Lots of threads about TTC baby #1 so looking for someone baby #2 support!

If so how old is your current DC and what made you realise it was the right time?

DD has just turned 1 and we are thinking about #2 very soon! DD took 14 months to conceive so I’m prepared for another long slog...although a bit panicky that it could happen sooner! Am also still shifting some baby weight that clung on nicely during both lockdowns

@noname55 cramps are caused by the same hormone for AF or pregnancy alike so don’t count yourself out! Could be a good sign!

@Cantthinkofaname99 haha you can order these self warming foot pads from Amazon, I used to do that when I worked in an office and it was really cold! They just stick on your socks and warm up by themselves and last all day

Ironically I was actually watching a YT video earlier and a Japanese woman was talking about the importance of keeping your feet warm for blood circulation, and I read that good blood flow is needed for implantation as it thickens the lining of the womb nicely!

I’m a bit of a nerd for holistic therapy and all things herbs if no ones noticed

I upped my dose of evening primrose today to 2000mg until ovulation. I’m hoping it’ll bring it forward a little or at least regulate it. I used to O like clockwork on CD14 before DD, that would be nice again! Wishful thinking maybe!

I think i did the keep the feet warm thing in my first pregnancy - I have got the thick socks out again though!
I'm 1DPO now so the waiting game begins!

How's everyone else doing? Where are we all now in our cycles/pregnancies etc?

@May2311 not actually sure one app is telling me AF is due 12th and the other 7th! One adjusted the date when I put in ovulation dates and the other didn't, (but the one that didn't I've been using longer and has more history data) so think I'm going to go with 12th. I will try and put off testing until AF is late (if it is), I can't cope with the stress at squinting at lines!!

One app says the 12th, the other the 16th, I'll try and hold out but realistically I'll probably test on the 12th when I'll be 11dpo.

So I got a flashing smiley this morning, 2nd day testing and CD 8. With my first I was told I must have ovulated early (we calculated maybe around CD 9/10 based on due date, so I guess maybe it will be early again. Anyone else experienced a smiley this early? How long till you got the static?

Due on Saturday. Testing with a cheapie every morning but I'll use a frer if I'm late.

I need to stop buying cheapies faint line almost made my heart stop but it's completely grey with no colour. Happened last month and I wasn't pregnant (all other brands negative).

How long are your cycles @Jellybean023 I think if you have shorter cycles then that's completely normal. I had 7 days of flashing smileys before I hit peak but everyone is different.

Still early days to get a BFP @noname55 hopefully you'll see something soon. Fingers crossed for you

@noname55 I think we are all guilty of testing early at some point 🙈 You are still early so don't rule yourself out yet. Xx

Hello everyone! Sorry you're being confused by the cheapies @noname55 - I've had to ban myself from buying them because those faint lines have driven me mad on so many occasions!

I'm 6DPO and firmly in the TWW slow-zone. Time is going backwards and I am symptom spotting again like a lunatic. I had some very strange stinging/pinching pain yesterday morning, and I've been crampy and backachey for a couple of days. Send implantation vibes!

Found out today that a very close friend is pregnant, which I'm over the moon about but it's also increased my desperation for a positive this month!

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing ok? @Mybobowler I’m with you there, one of my NCT group from DS have just announce they are expecting, and I’m thrilled for them but it’s also hard, I’d really love to go through that journey together again. Here’s hoping March is the month for us all!!

I’m on CD6 and going to start OPKs from tomorrow, I’ve never used them before so interested to see what they say.

Is it that AFTER you ovulate there should be a jump in temp? And that if you are pregnant it stays high?

@Mybobowler sorry it's going slow for you!! It's even harder when you hear about others news as well. When are you testing? ( sorry if you have already said- I always forget when people have said!) xxx

So I haven't done it since TTC1 but you get a little dip at implantation then a temp rise if you're pregnant. Are you using the fertility friend app - think that has good info on temping, and you can compare your charts etc

@May2311 AF due next Tuesday and I promised myself I won't test before then. Let's see if I can hold out that long, I have two or three FRER that are already winking at me every time I open the bathroom cabinet!

I temp too - yep, rise after ovulation (mine rises slowly) and O day is confirmed after 3 days if high temps I think. Oooh I'd forgotten about the implantation dip @TheWhalesOnTheBus mine dropped really steeply on Monday and has gone back up since then. Oh please let this be the month!! TWW driving me mad!

Ooh @Jellybean023 we are cycle buddies! I’m CD9 today. Looks like you are an early ovulator! I’ve never had a nearly positive OPK that early personally but definitely sounds normal for you, maybe start DTD!!

@dunkedbiscuit you’re also not far before us so also a cycle buddy I don’t know what’s more painful, waiting for AF to finish and to O or the TWW lol!

I can feel my CM beginning to get watery today which is quite early for me as well, month before last I O’d on CD13 so it’s definitely possible! I hope it’s O and it still pregnancy stuff, I never took another test to make sure it was BFN because I didn’t want to see the line again I hope it did just turn negative in the end!

@noname55 sorry about your grey line...might still be hope?! X

BFN! 9dpo, AF due tomorrow but could be later as I ovulated late. I feel so different this month, I wonder what's going on. How is everyone?

@noname55 sorry for the BFN, your not out till AF arrives though.

So I've just been to the loo and there was blood there, AF is either early (not the first time) or implantation bleeding, so I will probably spend the entire day googling implantation bleeds! It is probably just early AF though, been here before!
