No AF and BFNs 🤷‍♀️

Hello! We are trying for our second child and I am frustrated. I am sure several of you can relate to being frustrated with this whole TTC thing. 😅 Anyways. AF was due 3 days ago and has not shown her ugly face yet. But I have also gotten nothing but negatives (and one invalid). I was planning on not testing again until AF is a week late. Anyone get their BFP that late or even later? I am irregular, so it could just be a late period? I just want to know if I really am pregnant or not, so I can move on! Thanks for any insight you all provide! 😊

AF finally arrived! Think it's time to crack out the expensive ovulation kits this month!

@lastbany AF here for me too, came yesterday which was a day earlier than predicted but knew it was coming. I think I'm going to use the CB OPKs I have too, and maybe do BBT x

@lastbany @HJen22 fresh cycles! Good luck! I have really liked my opks, easy@home. They are cheapies though. Haha.

@ImpatientMama thank you! How are you getting on? I am trying to be a bit less upset at the arrival of AF this month and more positive, can't spend all the time being sad I guess. Onto the next month! Yeah I've used cheap OPKs too and they worked fine I just wasn't sure if I was photographing right so the CB ones are a bit easier but more expensive, I've only done them one cycle previously xx

@HJen22 I am going fine. Just waiting. As usual. Haha. 7 dpo today. Planning on testing at 12 dpo, so Saturday. My husband and I are going to a wine tasting and dinner that night so it would be good to know if I am pregnant or not for that. Haha.

Hi all how are we? So I got impatient today, I'm now CD49 so about 20 days or three weeks late! I took my other first response just to make sure but same old bfn, so I called the docs and she was quite surprised I've had negative tests and has booked me in for bloods next week to check hcg and for early menopause just in case but she doesn't think it'll be that. She also said she's not worried, blood test isn't until next Tuesday (more waiting) and results will be a week later (even more waiting!!) by then af will be due again!

The only other thing I did think is maybe I could've had a chemical at the beginning of December and that's messed up everything else!

Still no sign of AF for me...CD44 now; Did a CB test yesterday and another BFN but I already knew really!
Very anxious that there’s something wrong but I guess not a lot I can do but wait and see 😔

It's so frustrating not knowing isn't it @KES22 and because the doc isn't in any hurry to do these tests it's made me even more impatient to know what's going on!!

I’m now cd53 bfn again this morn, a little spotting 2 days ago and no AF I have appt tmorow for bloods and gp telephone call so I’m going to stress my concerns and how worried I am
I hope we all get some answers soon x

@HT1335 🤞🏻 you get some answers!! I've got to wait another week for my blood test then another week for the results so it's like the tww all over again 😂 please let us know how you get on

I’ve got my bloods today at 4pm, have to do a vaginal swab and then ring to discuss the gp said about them possibly examining me too
They ideally wanted my bloods on cd21 but as I’m not having regular periods they’ve decided to do them today so when I go for bloods I’ll ask more questions 🤞🏻🤞🏻X

@HT1335 good luck! My gp is just taking bloods for now, she's said she will look into something else if the bloods come back ok!

@KES22 I'm sorry, BFN tests are just the worst aren't they 😔 could you have ovulated later? The month I had a really long cycle I didn't track so figured I'd ovulated late x

@KES22, I agree with @HJen22! I ovulated late this cycle, so I am expecting my cycle to be around 35 days instead of around 30, which is my average. I wish ttc didn't have so much waiting involved! It is very frustrating.

Thanks @HT1335 and @ImpatientMama, hopefully it is just a very late cycle, although I am on CD 45 now and still no sign so it’s well beyond a late period even if my cycle was 35 days 😞 I just want AF to arrive so I know where I’m at and we can try again...x

It’s very frustrating I’ve just been to my nurse appt she said the doctor has requested every hormone blood for me and gave me a vaginal swab to do, then said I will possibly need my cervix examined so had a thorough check thankfully.. just a wait to see what happens with the results etc now x

@HT1335 that's good that they're checking for everything! I had a thorough check up after my mc including all sti's and everything! Which was all fine so I'm hoping that's all still the same

I don't mean I hope the sti's they were all clear anyway and would be again I just mean everything lol 😂
