No AF and BFNs 🤷‍♀️

Hello! We are trying for our second child and I am frustrated. I am sure several of you can relate to being frustrated with this whole TTC thing. 😅 Anyways. AF was due 3 days ago and has not shown her ugly face yet. But I have also gotten nothing but negatives (and one invalid). I was planning on not testing again until AF is a week late. Anyone get their BFP that late or even later? I am irregular, so it could just be a late period? I just want to know if I really am pregnant or not, so I can move on! Thanks for any insight you all provide! 😊

@lastbany I have tried slimming world before it’s really good! I’m doing calorie counting this time on my Fitbit since turning 30 a few years ago I’ve found it really hard to lose weight but I certainly need to try now more than ever.
Oh I don’t know have you done a test? How are you feeling? Don’t worry about tmi it’s all helpful things on here that we can’t discuss in general with others! I hope you’re ok x

Complete and utter BFN again 😭 stark white no line at all! I knew it before I tested, there was just a teensy bit of hope there but no and I'm CD47 18 days late so now I'm just even more worried that there's something wrong with me 😢

Oh @Marvellouslymadmum I’m sorry to hear that. Don’t worry too much, when I spoke to the doctors last week they said missing a period isn’t cause for concern, they will only investigate if it happens 3 months in a row. I know it’s frustrating but try not to overworry yourself x

@KES22 thank you, I go between worrying there's something wrong one minute to thinking there's still a possibility the next or maybe I just missed ovulation this time and hopefully back to normal next month!

@Marvellouslymadmum oh I’m sorry and I feel your pain it’s awful seeing the negative again isn’t it. Try not to worry, I know it’s easier said than done!
I’m now cd51 I’ve had a little spotting this morn so probably AF on the way again.
It’s so frustrating isn’t it 😔 x

So my AF is almost away and normally I have it a few days longer! I'm just wondering how I could of been 4 days late, not as heavy and now almost away?🤷🏻‍♀️ anyone ever had this?

@HT1335 it's so frustrating! I just wish I knew what was going on! At least if af arrives I know where I am 😕

I'm thinking of trying opk I did try a few cheapies before from £ shop but tested randomly abs never got any kind of result! So looking on Amazon you have the clear blues but they seem expensive was thinking one of the cheaper brands to start off with at least until I get the hang of it!! I've seen packs of 50 for about £13 or packs of 30 for £5 I've no idea what's best - anyone have any recommendations please? I'm going to get some vitamins for us both too so any recs for those also gratefully received!

@Aims1991 it could just be different this month, I've had that before have you taken a hcg just in case it was an implantation bleed?

@Marvellouslymadmum it was heavy for about a day, should I try another test in a few days??

@LittleAurora I personally don't see anything. I would get some pink dye tests though. Blue dye ones are known to have evaporation lines that can cause you to think it is positive when it's not. So in a couple days try that. Good luck!!

@KES22 welcome! We are here to support each other through this crazy ttc adventure! I had a long cycle when I first posted this thread, so I understand your frustration. After all that waiting in ended in a chemical pregnancy sadly. Have you been tracking your ovulation? You could have ovulated late causing your period to be late?

@ImpatientMama I did try to track my ovulation last month but never detected a LH surge..I didn’t carry on testing late into the month though so it is very possible I ovulated late. I just get so upset every time I get another BFN I don’t think I can face testing again. Still no sign of AF...I’m naturally such an impatient person it’s really tough! X

@KES22 I understand all the testing and i am also impatient (as my name suggests, haha). I ovulated late this month, CD21. So I am expecting my period later then the apps I use have projected. 2 of them adjusted my period start day based on my ovulation, 1 hasn't. So we will see. I am only on 5 dpo, so I am going to try and wait to test until 12 dpo. So we will see! I hope you get answers soon, either af shows up or you get a bfp the next time you test. 🤞

@Aims1991 I'd give it a go just in case, it could just be a different period but it may not 🤷🏼‍♀️
@ImpatientMama thank you, I've just spent the last hour inputting all my data into the femometre app, it wasn't available in the uk the last time I checked but it is now! So that's app 4 lol it seems to have a lot more info though and tells me that I ovulated around 9th December according to my bbt so if I ovulated on 9th and have no af I'm very confused 😂

@Marvellouslymadmum i have never heard of that app. I have 3 currently. One of them is annoying me because last cycle I had access to a lot of information which was based on my chart. Now they are saying everything is for VIP only. Which I am not going to pay for. So I am not sure if I still want that app anymore. Yeah December 9th was a while ago. Haha.

@Marvellouslymadmum Yeah think I will wait a week and see. I just totally don't feel myself. Constantly exhausted but not tired to sleep! Can't be bothered eating dinner or anything. Who knows🤷🏻‍♀️
