Anyone TTC #2?

Lots of threads about TTC baby #1 so looking for someone baby #2 support!

If so how old is your current DC and what made you realise it was the right time?

DD has just turned 1 and we are thinking about #2 very soon! DD took 14 months to conceive so I’m prepared for another long slog...although a bit panicky that it could happen sooner! Am also still shifting some baby weight that clung on nicely during both lockdowns Wink

Anyone else?

@May2311 thanks Grin 14/15th feb! I will get a digital in a few days perhaps.
Cant actually believe it's happened this quick. Was a super emotional feeling this morning I did the test with the baby as she was clingy ! And then I was feeding her as the line came up 💕 no he's still in bed LOL

Ahh yes so perhaps beginning of Nov. Awww that sounds lovely. It will be a gorgeous age gap as well! They will be able to entertain each other as yet get older. Will you tell him today? Xx

TTc #2 dd9!!!! Tried for 4 months, chemical pregnancy last month 😞 and now need to wait until may due to second vaccine dose being delayed!

I know it's going to be so sweet and also v hard no doubt ! We are having an extension built in may so the extra space will be perfect! Yeah I'll tell him somehow when he wakes trying to think of a cute way! @May2311

@mrssunshinexxx we live abroad and haven't been able to get home to see family for 18months thanks to covid. So worried if I am not vaccinated that could mean not travelling home again this summer and my daughter really needs to spend time with her grandparents. Also, If I get pregnant over the next couple of months it will also mean another Xmas away from home. So trying to be sensible and put my daughter first. So hard though!'

I'll have a similar gap @RHODXB. I feel like the years have gone so fast, I'm looking forward to starting again! I think it'll definitely be my last though. Just hope it doesn't take too long to conceive.

@RHODXB the age gap will be fine. Like you say families come in all shapes & sizes! Your oldest will be able to help you a lot more!
@mrssunshinexxx did you think of a good way to tell hubby?

I have the dreaded headache I get before AF so expect it will come later today or tomorrow( which i obviously expected considering we didn't DTD unprotected over fertile window). Feeling positive as it means it's the proper start of our TTC no2 so I've ordered the clearblue OPK and I've cut down to 1 coffee a day 🤣

My first DC was born on due date which was 8 Nov and it was calculated that conception was around 14 Feb!

@mrssunshinexxx I have the clear blue 4 day ones. They’re expensive so don’t think I’ll be keeping them up for too long but thought useful to get a better idea of my cycle to start with. Thinking about I’ll probably keep them up anyway as the longer it takes the more desperate I’ll get Wink.

With my first, when I was scanned I was told I must have ovulated very early in my cycle based on the dates given. So had been assuming it’d be the same this time but then I’ve been reading people saying their cycle’s been different second time round.

I think mine have been very similar to be honest but everyone is different! @Jellybean023 it's a good idea to get used to your cycles for sure even though they are expensive I think they are worth it x

I've ordered loads of cheapies for next week. Told myself I wouldn't use cheapies again after a load of evap lines on them but I couldn't resist! I'll just use a frer to confirm either way.
