Hey!

Want to get a group of ladies who are TTC at the same time to have someone to chat to during this journey together. It's a lonely process for me and only
In early stages of trying but would love advice, tips and general chat. This is an open chat and can't wait to chat to you all

@FTM94 @apwilso at least I’m not the only one 😂😂
Yes! Let’s hope we can make this a lucky thread 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Waiting2BeaMama · 21/10/2020 19:15

Hi ladies just catching up 🙂
@AKcheer yes I think I’ll be the same, not going to worry too much about OPKS this month and just enjoy the process of trying!

@FTM94 hi 👋 hope af arrives soo. So you can start trying properly!

1992EM · 21/10/2020 20:58

@apwilso the clear blue are expensive so it means you utilise them better . The first month I used them alongside the cheaper ones just to get a hang of it and then after that only used it during fertile week . I am pretty regular so can predict within a few days when I will peak. Would be harder if periods weren't as regular xx

apwilso · 21/10/2020 21:44

@1992EM I'm regular as well but not got the hang of when I will peak! All a learning curve 😆

1992EM · 21/10/2020 22:14

@apwilso it definitely is . I started them about 3 months ago and you get used to it pretty quickly. I had no idea how complicated ttc is . You need a degree in it 🤣

apwilso · 21/10/2020 22:28

@1992EM init! I thought cheeky DTD and off you go. Not working out days, peaks and hormones. Jesus need a degree in maths, biology and chemistry!

AKcheer · 21/10/2020 23:10

@Waiting2BeaMama yah I agree sometimes I think we forget we need to enjoy this process!

1992EM · 21/10/2020 23:13

@apwilso you are so right 🤣

FTM94 · 22/10/2020 09:28

Morning ladies! One day closer to getting that BFP 🤞🏼💖

apwilso · 22/10/2020 09:33

Feeling impatient. Also confused as to when to test going off my app is saying just over a week! I was still
Testing for ovulation so unsure now!

I’m one day closer to getting my coil out! 🤣 I have my smear next week on Tuesday, do you think if I ask they’ll remove my coil then? Or should I just wait until my appointment next Friday? Hugely impatient 🤣

MamaMoonbeam · 22/10/2020 09:37

I enjoyed some "process" last night Halloween WinkHalloween Grin
How is everyone doing?

MamaMoonbeam · 22/10/2020 09:40

@FTM94 🤞🏻🤞🏻
@apwilso - do you have cheapy POASs?
@leah2501 - you could call the surgery and ask? Might be the same nurse that does it and whilst she's under the hood she may as well whip that bad boy out! 😊

apwilso · 22/10/2020 09:48

@MamaMoonbeam have to get the process in 😂😂😂

Not with me currently, at the minute I'm away in Devon so have none to hand. Feel tempted to just go buy one but don't want to do it too early!

OP posts:
MamaMoonbeam · 22/10/2020 09:54

@apwilso aw yeah 😘
I bought cheapy ones off eBay but also pay attention to my mucus because I feel that that is a massive indicator too. So maybe keep an eye on it while you're away rather than spend money on an OPK? Unless you want to, I guess

Leah2501 · 22/10/2020 10:02

@MamaMoonbeam they have large messaging online saying they aren’t providing coil removals at present, and a message on the phone saying it coil removal is needed to contact the sexual health clinic 😫 which I don’t mind going to the clinic, they were the ones that put it in. To me it just makes sense having it removed at the same time as a smear.

MamaMoonbeam · 22/10/2020 10:09

@Leah2501 oh boo! That's a bit pants Haloween Sad is the sexual health clinic far from you?

MrsLauraM · 22/10/2020 10:18

Morning ladies!
We also enjoyed some process last night @MamaMoonbeam 😉😉 think I can let the hubby have some rest now though 😂
@Leah2501 that’s a bit rubbish. I can imagine it’s frustrating when all you want to do is start TTC.
@apwilso boots do a pack of 7 tests for £10.99 if there’s one near you? If you’re eager to test they might be ok? I’ve never used them personally so can’t say what the reliability is like though.

MamaMoonbeam · 22/10/2020 10:23

@MrsLauraM I'm glad to see everyone is getting the process in! Halloween Grin my DP said if he's ever too tired I just have to get on with it on top 😂 suits me fine!

Leah2501 · 22/10/2020 10:32

Sexual health clinic isn’t far thank god, but they only do same day appointments and after 45 mins of waiting on the phone first thing all the appointments are usually booked.

Sorry if this is TMI but husband felt the strings with his fingers the other night, he offered to pull it out 😂 after laughing and joking I’m now regretting not taking him seriously 🤣

MrsLauraM · 22/10/2020 10:35

Sounds fair @MamaMoonbeam 😂😂 my DH has asked me not to tell him when I’m ovulating as he doesn’t like the pressure bless him 😂

Oooh @Leah2501 just the thought of that makes me cross my legs 😂😂

AugustLove · 22/10/2020 10:35

Good morning!
I’d love to join you all as we are also TTC as of this month.
This will be our fourth, we have two children and our third was due early in 2021. Sadly I suffered a late miscarriage in August and she was born a few days under 20 weeks. It’s been the hardest few months of my life, but I feel very strongly that she will always be my third baby and il forever keep her memory alive 💕

I would have started trying again last month but my husband said to wait a month, at the time I took this badly but actually he was right. My body needed a time to rest and re-set and I think it was a good idea to have a cycle without the pressure of wondering if we had conceived if that makes sense!!

It’s been nice to read through the thread, I hope there will be some happy news for us all very soon. Also, the photos of the pups are just gorgeous!!

Leah2501 · 22/10/2020 10:41

@MrsLauraM 🤣🤣

@AugustLove So sorry to hear this! Must have been and is a difficult time for you. I do agree with your husband, allowing your body a month to rest and recover has probably done it the world of good. Sending you lots of baby dust and positive thoughts ❤️

MamaMoonbeam · 22/10/2020 10:45

Boo again @Leah2501 ! The last time I went to one, I had to book a month in advance! I've had a coil before and feeling the strings is so disconcerting! And, apparently, prickly on "the tip" 😂😂

@MrsLauraM daw, dear of him Halloween Grin my DP doesn't want to know how much im planning on DTD with him over the next couple of weeks... heh heh heeeeeh! 😂
