Anyone TTC #2?

Lots of threads about TTC baby #1 so looking for someone baby #2 support!

If so how old is your current DC and what made you realise it was the right time?

DD has just turned 1 and we are thinking about #2 very soon! DD took 14 months to conceive so I’m prepared for another long slog...although a bit panicky that it could happen sooner! Am also still shifting some baby weight that clung on nicely during both lockdowns

Anyone else?

@Nobeautysleep morning! I’m ok, still pregnant as far as I know. I’m getting a consistent flow of CM so don’t know if that’s good or bad but it feels like AF so I keep going to the toilet and checking! So far so good though it’s totally colourless. I keep inspecting for pink or red.

WHY DO WE DO THIS.

I’m doing a little spring clean in the house today (OH is keeping DD occupied) so looking forward to it being a bit fresher and tidier! I’ve still got crap leftover from Christmas sitting around so really needs to be done haha

@Nobeautysleep it definitely messes your cycle up. I've had my period back for a year now and it's still not regular  can see a difference when DC feeds more/less

@mamaatthegym I think it is 20 seconds when you dip for most tests you know i always count 20 anyway just to be sure xxx

Hmm @TheWhalesOnTheBus everyone gets a blank first day as it gathers data. I wouldn't personally be skipping days or skip to cheapies if your cycles are long and it's going to be expensive x

@TheWhalesOnTheBus I'm only using cheap ones, but mine said to start on CD9, apps all suggest I would ovulate on CD13/14 but on CD11 now and still getting negatives, so it's probably as I thought and I'm ovulating later than the apps are suggesting, so probably not hitting the right days, at least the negatives are good motivation for us to keep DTD every few days!
Not sure if I'm doing them right though, I can't hold my wee for more than an hour 😂

@mrssunshinexxx today's one said low too. I only bought the expensive ones as I thought it would make things simpler 🤣 never mind!

@Cantthinkofaname99 yes it's definitely good motivation to dtd. Was going to attempt SMEP but DC doesn't like sleeping and we are so tired! Will ramp things up closer to ovulation (hopefully). I would like to temp again but don't get consistent sleep so think it would be all over the place

It's ok that it's still low but you need to keep using them daily until you get your static otherwise it messes with the data and won't be accurate @TheWhalesOnTheBus

@dunkedbiscuit I tested yesterday and bfn at CD33 so don’t think I’ll test again this week. 😫

Well we only stopped using contraceptives a few days ago. I ovulated last Sunday/Monday and I'm still counting down the days that i could pee on a stick even though I know we weren't even trying this month and no chance of getting BFP🤣 The plan was to start properly for next month 🙄🥴 Now that is crazy isn't it 🙈

It's an addiction @May2311 if I manage to not test til Sunday it will be some sort of miracle

How is everyone? CD15 and just got my first high on an opk for this cycle 🙌

Time goes slowly when you're TTC! I'm CD12 and getting lows and no ewcm yet so think it may be a while. This is our first month properly trying, I'm going to be a nightmare on the tww!
