Trying for Jan BFP

Anyone else now trying for a jan BFP? 14dpo and cd27 today and now have pink spotting on wiping. Just waiting for cd1 again now x

Hi ladies.

I posted when this thread started and then tried to stay off Mumsnet to stop me thinking too much about ttc (didn't work!)

I am 10dpo today (by which point both previous pregnancies have shown. One successful, one mc).

Negative yesterday, and also negative first thing those morning, so assumed I was out this month. Randomly did a cheapie just now and it's positive! So did another and it's negative.

I am pretty sure that the first one is just a fluke dodgy cheap test...because surely there's zero chance of it showing up on a couple of hours hold a few hours after a negative with fmu?

And yes, I am well aware I need to stop testing and wait a few days... miscarriage followed by a chemical has probably made me a bit crazy.

@treesall What kind were the tests that were negative? I had that before and for me CB always show BFN!

@treesall ahh talk about playing with your emotions!! Maybe hold out another couple of days and try again with a couple of different brands?
We are both 10dpo cycle buddies! I'm Trying to hold out another few days for a test after a negative yesterday so fingers crossed for you!!

@Aims1991 I did a frer yesterday but that was negative. The others have all been one step cheapies.

If I didn’t ovulate, will I still get a period?

I’m 3 days late but negative tests. Wondering if I should just start doing Opk everyday to see if Ovulate again?

@SalemsPot22 yes I think it's possibly, isn't that what a anovulatory cycle is? I'd maybe do OPKs to give you a clue of where you are in your cycle

@treesall I ignore my own advice on this one but yes you are right best to wait a couple of days. I am currently going down the crazy route and have bought more tests on Amazon!

Sounds like there is a few of us who are 10dpo! Hopefully it is a lucky sign.

I have the world's faintest positive on a frer. Have ordered more tests (oh dear!) and have one more frer to use tomorrow morning. I'm not too optimistic but keeping my fingers crossed!

So more tests arrived..not getting excited yet as the cheapie line looks the same as yesterdays line. Also I was in the same position last month so it could go either way at this point.

OMG @Catmum55566 and @treesall CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! Faint is fine at 10dpo, faint is to be expected. I can see why you might be tentative after a chemical, but I can be all out excited for you!

@SalemsPot22 I think with an anovulatory cycle eventually your womb gets bored and sheds its lining so you might have a longer cycle.

I’m 9dpo here, 10 if you ask a different app. No AF yet but PMS-ing like a pro. I’m also hoping I can clock in a decent LP (shout out to @Cons33 and aiming high!) thinking to test on Sunday if AF not here. Let’s see some more BFPs please!!

Hi ladies! Hope you don’t mind me joining! Looking for some help with symptoms. Been trying for 3 months. Difficult because Mr works away. Not sure if I’ve been able to catch ovulation this month it was within the 5 days window so fingers crossed!

Currently 8DPO, due on 20th really trying to hold out till next week to take a test... it’s so hard!! I’m so impatient.

Anyone had any weird symptoms? I’ve had no cramping pains, boobs aren’t hurting but I’ve had loads of vivid dreams, could not sleep last night at all, and have this weird dull ache under my right rib? More so when I go to bed it’s like trapped wind pain

Last couple of months I really thought it would just happen straight away so I don’t want to get my hopes up!

@NW2021 hey, so I'm not expert as i had so many symptoms and then AF was late! I would wait a few days Atleast before you test! But only advice I can give is buy a lot of tests and varied brands I bought all the clearblue ones and spent a fortune. I've heard first response ones are good too

Thank you! I’m defo waiting till next week. I don’t want that feeling of seeing a negative, I’d rather wait to see if AF arrives first I think.
The past couple of months I really believed it was going to happen then this month I’m the complete opposite I’m more negative in my thoughts because of the last couple of tries. Maybe that’s a good thing?! X

I have got the distinct feeling of AF cramps starting today.... absolutely gutted as really thought this was going to be my month!
Been trying for a year now and never in a million yrs thought it would take this long and be so emotionally draining

I guess on the positive side I got to a 10 day luteal phase.. so it's getting slightly better but still needs a few more days for things to be easier perhaps..

Will prob call my GP and see if there is anything I can try - anyone have any experience of clomid to bring on earlier ovulation??

I think Pregnacare has messed up my cycle which is annoying- not showed a peak yet on cd17! I’ve now stopped it and will just go for folic acid moving forwards. Hopefully I get it soon as I’m fed up of OPKs!

Aww thank you everyone! You are such a supportive bunch. It is only early days as I'm still only 11dpo but I hope to see some progression in the next few days. Congratulations too @treeall!

@Chica1990 - how are you doing?

@Aozora13 - sounds like you are on track for a decent LP, what length was it last month? I feel like I have PMS at the min so the symptoms must be similar, so this could be a good sign.

@Cons33 sorry to hear you think AF is coming. It must be frustrating being at the 1 year TTC mark, have you spoken to your GP? They might be able to prescribe something for the LP. Fingers crossed that AF is not on her way though and that this is your month!

@NW2021- welcome, it is so hard to wait as time goes slowly at this point in the cycle. I would agree wait as long as you can. This is coming from a loon who tested at 8dpo 🤦‍♀️. If I had the willpower I would have waited.

Hopefully there will be more BFPs soon!

Literally time is at a stand still! But I’m determined to wait it out! .. at least till Sunday which will be 10dpo.

It’s so confusing because early signs are so close to PMS! Last night took forever to go to sleep, today no energy what so ever! I’m normally really active but couldn’t even make it through a work out this morning. The day has been spent on the sofa tired & with slight headache.

Starting to get what I can only describe as like a warm sensation in right groin side? A bit like ovulation pain? Not like period pain. Hoping this is a good sign? Who knows

I’m 4 days late now and still negative tests. So annoyed!

Recommendations on which tests to use for picking up early detection? From what I’ve read the First Response ones seem the best?

@Catmum55566 I’m doing ok thank you for asking, how about yourself? I hit 5 weeks yesterday (god it’s dragging) and got a 3+ on clear blue digital which I’ve never seen before! Going for a scan next Friday to make sure everything’s ok the right place. Had acupuncture today and asked her to focus on anxiety.

Have you told your partner? How are you feeling? I hope you don’t get the nerves as much as I have and can enjoy it x

AF due today and has been impending for a few days to the point where I keep going to the toilet to get a tampon but nothing. Temps back up after a dip (which in hindsight might be from testing about an hour earlier than normal). I’m either 11 or 12dpo so thought I’d chance a little FRER just to see and yup it’s a BFP
