Anyone TTC #2?

Lots of threads about TTC baby #1 so looking for someone baby #2 support!

If so how old is your current DC and what made you realise it was the right time?

DD has just turned 1 and we are thinking about #2 very soon! DD took 14 months to conceive so I’m prepared for another long slog...although a bit panicky that it could happen sooner! Am also still shifting some baby weight that clung on nicely during both lockdowns

Anyone else?

I am on a downer as my period hasn't come and I'm not pregnant I think breast feeding is going to stop me getting pregnant

@mrssunshinexxx I'm sorry you're out this month, it's so disheartening. Don't give up though, it'll happen. Do you chart or anything?

I'm also feeling really dejected. Had a weird period last month. GP thinks it was a chemical but I'm not sure (neg tests but a late period and very heavy bleeding for 11 days - never happened before). Now my temps are super low and no sign of ovulation. Should have ov'd a week ago but no temp rise and my period is technically due in about 4 days. Feeling super confused and fed up. I'm way too impatient and obsessive for this!

Really feel for u both. It gets to the point when ur just fed up! But it really is worth it in the end!! 🤞🏼 for u both!!! Try and stay positive and keep ur mind busy as hard as that is atm x

So I spoke to the doctor she basically said the bleeds I have had the last 6 months are withdrawal bleeds not periods and that I'm very unlikely to get pregnant whilst still breastfeeding as much as I am. Feel really sad as nothing I can do I don't want to stop BF

I am also breastfeeding 2/3 times a day!

I am ovulating atm but feeling unsure about pregnancy with the whole pandemic business now

@Nobeautysleep oh are you, when did your periods return and how okd is your lo? Once in the night which I'm hoping to cut down in the next week to none then hoping that long chunk with no feeds kicks my period back into action

@mrssunshinexxx 15 months. We don’t do any b/feeding during the day, but at night it feels like too much!
I came off pill in nov and AF returned mid jan

I can’t quite believe it but I DTD a few times casually following the mc and I found out at the weekend that I am pregnant again. Had bloods and going back tomorrow just to confirm it is a new pg!

@Nobeautysleep that's interesting, hopefully once I've night weaned mine will come back soon. My LO is 7 months but we have our heart sets on a small gap I really wanted to be pregnant by now

Thanks @Mybobowler - it was a bit of a surprise as I thought it might take time to ovulate with my previously irregular cycles!
Feeling tentative about it after the past few months and just wishing the next few days/weeks away.

I think I’m on 4dpo, after ovulating on 13dpo last cycle I used OPKs from CD10 and then didn’t get a positive until CD18 this time 😩 that was a long 8 days of OPKs!

So 2 days ago sorry if TMI I thought my period was starting as had slight blood and allt of cervical mucus on my first wee of the day but nothing since now I've got it in my head it's implantation bleed ( I know it probably won't be ) but it says that happens 10-14 days after conception and I looked on my flow app and we had sex 2 days in a row bang in that time line I can only hope !

Hi everyone, we’re starting to TTC number 2 from this month, DS is turning 2 in a couple of weeks. Feeling nervous & excited!

I am on CD20 and I haven't ovulated its so annoying knowing I'm out already 😭 I've DTD every other day anyway.. but im not even bothered about doing it now as I no there's no chance I thought after having AF I would ovulate but nope fingers crossed I ovulate next month

Ahh @TTCPLEASE how long has your AF been back for? You could possibly ovulate late this month, my O range has been from CD11 to CD28 since I had DD1 so mines all over the place too!

Thanks @mamaatthegym I’m waiting to ovulate but it’s my first cycle since having the implant out so who knows when that may be?! Just optimistically shagging really 😂 has anyone find their cycles have changed since their first pregnancy?

@mamaatthegym I got it back in January I stopped pill in dec had withdrawal bleed and then 28 days later I had AF im on CD20 now so I doubt I'll ovulate now im due AF a week tomorrow ive always had 28 day cycles and AF arrived bang on 28 days. I just hope I ovulate as normal soon

@mamaatthegym I have no idea as haven't had a period since December I'm breast feeding so it's all gone to pot since coming off contraception x

@mrssunshinexxx 11dpo BFN on an IC. I stared at it for so long I thought I could see a line but it was so far past the 5 minute mark...plus I think on all tests you’ll see a line if you look hard enough haha.

Not holding out much hope but still early for me I guess. It’s only my 2nd try and DD took over a year so don’t know why I’m so hopeful haha x
