideally !! That's what I'm hoping for too, will be DTD from tomorrow until Sunday, I booked this week off so I could do OPKs constantly lol!! Ooh it's got to be ours over the next few months ! Gonna try and not POAS too early as well!!

Hello lovely ladies! Hope its OK to join? Been following this thread for a bit but didn't want to join until I'd officially started TT 😊
I came off the mini pill March 15th, haven't had any sign of withdrawal bleeding or AF yet, but we started TTC on the 31st March. I had 5 days of CM so think I ovulated on the 30th, so pretty sure I'm out this month as we first DTD the day after that, but it still doesn't stop me symptom spotting!! 😅😅 I think I'm 6dpo atm and trying to hold off any testing till nearer 14dpo. I've had lower back aches and sore nipples the last two days and mad mood swings ha ha!

Anyways you all seem so lovely in this thread so looking forward to going through this with you all 😊

Haha that sounds like a great plan! Does your OH show any interest in the tracking? Mine doesn’t really but he is just very chilled about it all.

Welcome @Kat668 ! It's my first month ttc, 10 dpo today! I had a strong urge to test today for the first time, had to distract myself 😃

What 'tools' are you planning to use?
I use period/ovulation tracker Flo and that's it (for now 😂), and we dtd pretty much daily so I'm hoping a combination of the two will have me fully covered x

Had my peak this morning! 🎉 got plenty of BDing in the last few days so now the waiting game 🤞🏼🤞🏼
