Hi ladies

I'm 23 and my partner (27) and I are TTC baby #1!

It was our first month trying this month and AF is due 2nd/3rd of March, so far just BFN! My cycle is roughly 26/27 days! But didn't expect to get pregnant first cycle so I'm feeling ok 👌🏼

Anyone else TTC baby no 1 with a similar cycle? 🥰 xx

@Genevive123 @taytay2020 @Kty09 thank you all. I will order them now xx

taytay2020 · 16/03/2021 14:19

@genevive123 and @kty09 - thanks both! I'll see what happens this cycle then will get femometer next cycle if I decide to keep tracking. I've got the clear blue digital too, I just wasn't planning to start using it for a couple of days yet cos I'm cheap :D

Hi @staceyg0208 hmm maybe, was it quite light? It might be a bit early for implantation but you might have ovulated a bit early this month? Or it could have been ovulation spotting? It's annoying when everything looks like a pg symptom isn't it!

Neom87 · 16/03/2021 14:23

@taytay2020 and @marshmallow190 I am using g the femomenter strips and app a d am pretty happy with them. Although if you you get the app make sure you activate your account fully before yous tart logging all your data. I only activates mine the other day after about 2 weeks of using it and it lost all my info and opk logs Angry

For those wondering how often to DTD and trying not to wear themselves out to soon, have a look at the sperm meets egg plan, it's about timing sex so that when the egg drops there is sperm there to meet it but also makes sure you don't wear yourselves out to soon! Wink

Neom87 · 16/03/2021 14:40

Don't know where those gin bottles came from! Was supposed to be an angry face and a winky face! Hmm

xoJellyBean · 16/03/2021 16:35

@Genevive123 yes of course... I'm maybe just not consistent 🙈

Genevive123 · 16/03/2021 16:40

@xoJellyBean I would say do them twice a day once in the morning once in the evening and then once you've done the test wait 10-15 mins before taking a pic! That's what the instructions say! Your times are a bit staggered, you've probably had too much to drink when testing too ☺️ xx

Hi all can I join?

I'm 22 and my partner is 24, on cycle 9 of ttc our first.

Feeling a bit lonely in ttc lately so thought I'd hop on a thread and make some friends x

Genevive123 · 16/03/2021 16:43

@Mrskcam hello lovely of course!! How have you been finding it - where abouts are you in your current cycle ? X

@Genevive123 I am on day 2 of af who came 3 days early this cycle :(

Starting to find it hard tbh. We conceived back in June 2019 when I was on the pill but lost the baby at 10 weeks. We then started trying in June 2020 and doing everything healthily it just doesn't seem to be happening!

I think I'm putting too much pressure on myself now though as if we don't conceive by this June we have to take a years break as we are getting married in June 2022 so now I can't help but look at it as we have 3 tries left and then 12 long months of no trying :(

How has your journey been so far?

taytay2020 · 16/03/2021 17:21

@mrskcam Sorry for your loss, even if the pregnancy was unplanned that must have been tough. I'm only on cycle 2 after stopping the pill in January. As it happens, literally today I've been rearranging our wedding to next June (second postponement due to covid) - we're already married cos we eloped in October but we're determined to have that party! It has occurred to me that we'll have to stop trying for at least a month or two later this year to avoid having a baby/wedding clash.

Mrskcam · 16/03/2021 17:27

@taytay2020 we were supposed to get married last November in the Caribbean 😩 oh well, just longer to get excited hehe.

It's difficult the thought of putting trying on hold when it's something we want so badly but at the end of the day I'm a big believer of it will happen when it's supposed to and not a second before.

Genevive123 · 16/03/2021 17:51

@Mrskcam oh bless you hun I know exactly how you feel and it's tough. I got pregnant accidentally when I was 19 and lost the baby at 10 weeks too and it was so tough.. it's been really hard waiting for 4 years to start trying too!

I'm on cycle 2 now of actually trying for baby number 1 and it's definitely tough already I thought I'd be ok this early on but everyone and I mean everyone seems to be getting pregnant at the moment! Xx

Is anyone taking supplements? I've been taking the pregnacare ones this whole time but been thinking the last couple months I've been extra tired ... might try up some vitamins alongside? Like vitamin C and have some omega-3 also (after some research these seem to be good for ttc)

Genevive123 · 16/03/2021 18:18

@Mrskcam I'm taking folic acid and vitamin D x

lisamxxx · 16/03/2021 18:25

Welcome @Mrskcam. Sorry to hear about your loss, I lost a baby at 11 weeks at the end of 2019 so I know exactly how you are feeling. I've been taking the seven seas trying for a baby vitamins and haven't had any problems with them so far and that's me just finished my first pack.

Staceyg0208 · 16/03/2021 19:10

Can we post pictures on here at all please

xoJellyBean · 16/03/2021 19:11

@Genevive123 thank you... first month using them properly and I'm sooo impatient for ovulation 🤣 xx

@Mrskcam I take the pregnacare conception for him & her at the min... will see how we go :) I think I have low progesterone levels in my luteal phase so hoping the vitamin b & zinc help x

Kty09 · 16/03/2021 19:12

Hey @Mrskcam I’ve been taking the seven seas one too @lisamxxx and just finished my first pack been absolutely fine and so much better to take than the massive supplements I had before (the supermarket version of pregnacare).
I was reading last night and I saw something about vitamin C not being good for producing the fertile CM (absolutely not an expert though just what I saw on google)! but maybe have a little look before you take them! X

Genevive123 · 16/03/2021 19:18

@Staceyg0208 yes you can ive attached a pic for you and circled the paper clip you need to press to attach a pic

xoJellyBean · 16/03/2021 19:32

@Staceyg0208 if you only just joined you have to wait 24 hrs before you're able to post a picture :)

Neom87 · 16/03/2021 19:34

Welcome @mrskcam :-)

@lisamxxxI have bought the seven seas ones but then I read that they were making peoples cycles longer so only took one!! Good to hear you have been happy with them, may just give the rest of the pack a go. I had so e folic acid and vitamin D arrive this morning too.

@staceyg0208 whenever I try to attach a picture my post or the picture doesn't show up. Not sure why though :-(
