Anyone else first month ttc?

Hi guys.

I’m new here, I’m 29 (30 in May) and my boyfriend is the same. We had decided to start ttc in June time 2021 but over Christmas we both decided to ‘roll the dice’ once before and started having unprotected sex this month. I came off the pill in October time as I didn’t get on with it AT ALL.

I use Clue but only had two afs before this cycle so not sure how long my cycle actually is. We dtd most days over when the app said I was most fertile and it aligned with the cm too. I’m dry not (tmi) so I assume I’m passed it now!

With a 30 day cycle I had last month I’m due af on the 22nd but with and 35 day one (which I used to have before the pill I’d be ov around today but cm isn’t having that, well dtd anyway just in case. Then wouldn’t except af until the 27th. I’m willing it not to arrive and have decided to not even contemplate a test until the end of the month if af hasn’t arrived.

Just wondered who else is trying and in the first few months? I can’t help but reading everything I can find about early signs and feel like when we start trying properly in the few months I might go crazy!!

How are you finding it?

Yeah agree with @Grace185 sadly @ALittleOCD it's a shame it's not that simple. I'm trying to stay calm but I find it hard I said I wouldn't buy any tests until sat,, went into a shop this morning that sells them and guess what now I have tests in the house and it's only bloody Monday!

AF is due today.

I usually get cramping immediately as I'm about to start. Nothing just yet. A LOT of light pink CM this morning but will keep you updated.

Still not af here but I’m feeling exactly like I normally do when she’s coming still so still certain she’ll come today. Even had a panty liner in last night and ended up going to the loo like three times and still nothing. I really really hope it’s not just my body messing with me. I started vit D this month, anyone have any idea if that can change things?

I'm on vitamin D. Been on it for a few months because apparently it's good to take to help fight Covid if you do get it.

I haven't noticed any difference really but you never know how your body could respond to something.

So today my promotion pretty much got confirmed and now freaking out if af not turning up does mean I’m pg!! It’ll start 1 April and would have to tell them like 1-2 months in. At least either way I’ll be happy!

I still don't have any sign of AF yet, got another BFN (Swore I wasn't going to test today, OH WELL)

@ALittleOCD thanks! At least it would take the sting out if af comes. And if not then I’ll just deal with it, we’ll I’ll be happy, work will have to deal with it haha. That’s a good sign there’s no sign of her for you, fingers crossed!!

I love it on here. Can talk about stuff I wouldn’t with anyone except oh in the real world right now. And he’s a guy so women talk is needed haha. Thanks for being great guys!

Yeah I think I will. I’ll speak to oh after work and see what he says. I suppose at least we’d then know either way too!

I’m drinking sooo much but when I go to the loo it doesn’t look like it if you get what I mean haha without too much tmi!

It's good for wee not to be yellowy but if you are super thirsty I think that's a good sign @Grace185

No sign of AF for me yet today but all the symptoms I had last week have disappeared completely so I'm certain I'm out for this cycle 😕

I’m still spotting but SOOOOO light, not even a panty liner worthy. It’s brown the spotting and very light pink when I wipe at times! I’ve felt abit ‘weird’ today, can’t put my finger on it but only time will tell. X

@Grace185 Monday for me! I’ll probably test Saturday though as not sure I’ll be able to hold out. That’s if the spotting doesn’t turn into AF! X

@leigha22 I feel the same and same "spotting". Just pink and very watery. Feeling super weird. Like I'm a little fluey but just the brain fog and a bit of sinus

@ALittleOCD it’s weird isn’t it! Brain fog is exactly the word I was looking for. I felt really nauseous this morning too but I don’t know if I was just hungry haha. When are you due on? This is only my second cycle after coming off the pill. I had my withdrawal and then my period came exactly 28 days after I came off. If this is my period now then I only had a 20 day cycle? It’s so confusing isn’t it! X

I'm due Sunday / Monday too from ovulation but I don't even know if I will get a period as haven't had once since my baby was born. @leigha22

@Grace185 I'm due on today. Think I'll test again on Thursday if I've not come on but I'm not holding out much hope!
