Hi ladies

I'm 23 and my partner (27) and I are TTC baby #1!

It was our first month trying this month and AF is due 2nd/3rd of March, so far just BFN! My cycle is roughly 26/27 days! But didn't expect to get pregnant first cycle so I'm feeling ok 👌🏼

Anyone else TTC baby no 1 with a similar cycle? 🥰 xx

@Kty09 Used to be 28 days but since taking folic acid 32 days

@Aims1991 ahh hmm I’m not too sure then, I wonder if the CB just hasn’t picked up your peak? Not sure if that’s possible or not!

Hi Everyone! Brand new here. TTC baby #1 cycle 1, CD36 but only 1 DPO (my cycles have been anything from 70-30 days since coming off the pill after 15 years) and wondering if anyone has any tips for the 2WW? Obviously we would be insanely lucky to get pregnant first time trying so trying to not get any hopes up. Anyone in a similar boat with crazy cycles and brand new to all this? Got any recommendations for apps etc? I’ve been using OPK for a few months but not tried tracking BBT. Good luck to everyone

@Genevive123 July is my significant month, she predicts a baby boy & I'll be noticing butterflies! 🙈

@xoJellyBean I will maybe see what happens next month🙈 my OH said to take a pregnancy test! He said imagine I OV early and now I'm pregnant🤣

@Aims1991 it will take you a few months to get to know your cycle :) I think it's fascinating 🤣

Cd23 and day 7 of a flashing face! Starting to think this month isn't happening! Just want AF to arrive soon to start all over again! No idea what's wrong this month. But for it still to be flashing is very strange 🤔

@Aims1991 I read a thread yesterday and someone said that she got her BFP the month she didn’t get the static smiley so I wouldn’t rule anything out!

@Kty09 yeah I'm defo not ruling it out. Just this is the first month using CB tests

@Aims1991 have you using the strip OPKs? I tried CB first month but much prefer the strips (which are also cheaper) cause you can tell more how close you might be to peak etc and compare how darker the LH line is rather than just a flashing smiley. X

@Kty09 yeah used strips for 2 months. I thought CB would of been easier but seems to be confusing instead🤣

I defo second using the strips and the Femometer app to read them for you 🤞🏻

AF finishing for me today wohoo! Due to ovulate next Saturday 10th April my birthday so so excited about that! X

How do people feel about having a drink? I am due to ovulate Monday I think and been asked to go for some drinks Sunday, just a few! I don’t want to avoid any plans after all this time being stuck in lockdown so quite torn about it haha? Also in the TWW my friends will be getting together as beer gardens open and I just don’t know what to do?! X

@kty09 order sparkling water with ice and lemon, and pretend it's g&t? 😉 Or you could say you've been drinking too much in lockdown (definitely true for me!) and are now on a health kick!

@genevive123 ooh a birthday baby would be awesome! My bday is a few days after yours but I don't think I'll be ovulating until the week after. Shame, as we've booked to go away somewhere for a few days when the rules change - should probably have waited a week!

@Kty09 I would drink on occasions until BFP personally. I don't drink in the house though so it would be like once a week on a weekend max for me. Definitely before tww if I had an invite somewhere I'd have a drink. If I was like 10dpo I might do a test first but in January when I fell pg I had a glass of wine on sat night then got BFP on the Tuesday x

@taytay2020 I think everyone would deffo think what is wrong with u 🤣
@justwant2beamum yeah I don’t want to put my whole life on hold, it’s a tricky one. I don’t drink loads anyway but nice to actually have plans now we are allowed! I think I just won’t go crazy. I know some people don’t realise for weeks and still drink so it’s one of those isn’t it x

I have a drink or a few, max 3 glasses when I'm out (I'm not in the uk). So only when I'm out for a party or a bday I'd have maximum of 3 glasses. Otherwise I stopped having a glass of wine in the evenings with OH I know that's more than most women on here ttc but I don't eat sugar or carbs and exercise every day, plus loads of sleep and no stressful job, daily meditation etc.

What I'm saying is I look at my overall health and mental state and judge it like that. 😊

Another day of a flashing smiley face! Used a strip l opk aswell and had 2 lines🤷🏻‍♀️ got the sorest boobs today also. Felt so tired and miserable yesterday and fell asleep at 8! This is so tiring 🤣

@Aims1991 have you done a pregnancy test??

@xoJellyBean No, I thought about it but everytime I see that BFP I just get so frustrated! Maybe wait a week 🤷🏻‍♀️
