No AF and BFNs 🤷‍♀️

Hello! We are trying for our second child and I am frustrated. I am sure several of you can relate to being frustrated with this whole TTC thing. 😅 Anyways. AF was due 3 days ago and has not shown her ugly face yet. But I have also gotten nothing but negatives (and one invalid). I was planning on not testing again until AF is a week late. Anyone get their BFP that late or even later? I am irregular, so it could just be a late period? I just want to know if I really am pregnant or not, so I can move on! Thanks for any insight you all provide! 😊

@Bgrace8 yeah I'm used to having short cycles which makes the wait way less, as it sometimes only gives me a few days after AF before I'm due to ovulate, last month it came back after OPKs and BBT as early as CD9! So this just feels like forever. The two week wait has turned into a month almost! I had planned to test on Friday but I don't think I will. I just know I'm not PG, just need to wait it out for AF. I just can't face another BFN. I've had a few previously and I really wanted the next one to be a BFP.

I have just decided I am going to test in the morning and then call the doctors on Friday if I’m still in this same situation, I have one cheap test left at home.
Yes trying not to be stressed is easier said than done every time you go for a wee you are reminded of everything so it’s very hard to switch off!
But yes it will be lovely when we all get the BFPs! Hopefully soon!! I’m worried that I’m going to be 37 next year I never thought it would take this long or I would have started TTC last year, never mind this can’t be changed now I suppose

@HT1335 oh I know, every time I go to the toilet I expect AF to be there! But nope, nothing! I normally start first thing sometimes with some spotting the day / night before so I'm constantly on the look out!

Yeah absolutely no harm in giving the doctor a call, and I really hope that they are more helpful thus time!!

I had the fear my periods would take ages to come back and be regular, and was surprised when they came back straight away.

@HJen22 mine took 8 weeks for me to get an AF after I stopped the pill so we were very confused then too! Then they have been regularish maybe 2 days out at the most and I always get spotting and this time nothing so I’m baffled!
I’ve just ran out on my break to boots to buy some preg tests as I want to do 2 more before I ring the doctors just to be sure, they will probably be negative but at least I’ve done a few more.
I wonder if we will be any wiser by next week, let’s hope so 🤞🏻

@HT1335 I was worried it was going to take months. I had the first breakout bleed 3 weeks after stopping then a proper period the following month. I'm gutted it's so messed up this month as like you I've been regular, sometimes a day or two out but mostly 24/25. Last month my app predicted a 21day cycle cos of ovulating on day 9, that had me panicking some more haha! But it ended up being 24.

@HJen22 aww thanks so much I’m not too hopeful but we shall wait and see I’ve really sore boobs too but they were like this when I first came off the pill so again I’m not convinced it’s anything to get excited about. Thank you though 😊

@HT1335 @HJen22 oh girls keep me updated you are giving me faith still. When I have googled this before (as I’m sure you have) there seems to be lots of people saying it took them a few weeks to show on a test so it must happen!

I always thought I was a very regular person in terms of this and ovulated slap bang in the middle of the month had it of been a 28 day cycle!

So how late are you both? X

@HT1335 so confusing! I had a bath earlier to try and relax! It's so hard not to symptom spot and notice every twinge!

@Bgrace8 I'm 10 days late now and onto cd35, I think it's going to end up just skipping all together although I did feel a little bloated earlier! Who knows! Yeah I've read stories too, it's just not how you imagine this to go is it, no one tells you all the stress and worry in between!

Exactly the same as @HJen22 and 10 days late! And clueless as to what is happening to me. I am going to do another test as I last done one on Saturday and see what that says and then ring the doctor to discuss as it’s very unusual for no spotting or anything for me. One minute I panic I’m in early menopause or something and then I relax. I do think I need some bloods taken for hormones so I’m going to push for that as my next step x

Good luck on all the upcoming tests! I am hoping for BFPs for you all! There is always hope as long as AF hasn't shown! 🤞🤞

Hi ladies I hope you don't mind me joining!

I'm now 2 days late average 27 day cycle but have twice had 30 day cycles .

I did an FRER Today not using FMU and think I got a very faint line .

I'm gonna see what tomorrow brings to see if AF arrives or not

I'm so confused one minute I feel as if I am gong to come on and the next I don't !

So frustrating! Attached are my tests

Welcome @Donnat89! I do see some lines there. Test again in the morning and definitely let us know! Is this your first time ttc?

I have tested and it was negative as expected, I’ll try again in the morning and then give the doctor a call to see if they have any answers for me!

Yes I’ll try again in the morning it will be negative no doubt but I’ll try not to think about it for now... easier said than done!

No symptoms at all I keep thinking I'm getting AF cramps and then they go so I'm not really sure what's going on . Will find out in the morning! X

Tested this morning, another bfn was a first response but not a frer. I will get some of those next but I guess test in a few days if no AF. CD36 still feeling twinges in stomach and nausea on and off all day. Very sensitive boobs. Makes no sense.
I'm worried I'll be someone who just never tests positive even if they are pregnant leaving me in this constant state of unknown and unable to move on with my life 😩 someone on here wrote they never tested positive but picked up on scan at 10 weeks! ... on the other hand a stupidly late AF which is giving me pregnancy symptoms and making me feel sick constantly seems like a cruel joke.

So no AF and another faint line on FRER !?

Hasn't got any darker either so really don't know what to make of it ? I hope this isn't another chemical 😢

I'm wondering if I ovulated later than I thought ?

Another day of waiting I suppose !

Also in person it does have colour photos make it look like a grey line ! X

@sociallydistained oh try not to get too disheartened although it is really hard not to feel totally fed up whilst this turmoil is ongoing.
I have also used a boots test again this morning and it’s another bfn 😟 and no sign of AF so now I really don’t know what to think apart from my AF is just being cruel and I wish it was here as now I will have no idea what’s going on with my cycle etc. I am trying to be positive but some days it’s hard to be
