Lots of threads about TTC baby #1 so looking for someone baby #2 support!

If so how old is your current DC and what made you realise it was the right time?

DD has just turned 1 and we are thinking about #2 very soon! DD took 14 months to conceive so I’m prepared for another long slog...although a bit panicky that it could happen sooner! Am also still shifting some baby weight that clung on nicely during both lockdowns

@mrssunshinexxx not quite yet, the line was darker yesterday, so thinking it may be positive when I test today. First month using these so not sure if I'm in for a long cycle this month, or I have a short time between ovulating and AF. Didn't do any of this with #1 4 months of trying did the trick that time!

I woke up this morning to so many spots on my chin and jaw! Doesn't usually happen. Wonder if it's hormonal? Could be mask related.

@Cantthinkofaname99 are you using cheapies if so maybe use more than 1 a day so you don't miss it x

Not for another week! I think I'm only 3dpo.

AF is not due till 4 March. Cycles usually 32/33daya. I started using cheap OPK on CD16 & haven't had a positive yet so not sure if I Ov around CD14. We only started DTD unprotected around CD18 as we weren't going to start till next month 🤣 now I'm holding out I've fallen even though it's practically impossible🙈 Before i had my DD1 AF came 12 DPO- I know it's rare this changes but if this hasn't it means for some reason this cycle will be a shorter one ( would be due AF Sunday cycle day 29). I might do a test of Sunday if AF isn't here then 🤣 it's part of the journey peeing on sticks all the time isn't it!!!

@mrssunshinexxx I can't really remember any symptoms with my first. It was really strange as I didn't get a positive until a few days after AF was due. I actually got a positive on a OPK first! I remember knowing though ( which is strange) I didn't feel a massive urge to keep testing just because I felt like I knew. Can you remember any symptoms? X

I don't think I had symptoms the month I conceived but all the months before I was sure I was pregnant because x y z symptoms I was making up! I remember the morning doing the test fully expecting a negative and glanced at it whilst brushing my teeth and burst into tears  @May2311

I’m a bit late to the party but can I join? My first turned 2 last week and I’m now on month 3 of TTC #2. Currently CD3. First time round was easy as I fell pregnant on the second month of trying - I know we were lucky and was prepared for it to take longer but I’m still feeling impatient to have got to month 3 already this time.

@mrssunshinexxx yeah using cheapies, I'm kind of prepared that I can't rely on them too much, so just going to DTD as many days as poss while it's showing higher!

@May2311 that sounds like a good idea, you could have ovulated earlier, I've had a couple of cycles where AF has come a lot earlier than expected!

I can't remember many symptoms when I conceived before either, I think I had implantation bleeding but that was about it.

Try use more than once a day like mid morning an early evening you should catch it then @Cantthinkofaname99

@Jellybean023 hi x I think no matter how shorter length of time it's been we always want it to happen quicker. Took 7 months with my lo and I was losing the plot my heart goes out to people who have a really tough fertility journey

Hi @Jellybean023! I'm on cycle 3 too. My first was unplanned so it's a bit of a shock actually trying and realising it's not so easy.

Jealous ! @noname55 after number 2 I'm not going back on any contraception. Hope to BF again and just hope it happens around 8momnths again ( we want an army)

Hi everyone! Been a bit lazy on this thread! Welcome @Jellybean023 - are you me?? My DD also just turned two, and we're on cycle 3 as well. I conceived her without trying at all, and even though I told myself it was unlikely to happen so quickly again second time, I'm finding it very hard to stay chill! I think I'm 2DPO but waiting for temps to rise to confirm

@Mybobowler @noname55 it sounds like we’re all similar. I definitely knew it might not be so easy second time round especially being 3 yearly older etc but yeah a bit of me is fretting! But 3 months is nothing really so still early days!

Isn’t it funny thinking back to all those years fretting about not getting pregnant?

Eeeek @mrssunshinexxx that looks like a positive to me!! Woohoo!! If I remember correctly, that's what my tests looked like around 11/12DPO in my first pregnancy. I got a much stronger line with an FRER. Congratulations!

This one is abit clearer , I haven't got any expensive tests in but I'll get one in a few days. My last with drawel bleed was dec so no idea how to work out due date other than it will be November x
